Chapter 208 - 208: Onwards To Spada Valley, Rare Item

"T-That's…." The bald man stammered, and his eyes glanced at the hanging necklace with a tiny golden spear attached to it.

"Interesting," Lilith grabbed the spear necklace and broke the string. "Its aura is so reserved you can't passively tell that this item is a special one."

"I'll need some time to unlock this," Lilith muttered, focusing on the miniature golden spear.

"P-please spare me," the bald man pleaded, fear of death evident in his eyes. He didn't want to die, just like others.

Erix smiled at him and slapped his head, "Then why did you come here to block us? To invite us for a feast?"

"T-That…"

Erix's eyes flashed a faint dark purple before the man was wrapped into a dark purple flame with inky black sparks.

"This is the offensive use of Nihilir I found. Pure destruction."

"Arghhhhh!!"

When the Flame element and Death element had higher concentrations in Nihilir, like in the Nihilir energy that wrapped the bald man, the destruction was unique.

The bald man didn't feel hot. Instead, this Nihilir element was utterly cold, so cold that it directly pierced his soul and made him feel death clearly before it acted on his body from within.

Soon, it turned the bald man's body into specs of ashes, including everything he wore, in just a few seconds.

But this was just a crude use of Nihilir that Erix tried to check its raw offensive power, which used more Mana for less effect, less potency, and less utility due to not using the energy through proper magic formations.

"That was fast," Rin raised her eyebrows. "Erix, we have to fight in the Arena when we return to Earth."

"Definitely," Erix laughed.

They couldn't seriously fight each other, but after returning to Earth, they could use the Arena function to go all out against each other.

"Also, I got an idea," Erix grinned. "I'll make something called Nihilir Cores."

"For what?" Rin curiously asked.

"They'll be like a concentrated form of Nihilir energy. But to use them, I'll also need to modify my existing skills and frames like Gauntlets and both forms of Metal Diabolcus."

"Anyway, I'll be able to do that in our next session of Limitless Plane."

"Yeah, I also need to make changes to use my Chronace Flow," Rin nodded.

"We'll enter once we reach our destination."

Neither of them had incorporated their Super Exotic Elements into their main frame combat styles/skills yet because they would at least need one session for Limitless Plane to do that.

"You two are fast."

Lily soon arrived with two Hunter cards of the powerhouses she killed.

"We were against small fries," Rin shrugged.

Klelia weakly smiled upon hearing her. Any Noble-order powerhouse could be considered a small fry against Rin and Erix.

"Do they have something good?" Erix asked as he glanced at the Hunter Cards of Royal-order men Lily killed.

"My powers mistakenly destroyed their Hunter Cards, but I doubt they would have anything useful," Erix added.

"We don't have, so they wouldn't," Rin said with a laugh and added, "I also didn't bother about their hunter cards."

"These two had some resources, but none that can help you two," Lily said before she threw the cards at Klelia.

"Take them. The things inside should be useful to you."

Klelia grabbed them and used her spirit sense to check the things inside one before her eyes immediately shined.

"Elemental Slabs of Earth and Fire!"

Lily smiled, "Check the other card."

Klelia quickly did that, and her bunny ears instantly perked up.

"More Elemental Slabs of Water and Wind?!"

"T-This…." Klelia knew that these resources could help her progress, but they were valuable.

"It's fine. These two are relatively poor, and these fruits are only useful to you," Lily waved her hand.

"But you also have..." Klelia looked at Lily and Rin.

"Elemental Slabs?" Rin raised her eyebrows, "but they are not useful if you have 3rd realm affinity. I don't need the Wind slab. You keep it."

"Yep. The water one is also useless for me," Lily chuckled, "I am in 4th realm already."

"Thank you," Klelia bowed in gratitude. "I didn't do anything, but I still got these things…"

"You aren't going anywhere yet," Lilith suddenly said as she opened her eyes.

"What did you find?" Erix curiously asked, looking at the faintly glowing tiny golden spear.

"It's a special item crafted for just one purpose," Lilith smiled as she snapped her finger. Prana infused into the tiny spear before a golden spear adorned with stylish patterns formed above her.

"That…"

Rin, Erix, and Lily used their spiritual sense and found, to their astonishment, that it felt like a mystical mix of Prana and Spiritual Force.

"So that attack is a Spiritual Attack?" Erix raised his eyebrows. "Although my wisp couldn't block the attack, I intended to teleport it, and the spear just passed through it."

"Yep," Lilith nodded. "Because this spiritual skill has the effect of two concepts and a concept-attribute of Light while the skill's elemental structure is made of Light and Metal elements."

"What kind of concepts?" Rin asked.

"I haven't seen one of it before, but from what I observed, it should be a 'Target' concept," Lilith thoughtfully said as he nodded. "Yep, Target is the best word. The second concept applied to it was Speed."

"The spear passed through your Nihilir Wisp for two reasons. First, Your spiritual force that was enhancing that Nihilir Wisp was weaker, so the second reason appeared: The Target concept took effect after winning that bout, allowing it to bypass things between it and its 'Target'. So, it proceeded to strike you with quick burst speed."

"Yeah, I used the amount of Spiritual Force I needed to win against their skills," Erix nodded. "But that Item-skill had more spirit force on top of that guy adding his own. Its speed was faster than I expected, so I couldn't do more."

"Jeez, these types of items can be fatal if used correctly," Rin crossed her arms. "What if Lilith made an item like that? It could probably kill a Royal-order powerhouse if used properly during a fight."

"True," Lily chuckled.

Klelia felt she would be happy to receive such an item.

"It's hard to make these types of items," Lilith narrowed her eyes at the tiny golden spear. "This is not from here, that's for sure. Also, it's made to be a limited-use item, and it can't be used anymore."

"So that guy used it on me as a last resort," Erix wryly smiled, "It struck me, but it wasn't powerful enough to kill me."

Lilith nodded and handed the tiny spear to Erix, smiling, "You two can try to see if you can learn from it using your Spiritual Mystic Eye."

"Great idea," Rin nodded with shining eyes. She was interested if she could learn from it.

"Yep. Now, let's go. We should reach our destination in the next hour."

Everyone went back on the flying ship as Lilith continued to the Spada Valley.

While Erix and the gang went to the Spada Valley, the guests and hunters that Rat-king invited also fluxed in the Fallen Land.

"The targets are in Spada Valley. Send more bounty hunters there, more in number!" the Rat-king ordered his subordinates, a whirling dark glint passing through his eyes. 'Spada Valley is even a better choice.'

'Since you are the bringer of death, Dark Queen Lilith, you must bring me a mountain of death for my lord's awakening!'

'With his blessing and support, I'll rise and return to my world...to that forsaken place and make it mine.'
