The little girl took a step forward, took the peeled marble tea egg from Xu Xiang’s hand, and said softly, "Thank you."

After finishing speaking, she ran away with a happy smile. Xu Xiang watched the little girl show the marble tea egg to a woman. The little girl pointed at her while talking to the woman. The woman looked at her for a while, then listened to the little girl again.

Xu Xiang watched them talking in the distance while eating her marble tea eggs. After she finished eating the second egg, the woman bowed slightly to her, then took the little girl’s hand and left. Swallowing the egg into her mouth, she put away the remaining marble tea eggs and put them back into the space.

A Lu Da glanced at her and then walked in front of her, while the others followed behind her. After walking for a few minutes, they came to the largest tent there. Opening the curtain, A Lu Da led Xu Xiang into the tent. The rest stood outside, guarding the tent.

A Lu Da lowered the curtain and said, "Please take a seat."

Xu Xiang looked at those people in the tent for a few seconds, and then sat down on the only vacant floor cushion. After she sat down, everyone looked at her silently.

"Can you tell us your name?" The oldest man asked.

Xu Xiang looked at the man in his fifties and said, "My name is Xu Xiang. Just ask what you want to ask."

Hearing her straightforward words, the man burst out laughing. After the laughter subsided, he said, "We heard from A Lu Ge that you told him that the well water is poisonous. He also said that you have a way to detoxify the poison. Is what he said true?"

Xu Xiang glanced at the other people present, then looked at the man and said, "What he said is true."

As soon as she finished speaking, they began to whisper. While they were whispering amongst themselves, Xu Xiang observed them carefully. Looking at them, the corners of her lips rose slightly.

"If none of you believe me, why bother asking me?" She asked calmly.

A middle-aged woman looked at her and smiled gently. Seeing her fake smile, Xu Xiang rolled her eyes in her heart. She had seen countless people like this middle-aged woman in her previous life.

The middle-aged woman smiled and said, "If we don’t believe you, we won’t invite you over."

Xu Xiang chuckled and said, "I don’t think so."

The middle-aged woman’s smile subsided, she frowned and said, "Since you insist on going the hard way, then I will just tell you. Hand over the treasure."

Xu Xiang didn’t know what she was talking about, and asked, "What treasure?"

Another middle-aged man sneered and asked, "Playing stupid?"

Xu Xiang rested her chin on her hand, trying to guess what they were talking about. Looking at their expressions, she frowned. Following their gaze, she looked at the thigh bag tied to her thigh. Realizing what they were talking about, she couldn’t help chuckling.
