Temporal Pearls -
Chapter 50 - 50: [Bonus chapter]Aaron Babadose
Travelling about one hundred meters, mostly crawling through natural tunnels, he arrived at a cave that seemed wide enough to hold two people.
As if being back in heaven, the old man smiled as he began to eat some green-coloured rocks.
"Ah, life is so hard yet so simple here." The old man commented.
Sometime later, he began to speak again, "Hmm, Red Valley, I would never go there without preparation!"
"That man will one day have himself eaten. Poor boy, didn't he know Red has always indicated danger wherever one was?"
He has been alone, longer than Seth has been, and the old man has developed the habit of talking to himself. He mostly commented on things that never happened in his vicinity. But since he was ever alone, no one will find that an anomaly.
He was no NPC, but a player just like Seth. If he was in a light, people would notice that his attire was a shade of Light Gold and deep gold at the edges.
The apparel is the same as other players, a light golden jacket with deep gold inlaid at the edges—a white t-shirt inside with a design of a golden Dragon on its back and front. Then long pants and boots with the same design.
But what the old man additionally has was a cap akin to a Crown. Though it was made up of the soft material as the clothes, he always kept it in his pocket. But whenever he moves around he will put it on.
Time ticked, and he too seemed to be just idling away, waiting for something. But there was nothing to wait for!
"This kid might be miserable, but he has pretty interesting treasures. One day, I'm gonna visit him and see what he is busy charging. The Womb he calls it, right!"
Making that comment, the cave he was in shook. The man smiled and mumbled. "That is my cue to change to another home!"
He didn't seem bothered by the sudden tremor as he packed everything and stuffed them into his inventory. Then he wore his cap and he became very still as if trying to merge with cave walls.
Roar!
A Dragon roar resounded, rattling the walls and making long cracks appear. The grey-haired old man's body trembled by the sound but he held on.
Health: Great > Shock > Great
The game system notified him of his health status. He healed faster than a normal player.
"Hmm, those books on earth said Dragons are intelligent at birth but it turns out they were pretty stupid just like human babies but at least smarter. This idiot will always roar the moment it sensed me." The old man idly commented with a smiled
Then, the cave began shaking continuously as the Dragon was bashing through the rocky wall in an attempt to reach the old man.
The shake of the cave made large rocks fall from the ceiling. Then the Dragon roared again and that rattled the bones of the old man more. This time, the old man did look scared.
The more the Dragon came close, the more formless pressure pressed on the old man.
"Damn, this fissure is not big enough for me to pass!" He said in a panic as he looked at the fissure the size of his hair width. Thankfully, the more the Dragon roared, the bigger it became.
When the Dragon was one hundred meters away the fissure was at the width of his smallest finger.
The golden cap on the old man's head glowed with light as it reduced the pressure of the Dragon on the old man, if not, he would have been squashed by the pressure when the Dragon was just 200 meters away.
Even with that, the old man was barely breathing, and blood was oozing out of his three orifices, mouth, nose and ears. His bulging eyes were blood red and about to pop out.
The moment the fissure was the size of his smallest finger, he pushed the finger in and cackled a forced laugh, then his body vibrated in a unique frequency and became hazy and then his body began to seep through the fissure.
At that time, a two-meter tall wingless Dragon baby smashed the last wall and a ray of light illuminated the small cave.
The face of the old man, that was seeping through the tiny fissure, was very old and wrinkled, most of his front teeth were gone.
He looked like someone that was halfway to the grave due to age, but what was noticeable about him was that he was blind. Technically, he has no eyes. It's just an empty socket!
"Bye, Zeenah! Miss you!" He said before he seeped through and disappeared completely.
"Aaron, roar!" The wingless baby Dragon roared.
Aaron Babadose!
A player likes Seth who was left in Gawee Continent. However, he was trapped in the vast cave of the Golden Dragon Nest.

"I need to build up my confidence again!" Seth mumbled. The mental stab he felt last time gave him an eerie feeling. And he began to wonder what would happen if he continued charging the Womb to stage five.
The reason for his hesitation was, he might have crashed Hive Mind Game back in the day, but Astroid Online is no ordinary game.
It was infinitely better than Hive Mind.
Crushing the game to the point of overheating his headgear and even catching fire was different than facing Asteroid Online Cabin.
That's why Seth cooled down his ego until he did some research.
Seeing it's time to sleep and logging out Seth closed his eyes and fell asleep. And at that moment he was logged out of the game.
'Yesterday I didn't get the chance to know what really happened that made Adamina say I broke the game. I should ask her since I have no class today!'
