Elder Tang Li brought Ye Qiu here and left him in the care of Huan’er. Ye Qiu thanked him and followed Huan’er into a study room.

"Come in." The voice that spoke was deep and authoritative. After Huan’er knocked and received permission, she pushed the door open and said to Clan Leader Tang Heshan, "My lord, Ye Qiu has arrived."

"You are Ye Qiu?"

As soon as Ye Qiu entered the study, filled with the scent of antique books, he felt a sharp gaze land on him. Looking forward, he saw a middle-aged man with an extraordinary demeanor, a square face, and thick eyebrows, radiating an aura of authority even without anger.

"I am Ye Qiu, greetings to the elder." Ye Qiu bowed slightly. If he wasn’t mistaken, this should be Tang Surou’s father, and Tang Surou bore some resemblance to this middle-aged man.

Surou’s reasoning was simple; Ye Qiu was stronger than any of the younger generation in the Tang clan and could provide her with much greater support.

Tang Heshan snorted at this; the children of his Tang clan from the ancient lands couldn’t possibly lose to someone from the mundane world. Seeing his daughter so persistent, he didn’t obstruct her but decided to see this martial arts prodigy for himself, to find out just how extraordinary he was. Hence, the scene where Elder Tang Li was instructed to bring Ye Qiu back unfolded.

"This youngster has indeed broken through to legendary... truly a genius, but he is, after all, a legend of the mundane world. How could his strength compare with the pride of the ancient lands?" Tang Heshan shook his head inwardly. Ye Qiu’s arrival had made quite an impression on him, but he still didn’t believe Ye Qiu had the strength to assist Tang Surou.
