“I can’t today, I have plans with Ye Zhen. Can you tell Aunt Suxin and Uncle Sheng for me? I’ll visit them later,” Shen Zhaozhao said.

On the eve of the college entrance exam, Ye Zhen’s foster father was assaulted by debt collectors and ended up in the ICU. She missed her exams as she stayed by his side in the hospital, and now she was repeating her final year at Jiu Middle School.

Sheng Chuyi said, “That might not work; my parents are probably already on a plane going on vacation abroad. You won’t see them until the vacation ends. But if you want to eat something, I can cook for you.”

“What? Why didn’t you go with them?”

Sheng Chuyi replied, “I wanted to stay and keep my girlfriend company, but it seems she doesn’t need me.”

“Sorry, tomorrow, I’ll definitely spend time with you,” Shen Zhaozhao said in a soft voice.

Sheng Chuyi looked at the phone and couldn’t help but smile.

The taxi stopped at the gate of the orphanage, and just as Shen Zhaozhao got out, she heard the roar of a motorcycle.

Turning around, she saw a motorcycle approaching from a distance, smoothly stopping in front of her. The rider took off the helmet, revealing the familiar face of Ye Zhen.

Clad in a black leather jacket and pants, she looked even more striking.

“Sure!” Shen Zhaozhao responded with a laugh.

She had never ridden in such a cool vehicle before.

The two, just like old times, distributed the things they had brought to the children and stayed at the orphanage for a while before leaving.

Before leaving, Shen Zhaozhao transferred the money from Yu Zhi and her roommates to Director Mother, telling her that it was a gesture from her roommates and to use it to buy something to eat for the children.

Upon leaving the orphanage, Ye Zhen looked at her and said, “It seems you’re getting along well with your new roommates.”

Shen Zhaozhao smiled and replied, “Yes, they are really nice people. By the way, since you moved out from the Ye Family, where are you staying now?”

Ye Zhen said, “I rented a new place and now live with my foster father.”
