"You...what are you doing here? Who let you come here!" Long Wu shivered as he shouted.

Chen Fan snorted coldly and kicked Long Wu aside with a foot, then he swiftly took down all the people who surrounded Shen Lingdie.

He looked down at the panic-stricken Shen Lingdie, "Are you alright?"

At that moment, Shen Lingdie seemed like a child who, after being excessively frightened, suddenly saw her own parent, her lips quivering as she began to cry pitifully, then she threw her arms around Chen Fan, venting the fear in her heart.

Chen Fan patted her back and said, "Don’t cry, it’s all over now."

Tian Ying, rubbing her wrists, stood up from the bed and sized up Chen Fan, muttering to herself, "I didn’t expect someone would really come to rescue Miss Shen, but this guy looks too ordinary. Aside from being able to fight, he doesn’t seem to have any other remarkable traits. How come Miss Shen is so close to him? I’ve never seen her so out of control in front of anyone."

Shen Lingdie nodded and walked out of the room with Tian Ying.

Chen Fan approached Long Wu and after looking him over a few times, asked, "Who are you guys?"

Long Wu, now full of fear, blurted out with bravado, "I’ll tell you, we belong to the Qinglong Gang. You can go around and ask about the Qinglong Gang’s reputation in this area; murder, arson, rape, and pillage are things we do often, you simply can’t afford to provoke us. I’d advise you to scram quickly, or you won’t know how you died!"

Chen Fan raised an eyebrow, "So, you’re admitting that you’re not good people, then I don’t need to have any concerns."

Long Wu’s pupils shrank, "What...what are you going to do?"

Chen Fan shrugged his shoulders and said, "I never had designs on her."

He always treated Shen Lingdie more like his little sister.

Chen Fan changed the subject, "First, tell me what happened to you guys, your problems must be more than just those people just now, right?"

Tian Ying said, "Find us a hotel first. Once we settle down, we’ll talk about the rest."

The three of them stepped onto the roadside.

Qi Heng was waiting here.

When he saw Chen Fan come out with Shen Lingdie and Tian Ying, he hurriedly greeted them.

Chen Fan said to Qi Heng, "They both need to book a hotel, and since you’re more familiar with this place, you can make the arrangements."

Qi Heng nodded and said, "We also need to book a hotel, so let’s do it together. I’ll just book four rooms directly; that way, it’s convenient for everyone, how about that?"

Chen Fan nodded.

Shen Lingdie said, "No need to book one for Chen Fan."

Qi Heng was taken aback for a moment and looked from Shen Lingdie to Chen Fan, thinking that the Miss of the Shen family wouldn’t just use Fan to help out and then kick him to the curb, would she?
