Ye Shuang walked around but didn’t find Ye Qiu or Chen Dong and the others. As she hesitated at the entrance, she suddenly saw Ye Qiu coming from the opposite direction.

"Are you okay?" Seeing Ye Qiu, Ye Shuang quickly asked.

Ye Qiu shrugged his shoulders, "What could possibly be wrong with me?"

Ye Shuang looked at Ye Qiu’s smiling face with confusion. It didn’t make sense. She knew what kind of person Chen Dong was — not exactly agreeable, especially lately with Liu Wen backing him up, very arrogant.

"Are you really okay?"

Ye Qiu helplessly said, "Look, my arms and legs are intact, do I look like I’m in trouble?"

"But, I just saw you come out with Chen Dong and them. Where are they?" Ye Shuang asked.

Mentioning Chen Dong, Ye Qiu laughed and said, "Oh, them. We just went out and talked about life, and then he said he felt unwell and left."

Listening to Ye Qiu’s somewhat forced reason, Ye Shuang reluctantly believed him. As long as Ye Qiu was fine, she wasn’t eager to think too much about it.

The two returned to the hall. Ye Qiu took his plate back from the surprised hostess, cracked a slight smile, and continued looking for other snacks.
