Chapter 884: Returning to Earth
Chapter 884: Chapter 884: Returning to Earth
Raven Walter didn’t want to be bothered with the affairs of the Cultivation World, and instead was more concerned with matters on Earth. After entrusting all the responsibilities to the three women, he excused himself for closed-door cultivation to break through to the Golden Core Middle Stage, but actually secretly teleported away.
Although he was worried about the women, he had his own thoughts. It was time for the three women to bear their own responsibilities. If they couldn’t handle such a situation, their fate would be the same eventually.
As for the nine Soul Splitting experts, Peter Brown believed they would never betray him as long as he was around.
After continuous teleportation, Peter had already arrived at the Land of Decay.
This time, since he brought so many Lingcao and seeds, he simply made several trips back and forth in the Land of Decay until his Ring was filled with various Lingcao before leaving.
Looking at the Earth’s atmosphere and surrounding conditions, Peter felt good and thought that Earth still gave a sense of belonging. No matter how good the Cultivation World seemed, it always lacked something.
While flying through the sky, Peter felt a distinct repulsion from Earth, and knew it was due to the Heavenly Dao Will.
But for Peter, it wasn’t a big deal. After mobilizing his Dao affinity, his aura began to merge with Earth’s Heavenly Dao Will, and soon, the repulsion faded away.
Indeed, there exists a repulsive will towards high-level cultivators on Earth!
Through this experience, Peter learned why the cultivators were eager to leave - not because they didn’t want to stay on Earth, but because Earth didn’t want them to stay.
Without giving it much thought, Peter teleported to the Kingston Cave Realm in an instant.
Upon arrival, he was somewhat surprised to see a massive construction site. Countless pieces of equipment and machinery were working, building something akin to a large barracks.
When he found Quinn Walker busily directing the workers, Peter noticed her commanding presence, and she seemed like a successful career woman.
"What are you all doing?"
Hearing Peter’s question, Quinn realized he was there and immediately jumped into his arms without caring about the onlookers. She cooed, "Peter, how do you think our construction project is going?"
"You said you would develop another planet, so why are you making such a big scene on Earth?" Peter asked with a frown.
Quinn replied, "Peter, you don’t know the situation. Besides returning to Earth, many alien fleets have appeared in the Solar System, and some have even sent alliance requests, hoping to ally with you."
Was there something like this?
Before Peter had a chance to check the situation in space, he pulled out the probes he had set in the sky, and a huge screen appeared in front of him.
After seeing the screen, Peter was shocked. "How come there are so many alien fleets?"
"Peter, we don’t know either. Maybe those who left leaked Earth’s coordinates, and now we have entered the era of interstellar civilization?"
Peter glanced at Earth and sighed, "Earth is not ready yet."
"That’s right. The situation on Earth is far from prepared. The gap with the alien civilizations is too big. If it weren’t for your presence on Earth, it would be doomed by now."
With no choice, Peter nodded in agreement. As Quinn said, those alien powers spoke of strength. Without corresponding power on Earth, their attitude towards Earth couldn’t be as friendly as it was now.
"It seems the government has communicated with you?"
Nodding, Quinn said, "Yes, according to the people who informed us from the government, the alien civilizations directly requested to speak with you. They know you’re Earth’s guardian."
Peter had mixed feelings, knowing that Earth’s governments must have sought him as their last resort.
While they were talking, Raven Walter approached them, a hint of surprise in Peter’s eyes as he saw his father walking on air. He had clearly reached the Qi Refining Fourth Level.
"Dad, not bad, you’re at the Qi Refining Fourth Level!" joked Peter.
Raven Walter disregarded the joke and anxiously asked, "Peter, what do we do now? So many alien civilizations are arriving, and Earth’s governments are terrified. They have no means to deal with the aliens and are all counting on you."
Peter smiled slightly, "I’ve set up a formation in the Solar System. They can’t enter even if they try. It’s precisely because of this that they have no choice but to come to me for negotiations, otherwise, they would have invaded already."
There was that?
Raven Walter had no idea about the situation and only now learned that his son had made arrangements.
As the two entered the Kingston Cave, Peter saw that almost everyone had reached the Cultivation Fifth or Sixth Layer. With Earth’s spiritual energy and the elixirs he had left behind, their cultivation had improved significantly.
Liza Smith was overjoyed to see her son and asked with a smile, "Where on earth have you been?"
Peter couldn’t tell them about the Cultivation World, so he lied, "I found out that Mars is a habitable planet, but since it has no atmosphere to lock in the spiritual energy, I’ve been searching for materials. With everything I’ve gathered, I can transform Mars into the Carter Family’s Cultivation Star Planet once I remodel it."
"Can it really work?" Everyone’s eyes were filled with excitement, as this would be a great development for their family if true.
Peter nodded, "It’s not a problem. Just wait and see, once I transform Mars, it won’t be any worse than Earth."
Raven Walter laughed, "If we can develop on Mars then, we can indeed grow stronger."
Liza Smith asked, "It’s so far away from Earth, how do we get there?"
Peter replied, "Two ways. One is the teleportation formation, which cannot be used on a large scale. And the other is building numerous starships for transportation."
