Chu Xiaoyao’s eyes immediately reddened, and she said in a hurt voice, "Uncle, you’re not nice to me anymore. You promised to take care of me for life, but now that you have a wife, you don’t want me. Mom and dad left me behind, and now you’re abandoning me too."

Xiaoyao had just been throwing a little tantrum on purpose, but mentioning her parents brought up her sorrow, and she genuinely became upset.
