After the members of the Fan family separated with them, Xu Xiang and the others continued to move forward and did not stop until the moon was already hanging high in the sky. On the way, they found a huge cave and decided to spend the night there. After parking the mule cart and sleigh in the cave, Xiao Han went to find Xu Xiang.

She put everything into a wooden basin and carried it to the bonfire. Sitting around the bonfire were members of the Xiao family and the Fan family. Seeing her coming, Xiao Shao got up and approached her.

She noticed that he seemed to be very proactive tonight. Xu Xiang watched him for a few seconds before starting to cook. Because today is hotter than usual, she plans to make spring rolls and chicken salad. These two dishes could help them dissipate some of the heat.

As for the chicken, she was not worried, because the wooden box that Cai Youhua opened earlier contained chickens. When Xiao Shao decided to help the Fan family, she specially put some things and chickens in those wooden boxes. Xu Xiang looked at his back, and then at the three spring rolls on her small plate. After a moment of silence, she picked up one spring roll and took a bite.
