I cocked my head slightly to the side questioningly. Instead of standing up to fetch what he had prepared, the prince simply turned us around in the chair that we were on.

I wasn’t sure what to expect and because of that, I didn’t quite know what I should be looking for when I came face to face with our reflection in a very large mirror that was located to one side of the room not too far from where we were seated. I stared into the mirror while feeling slightly confused and my eyes immediately met the prince’s. It felt like he was watching me intently through the mirror’s reflection.

Was this what he had prepared?

“A mirror?” I asked in a murmured.

“Don’t close your eyes, Mila,” the prince instructed.

The warm tone of his voice felt so captivating as he spoke to me close to my ear. My body trembled slightly on his lap. I could see the prince’s eyes staring at my reflection as our eyes locked. It felt a little strange to see myself seated on the prince’s lap although I had been sitting there for a while now.
