Chapter 927: Chapter 927 Christopher Williams is Stunned
After completing the questions, Peter Brown didn’t even bother to check them over; he knew his own situation all too well. Except for the essay score, which was hard to estimate, all the other questions should be correct.
Seeing Christopher Williams staring at his test paper in a daze, Peter simply said to him, "Mr. Williams, I’m turning in my test now."
"What?" Christopher Williams was a little surprised, but he quickly grabbed Peter Brown’s test paper.
At this point, the students in the class all looked up in amazement at Peter.
A few students sighed inwardly, thinking that Peter couldn’t possibly cheat under the watchful eye of such an invigilator. He probably had no choice but to hand in his paper.
Poor Peter this time!
Peter didn’t bother to think about what the others were thinking. He just sat down and closed his eyes to rest. There was a rule for those who had handed in their tests: they couldn’t leave the classroom afterwards. So Peter could only gather his energy at his seat.
Mr. Williams was also a bit concerned that Christopher Williams was doing too much, so he quickly walked over.
At the beginning, Mr. Williams thought that Peter had handed in his paper because he couldn’t solve the problems. However, when he got closer and saw the paper, he was also stunned.
At first glance, Mr. Williams saw beautifully written words all over the paper.
Peter had written the essay question in a gorgeous regular script. Such calligraphy would have no problem being displayed at an exhibition.
This kid!
When Mr. Williams looked at the completed problems, he was even more shocked. All the questions had been answered, and there was no sign of unfinished work due to inability.
What’s going on?
Mr. Williams, being a physical education teacher, didn’t know if the answers were correct or not, so he looked at Christopher Williams’ face for clues.
However, upon closer inspection, Mr. Williams noticed that there was something off about Christopher Williams’ expression; he seemed to be spacing out.
What had happened?
"Mr. Williams, what’s wrong?" Mr. Williams asked.
Christopher Williams regained a bit of composure and looked at Peter Brown with a complicated expression. He wanted to say something but didn’t know what to say.
Accusing Peter of cheating? Peter had completed the test right under his nose. Christopher Williams stared at every word Peter wrote; there was no cheating at all!
Maybe Peter was just better at language?
With a complicated expression, Christopher Williams took Peter Brown’s test paper and placed it on the podium.
Afterwards, Peter closed his eyes to rest while Christopher Williams watched over him with a complex expression.
The first exam ended after two classes, and when the invigilators left, the classmates all looked sympathetically at Peter.
A female classmate said, "Peter, if you don’t do well on the exam, don’t worry about it. Our class is just a poor class anyway."
Elian Collins said, "Peter, Christopher Williams was clearly targeting you. Find an opportunity to teach him a lesson. It’s so unfair!"
Peter simply smiled and said, "Who said I didn’t do well? Today’s exam was easy for me, and I finished it in half an hour."
"Oh, Peter, it’s okay if you don’t do well."
Elian Collins thought Peter was saying this because he was angry.
Seeing everyone’s reaction, Peter couldn’t help but feel helpless.
The students quickly ran to the bathroom and the like, leaving the classroom empty.
At this time, Flora Nelson walked in, quickly noticed Peter sitting there, and walked over to say, "Peter, just believe in yourself and show your true level."
Seeing Flora Nelson comforting him too, Peter could only say, "Mr. Carter, don’t worry, I’ll do my best on the exam."
"Okay, the papers have been sealed and stored. They won’t be graded until tomorrow. I didn’t see your test paper; how do you think you did?"
At this point, Hoden Walter laughed and said, "Mr. Carter, how could he have done well? Christopher Williams sat right next to Peter and stared at him the whole time. Even every single word he wrote was being watched. He handed in the test after only half an hour; how could he possibly have done well?"
"What?" Flora Nelson was furious when she heard this: "Mr. Williams really did that?"
"The whole class saw it."
"Mr. Carter, Christopher Williams doing that will definitely affect Peter’s mood when doing the test. How can he do well on the exam like this?" another female classmate said indignantly.
Seeing Flora Nelson getting so angry and ready to confront Christopher Williams, Peter said with a smile, "Mr. Carter, it’s fine, it’s actually good that Mr. Williams is watching. When my grades come out, no one will doubt their authenticity. It’s a good thing, and it won’t affect my performance; I’m going to get first place this time."
Flora Nelson chuckled angrily, "Are you sure you’re okay?" She could hardly believe what Peter was saying and looked to him for answers.
Peter smiled and said, "Really, I’m fine. In my language test, other than the essay, I think everything should be full marks."
At this point, the whole class looked at Peter wordlessly.
Flora Nelson stomped her foot and said, "No, I have to talk to Mr. Williams about this. How could he do this?"
No matter what Peter said, Flora Nelson stormed out in a whirlwind.
Seeing Flora Nelson act this way, Peter felt a little touched. He also felt moved when he looked at the concerned classmates around him, and he wondered if he should help them out.
The second exam also took place.
This time, Christopher Williams didn’t constantly stare at Peter, but Peter noticed that he still glanced over at him from time to time. In fact, he seemed to be moving around the classroom much faster than usual, quickly coming to Peter’s side and looking him up and down.
Peter just smiled, unfazed by Christopher Williams’ behavior. This time it was the English exam, which was even easier for Peter.
Writing quickly on the exam, Peter finished all the questions in less than half an hour.
He just happened to see Christopher Williams walking over again and said, "Mr. Williams, I’m turning in my test."
"What?" Christopher Williams had actually been watching Peter’s test-taking progress. Although he didn’t know much about English, Christopher Williams felt confused when he saw Peter write so smoothly.
Test paper in hand, Christopher Williams looked at it for a while but still couldn’t tell if the answers were correct. However, he did notice that Peter’s English handwriting was also quite good.
Was this the same bad student who got into fights?
Christopher Williams really couldn’t figure Peter out now.
So under the watchful eye of Christopher Williams, Peter and his classmates completed a whole day of exams, only finishing all the subjects by the evening self-study session.
Once the exams were over, the classmates all breathed a sigh of relief. One by one, they sighed and expressed that the difficulty of the questions had increased significantly this time.
