Chapter 866: Chapter 355 Electronic Jamming Chapter 866: Chapter 355 Electronic Jamming “The Drone faced a complete US Air Force combat squadron, and under the command of the early warning aircraft, they exhibited immense combat power. The US E-3 “Sentry” early warning aircraft was very powerful; its radar could track 100 incoming targets at once and simultaneously attack the 40 most threatening ones. Therefore, the early warning aircraft immediately detected the 40 incoming missiles. It would have been capable of shooting down all the incoming missiles, but unfortunately, the AIM-120 Air-to-Air Missiles launched by the Drone were Enhanced versions. These missiles saw a significant upgrade in their properties over the original version, leading far ahead of the basic ones, making common interception methods completely ineffective against them.

Thus, the US Forces could only use their numerical advantage to overwhelm the fewer, to shoot down one Enhanced AIM-120 Air-to-Air Missile. Based on previous combat situations, to shoot down an Enhanced AIM-120 Air-to-Air Missile, the US Forces would need to fire at least four of their standard AIM-120 Air-to-Air Missiles. Therefore, to shoot down all 40 of the Drone's AIM-120 Air-to-Air Missiles in one go, they would need to fire at least 160 standard AIM-120 Air-to-Air Missiles.

Previously, to counter the ten Enhanced AIM-120 Air-to-Air Missiles, the US Military Aircraft fleet had already expended 44 standard AIM-120 Air-to-Air Missiles. Then they launched another 44 standard AIM-120 Air-to-Air Missiles to attack the exposed Drone, using a total of 88 missiles in two salvos. So now, they had fewer than 50 missiles remaining for interception.

Besides, they had some special operation or support missiles left, which were of no use in an air battle. So, if they encountered a large number of incoming aircraft, the Quantum Radar's Electronic Jamming Capability would become ineffective.

In the first round of the encounter, Yan Fei was somewhat careless and did not activate the Quantum Radar's Electronic Jamming Capability to interfere with the US early warning aircraft which resulted in the US Military Aircraft fleet exceeding expectations under the centralized coordination of the early warning aircraft and intercepting all of the Drone's Missile Attacks.
