Chapter 43 - 43: You Have Brave The Rain!

Aura Sight!

His vision changed but it was no longer the almighty green. However, it was a multitude of colours.

The ground had a brown glow, the rain had a sparkling transparent glow, and the plants were still deep green, the flowers and other parts of the plants have different glows that correspond to their colour, yet are mixed with a green glow.

Seth quickly drank Soothing Water to keep up with the sight that was about to be turned off.

With a new conviction, Seth moved forwards. He was already seeing the success of the mission and achieving much more.

When Seth reached the first tree, with his sight he watched, whenever the rain touched any part of the tree, it would be tainted with the tree aura.

Seth stabilized himself and arranged the plant leaves in a way to make the water flow down in one direction with greater volume.

The water was still transparent but under Aura Sight, Seth saw the water glowing with a green hue.

Seth brought one of the foldable jars and put its cap to harvest the Green Glow water.

Seth stayed there until he filled it up and then tightened the jar. He dragged it and placed it on the ground where he could take any time.

At that point, his eyes sting with pain due to prolonged use. And then Aura Sight was Deactivated.

"I will dedicate an entire week to training Aura Sight…."

Seth swore as he realized he can comprehend the nature of the world and its uniqueness with the Aura Sight better.

Then he dragged himself to another tree that had dirty green leaves and many roots coiling around its body.

He tried activating Aura Sight but it wouldn't activate, Seth dragged himself to begin harvesting the water.

These Insect Repelling Trees were situated immediately after the Border Tree.

Seth began to wonder, aren't these arrangements man-made? He looked left and right and he confirmed that the trees were similar, then he passed them and went deeper.

Seth observed the tree and realized this series of herbivore-attracting trees have different shaped fruits on them. Still, after checking, he realized they were of the same species.

A bold idea struck him.

Seth's Staff widened enough for him to sit and then lengthened. He held the tree to stop the wind from tumbling him as he went up. Gradually, he reached the fruit.

"Is this the legendary mango of the old earth?" He wondered.

Seth took his time to fill the water that slides on the Mango fruit before he came down. He went to another tree and tried the same thing.

Violet Flower was found on the Border Tree. Seth went back to test his hypothesis. That says each part of the tree has its own specific Elements plus the General Element of the tree.

As not all trees have flowers or fruits that glow, the forest was eerily dark with occasional lights. Seth looked into the dark forest and gulped down.

There were a lot of Medicinal Trees in the forest that he had read or heard of from Madam Mud.

In fact, Madam Mud relied on these Medicinal Shrubs and Trees to concoct her medicines.

"Madam Mud was always given missions and always on experiment due to many of these trees. I need to get their water…."

Seth glanced at the remaining slot of his Quest and wondered, should he pour away the water he harvested?

Because he didn't know whether he would be able to Harvest the element water after he finished the Quest. Hopefully, that wasn't the case. Well, Seth decided not to do it.

Then, Seth walked between the swaying of the trees and ignored the crackling of thunder.

He was no longer being pushed by the wind but the path in the forest was uneven with protruded roots, and slippery and wet ground.

It makes walking a living ordeal, but he braved it even after falling periodically, due to the containers he carried and the slippery ground until he reached a short green tree with a Magenta Color Leaf.

Seth grabbed the Soothing Gourd and checked. Ten dots on its body have become pronounced.

The Gourd was golden yellow with tiny bulges downward to the bottom. They helped it stabilize when it was placed on the ground.

"I see, the stage didn't improve but bathing under the Multitude Element Mineral Rain, refined and enhanced it."

"I hope the more stages it crosses the more dots it will activate and that will mean more different water generated."

Seth braved the heavy dark forest as he moved around the part of the forest he could reach, collecting water from different trees and parts of trees.

After the ten collections. He tried to collect another Element Water and a Quest was issued again.

Seth was delighted and he continued collecting different water he deem useful. He collected in ten rounds, each increasing his Gourd Slot until a new strange notification rang.

Seth stared at the notification with a frown. It was not a Quest and he felt the urge to dismiss it.

In the end, he followed the instructions and traced and followed the path where he kept containers of Element Water and grabbed them.

It didn't activate.

Seth made three trips to gather the water containers in the cottage. He even took the filled buckets into the cottage. But the barrels were too heavy so he left them.

The moment he turned off the armour, Seth felt an overwhelming cold hit him. His body shivered, due to hypothermia.

He forced himself to gulp down Soothing Water in large quantities and drag his body to begin preparing for the Quest.

Suddenly a wave of dizziness hit him as he fell, almost unconscious!
