“Ahh...” she let out another weak whimper although her throat felt very dry and hoarse when she felt Florian’s cock moving inside of her.

Just thinking about a child growing in her belly made her feel nauseated. She took a deep breath to calm her own nerves as she repeated to herself that she wasn’t yet pregnant and that there was no guarantee that she would conceive just from mating with Florian once. From generations of careful mating of her family members, her bloodline is considered to be as pure as it could be.

“That might be for the best. There’s not much use for this ability nowadays anyways,” Florian commented lightly.

Regina was still confused about the sudden development in her situation that she didn’t know what to say so she just nodded her head slightly. Florian moved to sit next to her comfortably on the bed before staring at her face. Regina immediately looked away before trying to pull up the covers to cover her body.

“You don’t need to hide yourself; I’ve seen quite a lot already...” Florian said followed by a soft chuckle.

His amused reaction earned him a scowl from Regina, but she did not say anything because she did not want to argue with him. She could feel his gaze on her, and she refused to look his way. The silence in the room became uncomfortable for her and she wondered when Florian would just get up and leave. Her body still felt hot, and she wanted to take a long bath alone.

“Are you feeling better?” Florian asked after a moment of silence.

“You should leave, and we should pretend that nothing happened here,” Regina said coldly.

“That is not possible, and you know it. The moon is full tonight. I’ll have to report each and every single person that I mate with tonight to the committee. That is how things work,” Florian stated factually.

“Since when were you so strict on following the rules?” she asked bitterly.

“It’s not only for my sake. If those women get pregnant then the committee should know that I’m the one responsible,” Florian replied with a helpless shrug of his shoulders.

“I don’t want anyone to find out...” she muttered, and it was evident that she was extremely upset.

Florian let out a sigh as she watched the depressed expression on her face. Although Regina was with him on the bed, it was clear that her mind was already elsewhere.

“I don’t see any harm at all in this for you. Even if your father finds out, it’ll be much better for him that you’ve made progress by mating with one of us princes even though it turned out to be me and not Leo. We all know that in this race for the throne, time is of the essence. Your father won’t sit and wait forever for you to come up with a genius way to seduce Leo. When his patience runs out or when you admit that you can’t possibly find a way to get Leo to mate with you, whichever comes first, he’ll force you to mate with either Darius or me,” Florian explained what he believed Regina probably also knew.
