Chapter 60 - 60: Entrapment

Two things terrified Seth, he knew some things that happened in the game correspond to real life. And… the realistic feeling in the game that was almost an exact replica of real life made him deluded that what was happening to him was real and what if his real body changed too. Thankfully, that wasn't the case.

He now stood before his cabin contemplating. His tolerance has reached its limit and he doesn't believe he can be carefree again.

He shook his head as he read what Raaz sent him regarding what happened to him. They were texts of encouragement and the reality of things.

People like Seth feel the game world more realistically than others because of two things. One, they come in contact with Temporal Pearls. Two, their Mental Power.

There were ways for a person to fight the delusion and the fear they were experiencing. And that was by doing exercise in real life—that will stimulate all the sensory organs in the real world and make an individual feel the difference.

Seth shook his head and thought, 'The thing was, I knew it was fake but, it was like a dream I'm living. Sometimes even if I know it was a dream that wouldn't stop it from scaring me.'

The young man steel his resolve and slid into the cabin. Joseph, who has been watching by the side, helped him close the lid.

Sarah would have stopped Seth but seeing his stamina improving every time he dived made her think and hope positively about it.

Even Seth was dumbfounded when he ran from Poison Beauty location to his cottage in minutes. That means, in the game, he tapped into something called hysterical strength.

Seth calmed down and closed his eyes to feel his body. He then called status but nothing on it. However, he was perceiving the womb just like he can feel his hands, albeit weaker!

He then read the Womb status and discerned the difference. The womb was no longer Dormant but only empty and also part of him.

Seth then called his Health status, it was the same. Nothing changed.

With his staff, he walked toward the Poison Beauty. In the past, he would have begged his mother to allow him to play the game but now he wanted to create an excuse not to play the game.

3 hr later, he reached the place with bated breath but he didn't rest but began to eat Red Nectar Rose, his body immediately began turning red, then he ate the vines and other parts of it.

He almost fell down but he walked forward. He grabbed Poison Beauty grape-like fruits, stem, leaf, branch, thorn, roots, and any parts of the shrub, then he walked to the nearest tree.

Using 'Size Reschedule' he sat comfortably with difficulty and poured everything in his mouth and swallowed.

Seth dismissed the notification and closed his heavy eyes. That was when he sensed another view. He can feel the surroundings of the Womb. However, it was weak.

Not only that, he noticed, elatedly, that his other senses were sharp and when he concentrated he felt something very familiar close to him.

What shocked him was that, despite the poison overload, his health didn't worsen at all. It was still critical.

Seth then removed that thought from his head and tried to sleep but the effect of what he ate began to become body-numbing.

It was slowly spreading, making him lose the sense of his body until he began to realize the pain he felt during the Transformation incident was better than this feeling.

This one was invading his very being, depriving him of feeling the environment around him... Seth doesn't know when he fell from the tree and broke his leg as his body was like a dead sac.

But then intense hunger appeared in him and began to drive him crazy. He pushed his uncoordinated body and began to devour everything around him.

As time went on, Seth lost the sense of being a human and became like an animal devoid of reason or semblance of sanity as he roamed the forest like a beast that craved to feed only.

In the real world, his cabin has sealed itself, and days passed while he was trapped inside.

Raaz and his entire team couldn't do a thing because the damn thing will cause harm to Seth if they force their way in. The only saving grace was that Seth's body function was perfect but it was like he was in a coma.

"Why does this kid always have to suffer like this!" Adam, Seth's father complained.

"Because it was Rank 5. If he had a Bronze Rank then things like this might not happen. Rest assured he is fine!" Raaz explained, not believing himself but he had to show a strong front!

At the end of the 5th day, the cabin slid open and a gentle face of a boy opened his eyes.

"Most you always cause something so dramatic!?" Adamina complained.

Seth sighed and shook his head, 'I planned to avoid the damn game but it trapped me. I only hope my in-game madness won't follow me here.'
