SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS
Chapter 64 - 64: I Need A Face Mask

Silver Plaza…

Kent stood before the grand entrance of the silver plaza, where several people were moving in and out. It is the best food place in silver leaf city, famous for morning delights.

Today, Kent wore black and black with matching ornaments that came along with the set. He felt little awkward as several people were staring at his face without feeling shy.

Some mature ladies purposefully walked closer to him, deliberately hitting his shoulder and apologizing to him with shy laughter.

Trying to act as polite as possible, Kent moved inside the silver plaza. Several square tables were lined on one side, with neat silver wear adorning each table.

Kent saw Thea waiting for him at the last table. Adjusting his collar, Kent walked towards her with a confident stature.

"Young man, I'm alone here. Can you join me?" Suddenly, a lady with mature looks stopped Kent with an extended hand.

"Sorry, my wife is waiting for me." Kent replied with an awkward smile and hurriedly got past the lady, who was staring into Kent's eyes with a longing look. The lady released a dispirited sigh while staring at Kent, who is escaping at a rapid pace.

"What the hell with that look?! She is definitely hinting at something." Kent muttered, thinking of buying a face mask to hide his face in the future.

Thea is also observing Kent from a long distance. She took a moment to believe it's actually Kent. "Did he use any face charms?" Thea muttered without moving her gaze from Kent.

Ignoring the constant stares of people, Kent reached Thea, who is also glancing at his face. "Could you stop staring at my face?" Kent spoke while taking a seat opposite Thea.

'Ah… Ahhh…' Thea immediately adjusted her throat and turned her gaze to the side.

"Tell me, why did you want to see me?" Kent asked seriously while staring into her eyes.

Thea finally remembered the purpose of this meeting. Her normal face instantly turned into a serious, grim face. Instead of replying immediately, she gestured to the old lady, who wore servant clothes.

After a quick nod, the old lady brought a large tray containing several bowls of food. Kent's gaze moved onto all the food items one by one.

"Stop staring and eat first." Thea replied with a serious face, picking up a spoon and porridge bowl.

"Wifey, why are you treating me so much food? Also, these are all expensive." Kent asked without touching the food.

"Stop nagging. I'm not treating you with food. First, eat... I will tell you the important thing later. Also, stop calling me wife in public." Thea replied impatiently.

Kent ignored her warning and stared at the food. Even though Thea is denying, Kent understood that she definitely called him to treat food as she chose Silver Plaza out of all other places.

To satisfy his grumbling stomach, he picked up the meat soup bowl and began devouring it.

"My guess is correct... He is definitely not filling his stomach regularly. But where in hell did he get the money to buy those clothes and pets? Is he using other people's clothes? I must stop him if he is doing any wrong." Thea thought while observing Kent closely.

Soon Kent finished several bowls of food, ignoring the observing eyes of Thea, who was checking on him from time to time. Due to his new muscular body, he is feeling more hungry.

Thea pushed meat sticks towards Kent with a mean look. "Finish these… I won't eat them." She said it in a grumpy tone.

Kent just smiled and picked up the meat sticks. After ten minutes, only empty bowls lay on the table.

"Now, tell me. Why did you ask me to come here?" Kent asked, leaning backwards on the chair.

Thea released a heavy sigh and stared at his face seriously before opening her mouth. "Grand Master Gin is personally training Arul for the competition." Thea said with a grim look and paused.

"So, what…?!" Kent questioned her back casually, staring into her eyes. For some odd reason, Kent's gaze lingered around her rosy lips as he thought of kissing Thea at such a close distance, which may be due to the effect of yesterday's action.

"Kent, stop acting ignorant. Arul is your opponent in the first round, and you will suffer greatly if you participate in the tournament. Listen to me and withdraw from the competition before it's too late." Thea said it angrily before smashing the table.

The onlookers immediately turned their gazes towards the table where Thea and Kent sat. With an awkward smile, Thea nodded off the onlookers and turned her gaze back toward Kent.

"Stop worrying about me unnecessarily. I'm also preparing hard for the competition, and I won't be an easy target for Arul." Kent replied in a hushed tone while leaning forward to face Thea closely.

"Are you serious?! For god's sake, do you forget your Magus level? Arul is a 10th-grade Magus, and you won't be a match for him." Thea said it impatiently with an angry look.

Kent sighed deeply, thinking of ways to convince Thea. "Wifey, I decided to participate in this tournament at any cost. That means that even if I have to lose, I won't stop trying. Why don't trust me on this one?" Kent replied while touching her soft hands.

Thea hurriedly pulled back her hands and stared at Kent's face for a long time. She finally understood that Kent was not going to drop out of the competition. With an angry pout and fierce look, she got up from the table.

"Do whatever you want to do. Who am I to convince you? Here, at least keep this to save your life." Thea slammed a thin, bronze inscription plate and a note on the table and walked away hurriedly.

"Wait, what is this?!" Kent tried to stop her, but the old woman stood before him, blocking his run.

"Bill," the old lady muttered before slamming a small note beside the inscription plate.

After checking the bill note, Kent placed 10 silvers on the table and picked up the inscription plate along with the written note by Thea. He hurriedly ran outside to find her.

The old lady's eyes lit up after seeing 10 silver coins. She hurriedly pocketed an extra five silver coins.

Outside, Kent looked for Thea for a long time. But she was nowhere to find. With disappointment, he summoned the Fire Kirin from the Pegasus bracelet and flew towards the eastern outskirts.

Thea, who was observing Kent from a corner, came out after Kent flew away and walked inside the Silver Plaza.

"What do you mean he paid the bill? I ordered the food, not him." Thea questioned the old lady with an impatient look.
