Xu Xiang didn’t answer A Lu Yu, but looked at Nalan Tuya, lost in thought. She was thinking about whether Nalan Tuya was worth her help or not.

Hearing A Lu Yu’s question, A Lu Da came back to his senses, and quickly said, "Xu Xiang, please save Tuya. I beg you."

Xu Xiang looked at his pale face and said calmly: "I can save her, but I want you to promise me one thing."

Before A Lu Yu could ask her what she wanted, A Lu Da had already said, "All right. I promise you."

Xu Xiang looked at A Lu Da’s determined eyes, raised her eyebrows and asked, "Whatever I want from you, you just agreed without asking?"

A Lu Da looked at his fiancée for a while, then turned to look at Xu Xiang, and said, "No matter what you want me to do, as long as you can save Tuya, I will do it."

She narrowed her eyes and asked, "Is she worth it?"

He nodded and replied seriously: "Yes."

Xu Xiang shrugged and said, "Since you have made up your mind, then I will save her. Everyone, please go out because I need to concentrate."

When Nalan Tuya’s mother heard that she had to leave, she hurriedly stood by the bed and looked at Xu Xiang suspiciously.

"No. I will stay with my daughter." She said, while holding Nalan Tuya’s hand tightly.

Xu Xiang could see that Nalan Tuya’s mother neither trusted nor liked her, but she didn’t know why and didn’t care. She saved Nalan Tuya only because of A Lu Da’s promise.

She looked at Nalan Tuya’s mother and said expressionlessly: "If you want to save your daughter, please leave."

A Lu Yu looked at Xu Xiang’s expressionless face for a while. He then looked at Nalan Tuya’s mother again, smiled at her and said, "Auntie, let’s go out first and let Xu Xiang save Tuya."

She glared at A Lu Yu and shouted, "No! I won’t leave Tuya alone with this woman!"

With a smile on his face, A Lu Yu grabbed her arm and dragged her out of the tent without saying a word. Surprised by his rudeness, she yelled: "Let me go! A Lu Yu, you’d better let me go now!"

Xu Xiang looked at the closed curtain for a second, looked at A Lu Da, and said, "I need to be alone to treat Miss Nalan."

A Lu Da nodded, looked at Nalan Tuya again, and then left the tent. He stood in front of the tent, not letting anyone in to disturb Xu Xiang, including Nalan Tuya’s mother.

After everyone left, Xu Xiang brought Nalan Tuya to her space. Appearing in front of the laboratory building, she brought Nalan Tuya to the seventh floor of the laboratory building with her thoughts. When she stepped into the spacious room, the lights in the room came on, and Lun Hui’s face appeared on the main screen in the center of the room.

He saw her come back with an unconscious woman wearing clothes made from animal skin, and asked, "We have a guest? But she seemed to be dying."

Hearing what he said, Xu Xiang chuckled.

"She is not a guest. I reached an agreement with her fiancé and promised him to save her. There are countless Gu poisons in her body. Since more Gu poisons are needed as experimental subjects, I agreed to save her and brought her here." While she explained to Lun Hui, she placed Nalan Tuya on the operating table.

Lun Hui looked at Nalan Tuya’s face and said, "She is so lucky to have a fiancé who loves her."

"Don’t be too sure. Whether she is really lucky or not is still uncertain." Xu Xiang said mysteriously while undressing Nalan Tuya.

After undressing Nalan Tuya, she looked at Lun Hui and said, "Help me remove the Gu poison inside her body. Be sure to keep all the Gu poison alive."

"Yes, Master." Lun responded, and began the process of removing the Gu poison from Nalan Tuya’s body.

Xu Xiang stood aside, watching the robot arms start to pick up the Gu poison one by one from Nalan Tuya’s blood vessels. With their advanced technology, the robot arms can easily detect the hidden Gu poison, and remove it without leaving any scars on Nalan Tuya’s body. Three hours later, the last Gu poison was finally caught and put into a test tube.

Xu Xiang looked at the rows of test tubes filled with tiny black spiders on the metal shelf, and said, "It’s amazing that these Gu poisons can be hidden in her body. I guess there are at least a few hundred of them, right?"

"It’s four hundred and seventy one." Lun Hui corrected her.

"I wonder how that man injected so much Gu poison into her body." She said while helping Nalan Tuya to dress.

Lun Hui looked at her curious expression and said, "It’s impossible to put so many bugs into a human body without the victim knowing."

She thought for a while and asked, "Then how come there are more than four hundred Gu poison in her body?"

Lun Hui didn’t answer her, but waited for her to find the answer by herself. A few seconds later, Xu Xiang looked at Lun Hui in horror, and hesitantly asked, "Could it be that Gu poison can reproduce inside the human body?"

"Correct. Gu poison bred by eating human blood. The longer they stay in the victim’s body, the more Gu poison there will be in the victim’s body. When the victim’s blood can’t sustain the Gu poison anymore, the Gu poison will start to feed on the victim’s internal organs, flesh, and lastly, the bones. In the end, the victim will be eaten to death from the inside out." Lun Hui explained to her calmly.

Listening to his explanation, Xu Xiang trembled all over. No matter how courageous she was, she would still get goosebumps when she heard how the victim of Gu poison would die. She looked at Nalan Tuya, thinking that her luck was indeed very good.
