Chapter 1559 - Chapter 1559 Chapter 1419 Battle Six Fires
Chapter 1559: Chapter 1419 Battle Six Fires! Chapter 1559: Chapter 1419 Battle Six Fires! In a wide fiery red silk gown and long fiery red hair, her fair skin radiated a pride from her very bones that forbade anyone from approaching. When such a woman stood over a towering Pangying Flame Beast, even the most conceited would not dare refute being called worthless, and could only lower their head in silence.
The Pangying Flame Beast started walking, not treading air, but sprinting fiercely on the ground.
Where its hooves passed, the ground scorched, with air igniting and spreading wildly.
The Fire Lady ran ahead, with the members of the Six Fires following reverently. Using some unknown skill, they kindled flames along the path where they ran; amidst these flames, their running speed was tremendously fast, surprisingly keeping up with the Fire Lady’s Pangying Flame Beast.
…
“They are catching up, the Flame Beast at the lead has a powerful presence,” Princess Jinrou looked back at the ignited ground behind them and worriedly said.
Enemies from other directions were also approaching quickly; Martial Cloud Dragon couldn’t fly straight as it would be easy to get surrounded.
If they moved diagonally, the Fire Series Soul Pet Masters from behind could easily catch up since they seemed to guess that Chu Mu and the others were heading towards the back of the sunlight.
“Jinrou, how far away is the other group from us?” Chu Mu looked back and asked.
“With our current route and speed, it will take about twenty minutes to reach us. They are moving very fast, possibly flying in formation,” Princess Jinrou said.
Soul Pets of the same Winged System could form arrays, boosting their flight speed significantly by manipulating air currents to propel each other.
Continuing like this wasn’t a solution because in ten minutes, if Martial Cloud Dragon was slightly intercepted by another group, they would have to face attacks from two directions.
“Let’s deal with these Fire Series Soul Pet Masters first,” Chu Mu said.
Handling them one group at a time was better than being surrounded. Chu Mu had Martial Cloud Dragon stop and face the seven Fire Series Soul Pet Masters.
Martial Cloud Dragon descended from the sky; its massive feet landed on the ground, causing it to tremble intensely.
Martial Cloud Dragon turned around, its sharp claws fiercely uprooted a mountain peak that spanned several thousand meters, then hurled it towards the approaching Fire Series Soul Pet Masters!
The sight of a several-thousand-meter mountain sliding across the ground was shockingly impressive, with rock fragments from the collision scattering everywhere.
When the Pangying Flame Beast saw a mountain sweeping across the ground towards it, it didn’t jump or dodge. Instead, its speed remained unchanged, and a rapidly spinning cone of fire formed around its body, spinning fast as it ran!
“Bang!!!!!”
The mountain was split into two by the spinning cone of fire, and the other Fire Series Soul Pets dashed right through the break.
The six following Fire Lady turned pale at the sight of the sliding mountain, but the Fire Lady maintained her composure. Her eyes, following Martial Cloud Dragon that suddenly stopped running, flickered with doubt but she then snorted coldly, “Seeking death!”
Fire Lady rode ahead; though the Pangying Flame Beast wasn’t as huge as Martial Cloud Dragon, the intense flames it emitted were overwhelming.
Martial Cloud Dragon’s deep blue eyes looked down at the Pangying Flame Beast. It breathed out a disorderly whirlwind, visibly interested in battling the not lesser-in-spirit Pangying Flame Beast.
“Martial Cloud Dragon, handle it. I’ll take care of the other six,” Chu Mu jumped down from Martial Cloud Dragon’s back.
Martial Cloud Dragon nodded. Disliking passive defense, it saw the Pangying Flame Beast rushing towards it without slowing down and deliberately strode forward with gigantic steps, leaving deep pits in the ground with each step, furiously colliding with the Pangying Flame Beast!!
The flames on the Pangying Flame Beast roared as it collided with Martial Cloud Dragon, exploding violently.
Martial Cloud Dragon didn’t care about the scorching flames. Its barbaric strength was clearly stronger than that of the Pangying Flame Beast. After the collision, the Pangying Flame Beast slid back a great distance, and the flames around it dissipated.
Fire Lady staggered but stabilized herself, her eyebrows knitting, obviously surprised by Martial Cloud Dragon’s strength.
“This is a wild Martial Cloud Dragon,” Fire Lady quickly deduced, her gaze falling on Chu Mu.
She didn’t know why this wild Martial Cloud Dragon was helping the young man, but she was almost certain that the Light King’s Monument Cry was on this young man.
Fire Lady wasn’t really a Monument Weeper; her only purpose in chasing here was to find out the entrance to the Fierce Fire Secret Territory.
Fire Lady knew that the Light King of the Seven Sins Fox had entered the Fierce Fire Secret Territory and had obtained an epitaph tear there, so getting the Seven Sins Fox’s epitaph tear would let her know how to enter the Fierce Fire Secret Territory, and locate the Fire Immortal Death buried by the Sin Fox in the Fierce Fire Secret Territory.
Of course, epitaph tears are an immortal object rare in the world, and Fire Lady didn’t mind taking it as well.
“You six, take down that kid. If you can’t handle even this, you might as well be buried with this forsaken world!” Fire Lady coldly glanced at the Six Fires members.
“Lady, rest assured, we are no match for Martial Cloud Dragon, but this kid we can easily handle,” Feng Xu said hastily.
Fire Lady nodded, seeing Martial Cloud Dragon approaching, she dared not be distracted further and focused entirely on confronting it.
…
Feng Xu led five teammates and quickly surrounded Chu Mu.
Feng Xu could tell, Chu Mu was quite young, and such an age group couldn’t possibly contend with experienced Soul Pet Masters like them.
“Kid, don’t touch what shouldn’t be touched. Hand over the items early, and the lady might grant you a way out,” Feng Xu glanced at Chu Mu and said.
“This kid looks somewhat familiar,” mentioned a female Soul Pet Trainer among Six Fires.
This female Soul Pet Trainer was dressed in a dazzling gown, using charm to cover her plain appearance. Princess Jinrou beside her was puzzled–was this woman still putting on makeup in Seal Valley?
“Isn’t this guy Chu Mu, the champion of the Outstanding Competition?” Blue Fire among the Six Fires recognized Chu Mu, as he had been at the event too.
“Oh, so it’s him who was selected for Seal Valley Cultivation; weren’t the three who were cultivating left recently during the opening? How come he didn’t leave?” Li Huo said.
Chu Mu did not expect to have such a famous reputation, having been recognized.
However, since he was recognized, he might as well accept it. This fight was inevitable. He immediately performed a Double Summon, calling forth Little Hiding Dragon and Zhan Ye, ready to face these six individuals.
“Really doesn’t know how to appreciate favors!” Feng Xu said with a contemptuous smile, “To us who have already stepped into the Immortal level, the Outstanding Competition is like kids playing house!”
“Quickly finish him off, or the Fire Lady will blame us again,” Li Huo said.
The Six Fires didn’t take a young champion seriously at all. They didn’t even bother forming a formation, and Blue Fire, controlling the Flame Lion, was the first to rush towards Chu Mu.
“Zhan Ye, you handle it,” Chu Mu said to Zhan Ye.
Zhan Ye roared, its speed suddenly increased, charging towards the Immortal level Flame Lion.
“I heard your Dream Beast is quite formidable; let my Flame Nine-Headed Bird take care of it, shall we?” Feng Xu, controlling a nine-headed Flame Bird, flew above Chu Mu’s head, blocking any escape routes in the sky.
“Mo Ye, you take care of it,” Chu Mu said to Mo Ye.
“Woooooooo~~~”
Mo Ye leaped off Chu Mu’s shoulder, and as it ascended through the sky, purple flames rapidly burned.
Suddenly, a mountain-range-like Demonic Cloud giant tail appeared in the sky curtain. Feng Xu, controlling the Flame Nine-Headed Bird, failed to notice this, and became somewhat irritated when he realized Chu Mu wasn’t fighting him with his strongest Soul Pet.
Feng Xu, being the team leader of the Six Fires, hated being underestimated the most!
“I’ll exterminate one of your Souls first!” Feng Xu angrily commanded, setting up the Flame Nine-Headed Bird in a pose that could instantly kill Mo Ye.
After transforming into the Netherworld Fox Sovereign, Mo Ye in the sky trailed a long illusion. Shadows of the fox quickly darted through the Demonic Clouds, numerous giant tails swirling around unclearly at the front and back, constantly rolling and darting around the Flame Nine-Headed Bird.
Despite having nine heads, the Flame Nine-Headed Bird couldn’t distinguish which one was the real Mo Ye, only helplessly spewing magma pillars towards every illusion!
Chu Mu lifted his head and saw that Mo Ye collided with the Flame Nine-Headed Bird. Trusting in Mo Ye’s combat power, he no longer paid attention to the battle in the sky but started chanting another spell quickly.
“Hasn’t anyone taught you that a Soul Pet Master should not reveal his position carelessly?” a fire-blue Flame Lion suddenly appeared, and Blue Fire, controlling the Flame Lion, looked down at Chu Mu, arrogantly proclaiming Chu Mu’s demise.
At this level, every Soul Pet Master would be very mindful about their position, rarely making the mistake of being directly attacked by the enemy’s Soul Pet.
Chu Mu’s position was, however, quite reckless, allowing the experienced Blue Fire to seize the opportunity, aiming to end the battle straightforwardly.
Chu Mu slightly lifted his head, his eyes calmly swept over the domineering Blue Fire.
His spell continued unabated, yet his body slid backward in a strange trajectory.
Easily avoiding the attack of the Flame Lion, Little Hiding Dragon timely smacked the Flame Lion away with its claws, accompanied by a group of souls devouring, dimming the flames on the Flame Lion’s body slightly.
Blue Fire’s eyes widened, completely unable to comprehend how Chu Mu, a mere mortal-body Soul Pet Master, managed to evade his Flame Lion’s attack.
At this moment, Chu Mu finished his spell, and the summoned Soul Pet was Ye.
“Ye, you handle these two,” Chu Mu trusted Ye’s strength, directly asking it to face two opponents alone.
Ye didn’t say a word, standing quietly and ghostly in front of Chu Mu, its gaze deep and coldly watching the female Soul Pet Trainer and another Fire element Immortal.
“Leave the last one for me,” Princess Jinrou said to Chu Mu.
“There won’t be any danger, right?” Chu Mu was still rather worried about Princess Jinrou’s safety, given that the enemies were all of Immortal strength.
“Don’t worry,” Princess Jinrou confidently said, at that moment, she carried the demeanor of the Ghost Queen, showing a trace of regal charm!
