Once the protection was disappeared, all hell broke loose. The warriors and the Holy Knights, along with the magic users fought against the royal warriors, they were outnumbered because they lost so many warriors during their time in the border of Diandem pack.

And after two hours of a fierce battle, the warriors and the people from the Holy Kingdom were forced back due to so many magic users, who ran out of the magic stones. They were rather useless without it.

If this kept happening and they couldn’t hold back their ground, it was only a matter of time they caught up with all the pack member, who fled from the pack, while the reinforcement had not yet to be seen.

"Knights! Stand your ground!" Cedric roared, as he led all the Holy Knights and secured the escape path for the magic users, as they couldn’t be any help in this battle anymore. "Hold your ground!"

The shifters were in front of them, while they took care the beasts, who managed to go past them.

The battle went fiercely and thankfully, before any horrendous thing could happen to them, Zephyr and Asher had rushed to help. They fought the beasts ferociously, which saved their lives.

However, Aliana was extremely injured, since she took two beasts at time.

"Where is Grace?!" Joel ignored his own injuries, he shifted into his human form, as he went to see Aliana, who was bleeding from her shoulder.

"Go and take Celia and Haco away from here!" Zephyr commanded Asher. "I will take care of Aliana!" He then shifted his attention toward the young warrior. "Go and get Grace here! I will stay with her!"

Joel and Asher didn’t waste another second when both of them stood up and were about to do the task that was given to them when more beasts broke loose of their defense, this time, there were seven of them.

"This will not do..." Asher muttered.

"Go... leave me here," Aliana said in small voice. She knew there was no way they would be able to fight the seven of them while trying to protect her.

However, how could they leave her behind?! There was no way they would do that to her!

This was what Jace scared for his little sister, why he was very adamant for her to not leave the pack because he knew this kind of thing could happen and it was very dangerous out there, especially if she had to follow the alpha.

The battle came so near, as they could hear the growls and snarls from those beasts, who were fighting, as the ground was shaking.

And before Zephyr and the other could decide what to do, the seven beasts had charged toward them, they barred their fangs and claws, ready to take their lives.

It wouldn’t end well, because from the corner of their eyes, they could see more and more enemies managed to go through the Holy Knights and the shifters, they made a hole in their defense and didn’t stop coming.

Kian and Reed realized what was going on the last row and immediately came with the other three warriors, as they handed over the children in their arms and urged them to move faster than this, but it was so hard to do so.

Five beasts from Cane’s people came to help, but there were more enemies came down on them.

This wouldn’t do, if the reinforcement didn’t come quickly, there would be no one to be saved here. All of them would be slaughtered in no time.
