Supreme Electromagnetic Tyrant -
Chapter 630 - 398 Star Armor Master
Chapter 630: Chapter 398 Star Armor Master
Thunder roared.
Ji Xinghuo streaked through the ruins like lightning, emitting explosive sound waves.
Some of the already decaying buildings collapsed under the force of the sound waves, crashing down onto the ground from above and causing a chain reaction, echoing loudly throughout the cavern.
However, he had been flying for more than ten minutes, and the energy monster still hadn’t appeared.
"Where did it go?"
Ji Xinghuo stopped midair.
His gaze continued to search around. After advancing his "Electromagnetic Oscillation," his electromagnetic induction had not only increased significantly in range but had also become much more sensitive. The ruins, shrouded in dark energy interference, were initially very blurry, but now they had cleared up again.
Although the radius of his sensing was still suppressed to about a kilometer, it was enough.
It was much better than before.
While the Wanxiang Star Pupil could see through shadows, Ji Xinghuo still hadn’t found a trace of the monster. Instead, he discovered many dark-feeders.
"Is it that smart?"
He couldn’t help but think that his conspicuous actions had made the monster suspicious, so it refrained from attacking.
"This guy is even craftier than I thought," Ji Xinghuo immediately changed his strategy, no longer flying around aimlessly. He landed to hunt down the dark-feeders, "I don’t believe you can keep hiding forever."
With partial recovery of his electromagnetic induction, his efficiency in finding dark-feeders improved.
Ji Xinghuo immediately locked onto a group of dark-feeders, over a dozen of them, lurking underneath a stretch of continuous building ruins.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...
He flew straight over there, raising the plasma pistol and firing.
He had just shot down two dark-feeders when the rest of the creatures surrounded him from all sides, jumping and traversing through the shadows, both near and far.
As they launched their attack simultaneously, Ji Xinghuo’s eyes burst with electric light.
Boom!
Nine bolts of spiritual energy lightning struck down from the sky. Each bolt’s power varied, forming and striking in just an instant. Each dark-feeder was hit by a bolt on the head, timing and angles differing, but the outcome was the same.
The nine ambushing dark-feeders were almost simultaneously struck dead.
Their heads exploded, their bodies charred, their flesh and blood looked as though they had been incinerated, utterly lifeless.
The lightning faded all at once.
Each bolt of lightning was precise enough to kill their targets, not a bit more, not a bit less, without any waste.
Ji Xinghuo appeared relaxed.
This was the new height he had reached in controlling electrical attacks, merging spiritual energy after initially mastering electromagnetic waves from the advance in "Electromagnetic Oscillation."
Released faster, more powerful, and completely under his control.
Within the 300-meter range of his electromagnetic wave control, he was the king of thunder and lightning!
"Feels good..." Ji Xinghuo sighed, then began to collect Alien Species. The dark-feeders looked terribly mutilated but, in fact, he had finely controlled the killing force, not damaging the Alien Species.
After collection, he continued his hunt.
Ji Xinghuo’s hunting efficiency in the ruins greatly increased, and in less than half an hour, he had taken out three groups of dark-feeders.
The spiritual origin ability he had just depleted had risen to over 600 points.
The dark-feeders he had hunted were just a tiny portion of all in the ruins, and Ji Xinghuo estimated there were over fifteen thousand dark-feeders in the ruins!
The spiritual origin ability of the dark-feeders was two to three times that of ordinary monsters outside.
On average, each one was worth about 20 points of spiritual origin ability.
If he cleared out these ruins, he could total up to 300,000 points of spiritual origin ability, or even more.
"300,000!"
"That’s almost enough to raise my Electromagnetic Oscillation to the next level!"
Ji Xinghuo felt fired up and immediately plunged back into the hunt.
He soon found that the dark-feeders in the ruins were avoiding him, but it was all in vain; regardless of where they hid—underground, in the air, within the shadows, or any nooks and crannies—he could find them and easily catch up and finish them off.
The sound of gunfire and thunder resounded frequently in the ruins.
Three hours later.
Under his unrestrained hunting, Ji Xinghuo had accumulated nearly 4,000 more points of spiritual origin ability. Any dark-feeders he found were doomed.
Just after he had eliminated a group of dark-feeders and was collecting Alien Species, Ji Xinghuo’s peripheral vision suddenly twitched.
"Here it comes!"
"Finally couldn’t resist any longer!"
He pretended to be unaware and continued cutting, yet his attention locked on a spot over seven hundred meters away in midair, where a fist-sized outline suddenly appeared in the shadows, silently gliding towards him.
If it had been before, Ji Xinghuo wouldn’t have been able to detect it and would have had to wait for the monster to attack before the Wanxiang Star Pupil issued a warning.
Now that part of his electromagnetic induction had recovered, it had nowhere to hide.
And it was still unaware.
As the monster glided close through the shadows, Ji Xinghuo finished collecting one corpse and stood walking towards another dark-feeder, his back to the direction of the monster, using his body to block its line of sight while conjuring a ball of spherical lightning in his right palm.
Lots of star power converted into charge infused within it, Ji Xinghuo concentrated control, keeping the volume of the spherical lightning from becoming too large.
The energy fluctuations were also restrained, masked from detection.
Even the spark of lightning was faint.
All this was completed within two to three seconds, and the monster, completely oblivious, approached from behind, and soon entered the range of electromagnetic wave control.
When it was a little over two hundred meters away from Ji Xinghuo, its body suddenly expanded, revealing a human silhouette about to attack. Ji Xinghuo took the initiative, disappearing in an instant, moving several dozen meters closer. His empty left hand reached out towards the creature.
The monster’s form halted for a moment.
At its location, the surrounding air, light, and all material seemed to come under Ji Xinghuo’s sway as electromagnetic oscillation burst forth in a spectrum of colors, everything seemingly disintegrating, starting to collapse.
