SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS -
Chapter 73 - 73: Nervous Fatty
Kent stood before Mohini who is in the old lady form, a sense of gratitude swelling inside him. With a respectful stance, Kent bowed to the old lady and said, "Thank you for everything, Madam. I really don't know how to repay your favor."
Mohini, who is the old lady, smiled at his words. "Don't be a Senti. What I did was just to let time pass. So, stop boring me with your emotional words." Mohini said in a careless tone. But inside, she is happily grinning.
Kent straightened, meeting her gaze with sincerity. "As I'm running late, I will take my leave now. If we meet next time, I will definitely treat you to a big meal, madam." Kent said while preparing to mount the fire Kirin.
Mohini waved off his words with a modest chuckle. "Oh, it was nothing. Be safe on your journey, and don't shame this lady by losing the competition."
As Kent prepared to leave, the old lady offered to accompany him back, her smile carrying a hint of pride. "I already took a lot of your time. I don't want to burden you anymore." Kent denied her offer graciously, explaining that he was running late for the competition and needed to leave immediately.
With a swift motion, Kent mounted his fire Kirin, feeling the familiar rush of exhilaration as they ascended into the air.
As they soared through the sky, Kent whispered his worries and concerns to his fiery companion, the crimson flames flickering and dancing in response to his emotions. With a blazing crimson fire, the Fire Kirin dashed towards the Sky Family Arena.
While staring at the leaving Kent, Mohini transformed back to her original form, where the shining green coloured long dress began dancing to the wind. With a charming smile, she lifted the old stick, which turned into a shining white staff.
As Lambu hurriedly changed from a fat pig to a black serpentine form, Mohini mounted her pet and flew into the high sky, trailing behind Kent.

Sky family, Magus school...
The entire arena is filled with disciples, and a cheering noise is reverberating all around. Fatty Ben closed his stall and waited at the entrance gate with a nervous look. He is walking back and forth of the arena while checking the time left on the aura glass (the big display of the arena).
"Only 69 instances left... where did he go?!" Fatty muttered in a nervous tone. If Kent didn't reach in time, the winner will be declared, and Fatty will need to pay the gambling amount to all the bidders as it is considered a forfeit by Kent.
[69 instances = 138 seconds, or 2 minutes and 18 seconds]
"Damn…! It's 333 fucking gold coins. If Kent forfeits, I might need to sell the last remaining property to pay off the bidders. My father will definitely hang me at the family gate." Ben muttered while imagining a visual of his fat, dead body hanging at the family gate.
"30 instances left. This is the last call for Kent Clark. If he is not here before 30 instances, Arul will be declared the winner." Master Chen, who stood at the center of the arena, shouted in an amplified tone.
A loud boo sounded as disciples made fun of the situation after hearing Kent name. Almost 90% of the school bid their coins against Kent. The red fox and his lackeys were enjoying the show while staring at the fatty who stood at the entrance door and roamed like a burnt pig.
"Thank God, at least he will be safe." Thea, who stood at the northeast corner, felt relief, thinking that Kent is going to forfeit the match with his absence.
Behind Thea, on the top, the family members of the Sky family sat with uneasy faces. The patriarch, who sat beside elder Sinara of the Autumn Wind sect, maintained an awkward smile.
"Patriarch Sky, it seems like your disciples are treating this competition as a joke. You better call for the next pair to start the competition." Zumi, the disciple who came with Elder Sinara, spoke in a mocking tone.
Patriarch Sky smiled awkwardly, called his servant, and ordered him to pass the same message to Master Chen, who is coordinating the fight.
With 13 instances left, young master Arul, holding his short staff, stood on the south side of the arena, waiting for the opponent. A confident smile played on his lips as he leisurely checked out the glass orb.
Master Chen, who received the message of servant, took out his wand and stared at the Aurora glass to declare the winner.
Sitting on top of a fire Kirin Kent crossed the school gate, constantly checking out the running clock on the school forum.
"It seems like I will reach barely in time. I better declare my arrival before stepping into the arena. Kent muttered, taking out the Victor bow from his bracelet.
Holding the bow before him horizontally, aimed at the sky space of Arena, which is very distant from him.
"VACCUS DISSOLVO IMPETUM"
Just as the number touched three instances, Master Chen opened his mouth to announce the winner. But suddenly…
"Boom…"
A loud sonic boom rang above the arena, shuddering all the disciples. As Kent fired a defense arrow spell, only a loud sound reverberated, attracting everyone's gaze.
"What's that?!"
A disturbed clamor emerged, and Master Chen hurriedly shouted for everyone to calm down. As there is no danger, the elders didn't jump into action.
"He is here... Young Master Kent is here... Don't declare the winner."
Fatty Ben, raising his hands high in the air, came running inside the arena with loud shouts. With his short sleeveless, golden coloured shirt, Ben looked like an envoy with a funny face as he ran almost to the center of the arena, shouting Kent's name.
"He is here... Master Chen, don't declare the winner." Ben shouted with all his might.
Master Chen frowned, staring at the crying face of Ben, who was shedding happy tears with great excitement.
Before Master Chen could say anything, a loud noise of fire Kirin screeched as Kent raided the fire Kirin entered the arena and ran towards Master Chen at wind speed. With a blazing fires, the Kirin ran like a cheetah towards the centre of the Arena.
"Master, is that a fire, Kirin?" Zumi, who stood beside elder Sinara, asked in a surprised tone while staring at Kent with wide, open eyes.
Thea, who stood at one corner, came running towards the center with her gaze locked on Kent.
