Chapter 800: Chapter 800: There’s a Gang
"You said he’s a human trafficker?" Peter Brown looked at Abel Harris.
Upon hearing Peter’s words, Abel turned to look at him, glanced at Lea Collins, and laughed:"Very good, very good, your man is not at home, and you’ve learned to seduce men. Not bad, this kid is handsome, and he does attract you."
"Looking for death!"
Peter really couldn’t stand it anymore, and from what he could see, this Abel Harris was a bad guy.
What puzzled Peter was that if this guy had been talking like this, he should have been trafficking people for at least twenty years, right? How come he hadn’t been caught yet, and he was still doing this now?
Of course, Peter didn’t have any evidence against him, so he couldn’t say much. However, when he heard these words from this old guy, Peter’s anger rose and he roared.
"Yo, who do you think you are, kid? When I started out, you weren’t even born yet. Go and cripple him!" He said to a young person behind him.
The young man flew up and aimed a kick at Peter.
It must be said that this young man is a practitioner, and this kick was quite powerful.
However, who asked him to encounter Peter Brown?
As Peter raised his hand and pointed, the young man flew in quickly and returned just as fast.
With a crack, the young man fell down in front of Abel.
Following that, the young man’s miserable screams sounded.
"You!"
Abel was someone who could read the room. He immediately shut up in fright as he pointed at Peter, and then snorted:"Kid, don’t think you’re amazing just because you can fight. Nowadays, it’s the era of firearms. If you have the guts, just wait."
He promptly helped the young man to his feet, placed him on his back, and walked away.
Watching these people leave, Lea Collins cried out while hugging her two daughters.
Peter looked at Lea Collins and began to understand that this woman must have her own story.
"Boss Wang, you’d better run now, or else it’ll be too late!"
Lea Collins suddenly said to Peter.
"What exactly is the situation?" Peter looked at Lea Collins and asked.
"They are some big players, and you won’t be able to beat them. Hurry up and go."
As she spoke, she knelt before Peter:"Boss Wang, I know you’re a good person, please save the two children."
"Please get up, we can discuss things."
Peter helped her up.
Seeing Peter’s nonchalant attitude, Lea Collins anxiously said:"Boss Wang, really, their power is very great. If you don’t leave now, it’ll be too late. Abel Harris is just one of their minor leaders. The real power behind them is huge."
"I’m not someone who’s afraid of trouble. Tell me what’s going on, and I’ll handle it."
"You!" Lea Collins stomped her foot, running out of words for Peter.
Thinking of her miserable experiences, Lea began to cry out loud again.
Her two daughters also started to cry.
"What’s the point of crying? Tell me your situation quickly, and I’ll see if I can help you."
Peter, who couldn’t bear seeing women cry, frowned and shouted.
After holding back her tears, Lea Collins mustered the courage to express her grievances, choking:"In twenty years, this matter has been buried in my heart and I never dared to tell anyone about it. Today, there’s no escape, so I might as well tell you."
With Lea’s narration, Peter’s anger surged.
As it turned out, Lea was not a rural people, but an urban one. When she was fourteen, she met Abel Harris, who looked very handsome and was generous with money at that time. As a result, Lea was deceived by Abel, thinking that he would marry her, but only after sleeping together did she discover that Abel was actually a minor leader of a gang called the Eagle Sect. His task was to deceive vulnerable girls, then force them to become prostitutes, and even carry out cheating and other activities. Moreover, he would deceive the vulnerable girls and sell them to the rural villages.
Initially, Lea didn’t realize all these, but she was scared when she saw that one of her sisters was killed for disobedience. She wanted to return to her home no matter what.
The result was that Abel and his associates threatened Lea that if she didn’t obey, they would kill her family and even take her to see their murder activities.
Of course, Lea wanted to escape. One day, when they were not paying attention, she ran away, but she was inevitably caught and brought back. Then they took her to her family and crippled her brother. They threatened her that if she ran away again, they would kill her entire family.
Seeing this situation, Lea immediately broke down and gave up the idea of running away.
Later on, when Lea offended Abel, he simply sold her to a village far away. The person who bought her was an honest villager named Zachary. Although he was a bit older, he treated Lea well.
After the couple had children, they lived a peaceful life for a few years. However, one time when they went to the city, one of Abel’s associates saw Lea. Then, the couple decided to leave the village overnight and stay at the Riverside Village with their relatives.
Another thing Lea never mentioned was that she suspected that Zachary was not working far away with another woman but had encountered Abel’s people again, most likely being assassinated.
In order to protect her family from being implicated, Lea could only stay in the village.
As Lea recounted her experiences here, Peter couldn’t help but feel speechless, thinking of everything she had been through. At that time, Lea was only fourteen or fifteen years old, it was the rebellious period when girls who had gone astray were most easily deceived by bad guys. Moreover, if the person they encountered was a handsome guy, the likelihood of being deceived was even greater.
"You said their power is huge? So many years have passed, and their power has not been taken down?" Peter was somewhat incredulous.
"You don’t know, their power is hidden, and no one knows about it on the surface. Some white society companies are still controlled by them. Moreover, they have good connections with the people in officialdom."
Lea Collins was obviously only aware of some circumstances and couldn’t fully explain what this Faction was all about.
Peter looked at Lea Collins and shook his head secretly. This woman, who had never returned home since she was fourteen, should be in her thirties now. Her life was pretty much ruined.
