Chapter 1555 - Chapter 1555 Chapter 1415 Dark Sect Tian Lu
Chapter 1555: Chapter 1415: Dark Sect, Tian Lu Chapter 1555: Chapter 1415: Dark Sect, Tian Lu Flying toward the direction of Light Valley, the sky and the cloud layer were still filled with Light Sparrows circling as usual, unaware of the spatial anomalies and continuing their normal lives.
Chu Mu knew his presence was not welcomed amongst creatures of the Light type. Even if he told them the space was on the verge of collapsing, they might not believe him. Glancing at the Cloud Phoenix Nest, Chu Mu could only sigh and pass by.
“Jinrou, the place we’re currently in is a giant Array of Light. These rocks, gorges, earth splits, and mountain peaks all serve as array eyes, nodes, and symbols,” Chu Mu said to Princess Jinrou.
Princess Jinrou observed her surroundings carefully. She had some understanding of Formation Diagrams, and although she was not capable of laying out diagrams directly like Yu Suo, she could still discern some of the patterns from various traces.
“Our vision is too limited. We can only understand it from a higher place,” said Princess Jinrou.
Continuing their climb up the high mountain, Princess Jinrou would look back at Array Valley every time they ascended a certain height.
Her spiritual power traced the patterns in her mind, which then enabled her to memorize the entire diagram.
Array Valley unfolded like a massive painting across the Continent; from this height, even hundreds of meters tall mountain peaks appeared as mere pinpoints.
“Strange, parts of this array seem to be damaged,” Princess Jinrou said with a frown, pointing at one of the diagrams and continuing, “When you went to Wupan Continent, Father and I visited Thunder Valley. The frame of the formation in Thunder Valley is similar to this one, but its integrity is far higher. The Seven Stars Array Eye was damaged, the Half Moon Diagram was also erased by half, and a vital Array Diagram energy link, the Dragon Diagram, was damaged…”
Chu Mu did not quite understand what Princess Jinrou was talking about and could only look at her blankly, waiting for her to continue explaining.
“If this is a Sealing Array, its sealing strength is no more than one-tenth of the original. If it’s an Energy Array, its power is not even one-fifth of the original. This Array of Light can only be considered a remnant array,” Princess Jinrou explained.
They continued their ascent, and after reaching the mountain top, Chu Mu walked towards the cave of the Light King.
Unfortunately, the Light King of the Seven Sins Fox was not at the mountain top, which made Chu Mu somewhat anxious.
Seal Valley World was very vast. If the Light King had run far away, it would be impossible for Chu Mu to take it out in such a short time.
“Jinrou, try to sense it again,” Chu Mu said.
Princess Jinrou’s wide-range sensing technique would consume a great deal of spiritual power, which is why Chu Mu did not ask her to sense for the Light King previously.
“Yeah.” Princess Jinrou nodded, gently placed her fair hands on her chest, and closed her eyes.
Chu Mu waited silently. On the side, the simple Martial Cloud Dragon touched his head, not understanding what the two humans were doing.
“I can’t sense it,” Princess Jinrou said as she opened her eyes.
Chu Mu’s expression sank slightly. If they couldn’t sense it, finding the Light King in Seal Valley was almost impossible.
“My sensing technique can cover the vast majority of Seal Valley. If I can’t sense it, it means it’s in some place with spatial prohibition,” Princess Jinrou pointed at the continuous Array Diagram of the Array of Light, “It should be inside the array.”
“Alright, Martial Cloud Dragon, please take us there,” said Chu Mu.
Martial Cloud Dragon nodded, spread its wings, and after Chu Mu and Princess Jinrou were securely seated, it glided down from the extremely high mountain top.
Martial Cloud Dragon did not flap its wings frequently, but its wings were powerful. The speed of Aerial Flight of the Winged System Overlord was fully displayed, quickly leaving the mountain top behind in the distance.
…
…
On a mountain peak a hundred meters high, a man with his entire face covered in Dragon Patterns stood there, his expression cold and formidable.
Behind him stood four men, each with a Dragon Pattern on their forehead, motionless like four statues.
Before him knelt eight people, led by the one with a Snake Pattern on her cheek, She Protector. The remaining seven were all kneeling, their faces nearly touching the Ground.
“Good, good. For a single young Martial Cloud Dragon pet, you’ve lost five Immortal Serpent Dragons. You really have outdone yourselves!” The man with Dragon Patterns on his face twitched at the corners of his mouth.
The kneeling people were filled with fear and unease. Their Master was a cold-hearted killer. Who in the Monster Beast Palace wouldn’t know of Zeng Long’s name?
Snake Dragon Sect Master, Western Protector of Monster Beast Palace; a figure of such caliber had the power of life and death over billions wherever he went, even Immortal Level beings had to lower their Proud heads before him.
“Master, we almost had it, but halfway through, someone suddenly appeared and disrupted our formation,” She Protector tried to explain.
Zeng Long’s gaze sharpened, and suddenly a Golden Poisonous Python shot out, instantly coiling around She Protector’s neck, silencing her mid-sentence.
She Protector’s face turned crimson with strain, veins on the verge of bursting.
Her eyes were filled with fear and pleading, begging the Master to spare her.
“Hmph, I don’t want to hear your excuses. If it weren’t for the fact that we’re short-handed in this Seal Valley conflict, I would’ve already made you and your Soul Pets into Food for my Golden Snake!” Zeng Long roared.
“Yes, yes, we won’t make any more mistakes,” She Protector gasped for air before quickly responding.
“Do what we have to do, then leave immediately. Whoever wants to be buried with this World, I will oblige!” Zeng Long said coldly.
“Master, the people from Divine Sect have all arrived,” one of the Dragon Pattern men behind Zeng Long spoke.
“Yeah, let’s meet with them first.”

…
Martial Cloud Dragon landed heavily amidst the Array of Light in the Light Valley, and finding the Light King in this intricate Array Valley would not be an easy task, as Princess Jinrou’s senses were clearly restricted within this Formation Diagram.
Chu Mu had Martial Cloud Dragon descend here because he spotted a group of people dressed in odd attire, all of their faces masked, their faction unknown.
These individuals seemed to have just entered the Seal Valley, and from the direction in which they were walking, they did not appear to have entered through the rear mountain entrance of the Divine Sect.
Chu Mu did not follow too closely. Whispering a spell, a faint Holy Blue Color light gleamed around him.
“What’s that smell? It’s so fragrant?” Princess Jinrou asked.
“That’s the scent of the Good and evil demon girl.” Chu Mu replied.
The fragrance drifted with the wind towards the cautious masked individuals. After Chu Mu quietly waited for a while, suddenly a figure darted towards them.
Martial Cloud Dragon, sensing the approach of the living creature, turned its eyes fierce and Ling Li, ready to strike with its Claws.
The figure was startled and hastily tried to dodge.
“Martial Cloud Dragon, do not Attack. It’s one of our own,” Chu Mu urgently called out to Martial Cloud Dragon.
Although Martial Cloud Dragon did not understand human language, it seemed to comprehend and slowly retraced its Claws.
The figure was already drenched in cold sweat, not expecting the Lord to be accompanied by such a terrifying member of the Dragon Race. Just a fraction slower, and he would have been killed on the spot.
“Lord,” the masked individual approached Chu Mu, respectfully performing a Gift.
“Your identity,” Chu Mu inquired.
“Subordinate is a direct member under Wan Zhong – Leng Lou, responsible for the Assassination missions around Struggle Capital and gathering information from several major sects, including this operation of the sects entering Seal Valley,” the man claiming to be Leng Lou said.
Leng Lou was a member of the Dark Sect, loyal to Wan Zhong.
Wan Zhong was the Rudderman of the Dark Sect encountered earlier in Cloud Realm City, presumably having emerged from the same place as Yu Suo and fallen into obscurity before re-entering her vast Invisible Kingdom to serve.
Wan Zhong’s Position in the shadows had since been promoted beyond that of just a Rudderman.
“Is Wan Zhong the leader of your group entering Seal Valley this time?” Chu Mu asked.
“Returning to the Lord, Lord Wan Zhong is at the southern end; this time, leading us, nine Dark Sect members, is Lord Tian Lu,” Leng Lou answered.
“Who is Tian Lu?” Chu Mu continued to ask.
“Are you aware of the incident at the North End?”
Chu Mu nodded.
“He is the orchestrator behind the incident at the North End,” Leng Lou stated.
A shock ran through Chu Mu’s heart; this murderer was actually in the Seal Valley!
The horrendous nature of the North End incident had spread across all of Struggle Land, and Chu Mu had not expected this individual to have made it to the Seal Valley.
“What is Tian Lu’s purpose for leading you here?” Chu Mu asked.
“According to Lord Tian Lu’s intentions, we are to kill without mercy anyone from other Powers. This may be related to the Monument Weepers since there has been word that many Monument Weepers have entered Seal Valley through other means, followed by the Fake Monument Weepers…” Leng Lou spoke.
Indeed, it was related to the Monument Weepers. Perhaps the Monument Tears had sent out a warning to nearby Monument Weepers to enter Seal Valley and rescue the Light King.
Clearly, Chu Mu wasn’t the only one anxious for the Light King; other Monument Weepers had also taken action.
And those wishing to obtain Monument Tears, the Fake Monument Weepers, had received the news and swarmed into Seal Valley with the goal of Killing the Monument Weepers and gaining the Monument Tears…
“This place has turned into a battlefield!” Chu Mu remarked with a sigh.
The sensing abilities of the Monument Tears were also restricted in Seal Valley, with no one knowing who the true or fake Monument Weepers were. The situation was bound to become more chaotic.
“I must return now. If detected by Lord Tian Lu, my life would be in jeopardy,” Leng Lou said.
“Yeah, go ahead,” Chu Mu nodded.
Leng Lou glanced warily at Martial Cloud Dragon before turning into a black shadow, swiftly vanishing in front of Chu Mu.
After Leng Lou left, Princess Jinrou looked at Chu Mu with puzzled beautiful eyes.
She didn’t understand how Chu Mu became involved with members of the Dark Sect, and the man called Leng Lou even addressed Chu Mu as Master.
“He’s an underling of Yu Suo’s underling; now, in Struggle Land, New Moon Land holds power in the open while Yu Suo’s Kingdom controls from the shadows, complementing each other, which accelerates growth significantly,” Chu Mu explained.
“New Moon Land acknowledges you as King, and you are also the Master of the Invisible Kingdom. Doesn’t that make you the hidden powerhouse of Struggle Continent now?” Princess Jinrou said with a smile.
Chu Mu shook his head and replied, “Compared to those Major Powers, both New Moon Land and the Invisible Kingdom are still very weak. Look at the Monster Beast Palace; just one of its factions can command so many Immortal Level Powerhouses.” (to be continued.
