Chapter 263 - 263: Visit to Kraus

"So many problems!" sighed Idan.

He had to give Coco three more candies in order to take the photo from her and get a promise that she would not tell or show Arabel what had happened.

In a short period of time, he had already given Coco six candies, and thus, Idan had run out of candies. Next time, he will have to spend 100 System Points to buy a new package.

However, Idan still felt anxious and somewhat distrustful of Coco.

As a member of the Untouchables Guild, Kraus lived in luxury. His room consisted of a separate living room, a huge double bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. Even a separate bar with drinks was provided.

Idan, watching Kraus from behind, thought about it. He had a great chance to get rid of Kraus without too much fuss and quickly leave. However, his curiosity about the New People Guild got the better of him, and Idan decided to take a chance.

Leaving Coco with Ned and asking the latter, through a contract, to discreetly erect a barrier and stay alert, Idan took off his winter clothes and sent them to his storage. Then he calmly walked over to Kraus and sat next to him in front of the bar.

After hearing Idan's reply, Kraus couldn't think of anyone who even remotely resembled him. But then, eyes wide with disbelief, he asked:

"Is that you? The one the Leader was talking about?" asked Kraus with excitement in his voice.

Idan just smiled mysteriously, neither confirming nor denying it.

Kraus, looking at Idan's smile, became more and more convinced that this was exactly the same person in front of him, not suspecting that this was not exactly who he thought he was.

Idan, realizing that he could no longer just sit in silence, decided to take a chance.:

"You mean the one the Guild Leader New People was talking about? Maybe, maybe not."

Kraus's eyes widened, and he immediately believed that this was the right person. Only the Guild Leader knew that Kraus belonged to the New People Guild.

Kraus abruptly stood up, knelt down, lowered his head, and with great respect and fear in his voice said:

"What the hell!" exclaimed Idan, looking in surprise at Kraus, who knelt in front of him.
