Chapter 1370 - Chapter 1370 Chapter 1233 The Unruly Ocean Dominator Level 7

Chapter 1370: Chapter 1233: The Unruly Ocean, Dominator Level 7 Waves Chapter 1370: Chapter 1233: The Unruly Ocean, Dominator Level 7 Waves Chu Mu felt a trace of unease in his heart for an unknown reason.

This unease stemmed from his soul contract with Ye.

If the connection with Ye could be likened to a thread, then now this thread had delved into a pitch-dark world. Chu Mu could only see the thread disappearing into the darkness, but he had no idea where it actually extended or even if the thread had snapped–he wasn’t entirely sure.

The feeling was strange; even when Zhan Ye and Little Hiding Dragon left, Chu Mu hadn’t felt this way.

What exactly was that pitch-dark world, and what was the hint of icy coolness that it transmitted?

Standing on the deck, Chu Mu stared off into the distant nightfall, dotted with stars, and the ocean, his heart gradually being enveloped in layers of concern.

“Wuu wuu wuu~~~~~”

Little Mo Xie was perched on Chu Mu’s shoulder and let out a faint whimper, comforting Chu Mu.

“Yeah, no matter what that place is, we’ll find it!” Chu Mu said softly, as he gently squeezed Little Mo Xie’s fluffy ears.

Sailing could be quite monotonous, and Chu Mu poured out many books from his Space Ring, beginning to read them one by one.

He had spent most of his past on land and was very weak in his knowledge of the ocean. Now, he could make up for these gaps while traveling on the ocean, and moreover, he had Master Li, a know-it-all elder, beside him who was constantly feeding him information about the ocean.

After sailing for more than two months, the White Sea Beast had truly entered the Henghai.

The map indicated that the ocean was home to billions of creatures, and it wouldn’t be surprising if a Dominator-level creature inadvertently appeared.

“Huuuuuuh~~~~~~~~~~”

The sea breeze grew stronger, occasionally scattering the wind protections put up by the Wind-binding Spirit, who had to constantly reinforce the White Sea Beast with a wind shield to avoid the fragile ship being shattered by the terrifying gales and colossal waves.

Sang Ying had already modified the ship’s exterior. Its defensive capability could now roughly match that of a Low-grade Beast System Sovereign, but the waves and winds of the ocean remained the greatest threat to the ship, especially given the corrosion mixed in the wind and the vibrations in the waves. If it had been the original White Sea Beast, it would have probably become wreckage upon the sea long ago.

“Rumble rumble rumble!!!!!!!!!”

A barrier, as wide as the heavens themselves, suddenly appeared at the end of the ever-growing ocean, topped with gray waves!

The wave was unimaginably high; if it were on the coastline, it could probably swallow an entire Boundary City with a single swell!

Such a gargantuan wave was no less impressive than a Water System Sovereign-level creature’s skill. Sang Ying’s expression darkened as he watched the wild wave cover the sky.

“Our White Sea Beast’s defenses are not enough to withstand the impact of such large waves, we need to find a way to get through, or we’ll be adrift at sea,” Sang Ying said seriously to everyone.

Without saying much, Xia Zhixian immediately summoned her Deep Sea Spirit.

The Deep Sea Spirit started chanting a spell, and the tumultuous surrounding waves gradually calmed, eventually hovering mysteriously and forming layers of water curtains around the White Sea Beast.

The water curtains circulated constantly around the White Sea Beast, forming a low-grade Master Level water shield, strong enough to withstand any blow from a low-grade Master Level creature.

“Bad news, it’s a double wave; the one behind is even higher!” Sang Ying’s voice came again.

Chu Mu immediately looked over and indeed, behind the monstrous wave was another even higher wave that truly obscured Heaven itself. Even though it was a thousand kilometers away, one could already feel the oppressive spray hitting the face!

Taking a deep breath, the air was full of the smell of seawater. Morning Crown Prince looked up to see the towering wave emerging; his expression froze as well.

In front of this wave, the White Sea Beast was as insignificant as dust!

It was impossible to disperse the waves; even with High Master Level power, Chu Mu couldn’t stop such a terrifying wave from swallowing everything in its path.

Sang Ying’s complexion didn’t look good at this moment. He had crossed countless oceans, many of them notoriously vicious, where the climate, weather, and waves were wildly untamable.

However, compared to this Henghai, those oceans were truly tame!

Which sea can generate waves two thousand kilometers wide? This was clearly even more terrifying than a tsunami!

“This first wave is at least at Dominator Level 5, the second one is Dominator Level 7, my god!” Sang Ying, watching the approaching waves, shouted.

Dominator Level 7, this wave was more fearsome than a High-level Master’s skill!!

The waves were getting closer; when the first wave crashed over, the entire ship was thrown into the air. The seawater opened like a giant beast’s mouth, swallowing the White Sea Beast in one gulp, laughable as the ship couldn’t even fill the crevices between the beast’s teeth!

“Boom!!!!!!!!”

The White Sea Beast tossed and turned amid the waves. Xia Zhixian’s water curtain defense was directly shattered, but the thrust of the wave continued, tossing the ship violently, sending it flying who knows how high before it came crashing down onto the ocean surface.

“Crack!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

It seemed as if the bottom of the ship shattered on impact; Chu Mu saw bits of debris falling into the water.

Sang Ying’s expression darkened even more upon witnessing this scene.

This was still just the first wave. If the second one hit, wouldn’t the ship be completely destroyed?

“Should we abandon the ship?” Chu Mu glanced at the second terrifying wave rapidly approaching.

The crest of the second wave already hung in the sky above the White Sea Beast, and it seemed that it would take several minutes just to crash down.

“We must abandon it; the ship can’t possibly withstand this,” Ying Sang concluded decisively.

Everyone dared not hesitate and quickly summoned their Soul Pets,

“It seems too late!” Sang Ying, observing the colossal wave about to crash down from the sky, turned pale to the extreme.

A Dominator Level 7 wave, this meant that the wave could even swallow up High-level Master Creatures!

“I’ll hold it off for a while, you all escape from the range of the waves,” said Princess Jinrou, as she floated up, daringly flying alone towards the vast wave.

“Don’t!” Sang Ying knew the sea all too well.

The force of nature was always overwhelmingly dominant. Even Water-type High Master creatures, if slightly careless, would struggle to survive such a wave, let alone directly resist it!

“You all escape first,” Chu Mu told Sang Ying earnestly.

Sang Ying knew that more words were pointless now and immediately took control of his Water-type soul pet, taking Xia Zhixian and Morning Crown Prince to flee in the opposite direction–with enough speed, they might escape.

Of course, Chu Mu couldn’t let Princess Jinrou face the giant wave alone. His body blazed with Silver Demon Flame as he closely followed her.

Princess Jinrou swept her gaze, and even as she lifted her head, what she saw was still the raging waves rolling to the sky.

Princess Jinrou herself was just an ordinary Soul Pet Master; facing such a level of the wave, she couldn’t help feeling nervous and afraid.

She closed her eyes and began to recite the Magic Spirit’s incantation.

However, with the roar of the waves sounding like thunder beside her ear and the shockwaves buffeting her ghostly body, she found it extremely difficult to focus and complete the spell.

“You focus on your incantation; I’ll protect you.” Just then, Chu Mu, engulfed in Demon Flame, stood in front of Princess Jinrou.

His tall and virile silhouette rendered Princess Jinrou momentarily spellbound. Though Chu Mu appeared diminutive against the towering wave, his presence quickly calmed Princess Jinrou’s heart.

Princess Jinrou closed her eyes, lips moving rapidly, as streams of ancient Magic Spirit incantations floated from her mouth.

Her hair and dress, thrown into disarray by the force of the waves, began to settle as she continued the incantation. The mist splashing her surroundings mysteriously halted, turning into visible beads of water which drifted slowly past.

“Ying~~~~~~~~~~” Princess Jinrou let out a high and elongated chant!

A ghastly blue energy diffused in front of Princess Jinrou, and the monstrous wave poised to engulf her was impacted by this force and suddenly froze in place!

The unstoppable wave appeared as though it had frozen solid, with not even a drop of water falling.

At that moment, Princess Jinrou’s dark hair started to flutter, and her shaking virtual blue dress further accentuated her graceful form. Against the backdrop of the terrifying waves, she looked like a goddess of the sea, breathtakingly beautiful and full of authority!

“Oh, the wave has stopped!!!” Far away, Sang Ying, Xia Zhixian, and Morning Crown Prince turned back to see this and were utterly shocked!

The wave’s impact was incredibly terrifying; even several High Master creatures would be dispersed in one blow. Such a giant wave had actually stopped, and it was by a ghostly woman!

“Let’s go, I can’t hold on for much longer!” Princess Jinrou’s voice drifted to the three.

They didn’t dare to pause and quickly rushed out of the wave’s range, then immediately headed for the sky.

Chu Mu looked back at Princess Jinrou, who was becoming more transparent by the second.

A ghostly body turning transparent and pale, which signified weakening.

Chu Mu couldn’t just stand by and watch; he immediately recited a spell and deployed the Reverse Flow Space to delay the time it would take for the wave to crash down.

“They’ve reached a safe place. Let’s leave,” Chu Mu said to Princess Jinrou.

Princess Jinrou nodded.

Her hair slowly fell, and at that moment, the suspended water droplets also began to fall slowly.

“Rumble, rumble, rumble, rumble!!!!!!”

The waves resumed their violent and fierce nature and surged toward Chu Mu and Princess Jinrou.

Chu Mu protected Princess Jinrou and headed for the edge of the wave’s reach at top speed…
