After the bell rang at the end of class, several students gathered around Moon Smith as soon as she left the classroom.

"Peter, when did you manage to win our goddess over?" Landon Smith asked Peter Brown somewhat gloomily.

"Be honest, what method did you use to win her over?" Max Evans also looked at Peter gloomily, as he had been pursuing Moon Smith for some time with no results.

One by one, their classmates surrounded them, deeply puzzled by Peter’s ability to win Moon Smith’s heart.

Peter smiled and said, "I’m not quite sure myself, but as you all saw, she came and sat down next to me on her own accord."

"Peter, did you know something big happened in the county last night?" Elian Collins asked Peter.

With excitement written across his face, Elian Collins said, "There was an earthquake! You wouldn’t believe it, but something big happened last night. Several leaders in the county were killed, and now the whole place is in chaos. I heard that a task force from our superiors has already rushed here."

Peter said, "We’re just students. We don’t need to worry about these things. It’s none of our business."

However, Landon Smith laughed and said, "Judging by Elian’s demeanor, it looks like his family’s Master might be promoted."

Elian’s face broke into an even wider smile, "There’s a chance, there’s a chance."

Peter glanced at the seven students present and thought to himself that it was fortunate none of their elders were involved in this matter, otherwise it would have been quite difficult to handle.

Moon Smith entered the classroom excitedly just before class began.

After everyone returned to their seats, she whispered to Peter, "I just talked to a few girlfriends on the phone. They confirmed that something big really happened in the county last night. Those gangsters were all captured, and many people were arrested last night – they even went and killed quite a few people." As she spoke, Moon Smith looked at Peter.

Peter said, "As I told you before, they will no longer have any impact on your life. From now on, with my help, you just need to focus on your studies and get into a good college."

"Okay, I trust you. Whichever university you go to, I’ll go to the same one."

"You’re not going to stalk me, are you? I have to find girls."

Moon Smith glared at Peter and said, "Am I not enough for you? Or if you like, I can introduce you to my girlfriends. Don’t worry, they’re all school beauties just like me."

Peter asked seriously, "How are they doing now? Don’t drag them into this mess again." Peter was genuinely concerned about this issue.

Shaking her head, Moon Smith said, "They’re fine. They’re not as deeply involved as I was."

"Try to distance yourself from them as much as possible in the future."

Moon Smith nodded slightly, "I will cut ties with the bad ones."

"Just take care of yourself."

The two continued their conversation for a while.

"Peter, it’s true!" Moon exclaimed excitedly after flipping through some books. She found that her memory today was incredibly strong, and she could remember everything as long as she skimmed through it.

Peter, of course, understood her amazement and said with a laugh, "I told you not to worry. Just focus on your studies."

Time passed quickly as the day was spent in studying, and Moon happily immersed herself in her studies.

Seeing the girl regain her joy, Peter felt content as well.

After school, Moon was waiting for Peter at the school gate. As soon as she saw him approaching, she went up and asked, "Are we going to my house now?"

"Let’s go."

The two hailed a taxi and headed for Moon’s home.

Their departure, however, greatly disappointed their classmates who had witnessed it, as they now understood that the goddess had fallen into Peter’s arms.

What everyone couldn’t understand was the method Peter had used to win the goddess over.

Peter didn’t care about his classmate’s thoughts. To him, all that mattered was living life with a "do as you please" mentality, without worrying about what others thought.

Moon’s home was in an old residential area, the kind of community affiliated to county-owned enterprises. Upon entering the community, the first sight was of a dilapidated surroundings.

Although Peter had been here last night and had seen the situation, the atmosphere of decline was even more apparent when he visited during the daytime, clearly indicating that the residents here were not wealthy.

When they arrived at Moon’s home, upon opening the door, Peter saw an even poorer sight, making his heart ache slightly. No wonder this beauty had been so cold and distant in class. She had been fighting so hard just to survive.

"Moon, are you back?" A woman in bed asked the question.

"Mom, I’m back."

"Sigh!" Moon’s mother sighed deeply, seemingly full of helplessness.

"Mom, I brought a doctor home who can definitely cure you."

"Moon, don’t bother with me. You know this is incurable."

With Moon’s guidance, Peter entered the room and saw a woman who looked very similar to Moon lying in bed.

"Who is this?" The woman looked at Peter warily.

"He’s my classmate, Peter. You might not believe it, but despite his young age, he’s a very skilled doctor. I specifically asked him to come and treat your illness," Moon explained.

The woman laughed bitterly after learning Peter was her daughter’s classmate, "You silly child."

Peter did not say much, and just extended his hand to hold the woman’s. Once he activated his True Qi, his Divine Sense penetrated her body as he began his diagnosis.

The woman, who had intended to say something, suddenly felt a warmth throughout her body and was astonished. She looked at Peter in amazement.

After a while, Peter withdrew his hand.

"Peter, how is it? Can you cure her?" Moon eagerly looked at Peter.

At this moment, the woman also gazed at Peter with hope, as she had just felt a surge of warmth in an area where she usually felt nothing.

With a slight smile, Peter said, "It’s quite easy. Just a silver needle treatment and some medicine, and you’ll be cured. Don’t worry."

"Really?" Moon couldn’t help herself and hugged Peter, tears flowing down her cheeks. This was the first time she had ever heard that her mother could be cured, which was no less than a huge surprise for her.

Peter took out the silver needles and said to the woman, "Auntie, I’ll give you the needle treatment now. Don’t worry, you’ll be back on your feet soon. It’s no big deal."

No big deal!

The woman looked at Peter speechlessly. A condition that was incurable even at so many hospitals was now being called ’no big deal’ by Peter. If it weren’t for the warmth she had felt earlier, she would have kicked him out.
