Peter Brown carefully activated the Invisibility Talisman.

He would only proceed after observing each segment of the road. After extending his Divine Sense for search, he managed to evade some surveillance facilities.

It wasn’t as secure inside here, perhaps due to the two layers of formations, which had actually resulted in becoming quite lax.

After managing to avoid several infrared-like installations, Peter did not discover any more dangerous areas.

Progressing unceasingly toward the interior, Peter indeed saw many biohumans here, the lowest among which had reached the height of the Qi Refining First Layer.

After walking for awhile, Peter paused and stood there, slipping into a thoughtful pose.

There were no humans among the researchers he had seen throughout this journey, were there?

When he reflected upon the situation he had seen, Peter was even more startled - all the biohumans along the way were not pure humans at all.

How strange!

With these questions, Peter moved forward a bit. As expected, he discovered that this was truly a world of biohumans. These biohumans had no cover at all, and each exhibited animal features.

When he entered a gigantic space, Peter saw that there were even more biohumans here, many of which had cultivation levels reaching the Foundation Establishment stage.

At this moment, Peter saw a biohuman completely in the shape of a Demon Beast sitting high up on a platform, holding something like a scepter in his hand. Surprisingly, many biohumans were worshipping him.

Upon seeing this scene, Peter was inwardly alarmed.

This was no biohuman, but rather, a living Demon Beast. Additionally, it seemed that the Demon Beast’s cultivation was quite profound, at least reaching the third or fourth layer of Foundation Establishment stage.

Considering the circumstances he had observed during his journey, Peter already understood in his heart - this place was clearly under the control of Demon Beasts, not humans.

Suddenly, the Demon Beast sitting high up on the platform turned its gaze onto the spot where Peter was, with a cold glint appearing in its eyes.

"Who are you?"

The Demon Beast shockingly detected the presence of Peter, and immediately inquired.

Peter hadn’t expected the other party to discover his presence, and his heart jumped in alarm.

At this point, the Demon Beast sprang into the air from the platform and lunged toward Peter.

"Who are you?"

The Demon Beast hadn’t expected that his punch would not manage to kill Peter, he looked somewhat surprised as he examined Peter.

After the Healing Injury Pill took effect, Peter recovered, inhaling deeply a few times before his aura returned to its normal state.

Looking at the Demon Beast, Peter knew that he was not a match for the beast if they fought head-on.

However, Peter still had cards up his sleeve, so he was not afraid of the Demon Beast.

"Are you a Demon Beast? How did you get here?" Peter asked, sounding out the situation.

This Demon Beast could speak and had a high cultivation level which made Peter feel something was not simple.

His eyes emitting a flame-like glow and his aura rising without halt, the Demon Beast demanded in a piercing tone: "How did you get in here?"

At this point, Peter glanced around and saw that Maurren Smith had been completely stripped naked. She was now unconscious, placed atop a large white jade platform.

Were they planning to conduct a sacrificial ceremony for the Demon Beast?

Peter began to grasp the situation. Typically, when this Demon Beast fed, the other Demon Beasts would provide the food, cleaning the live prey before letting the Demon Beast eat.

It was now clear that Maurren was about to become food for this Demon Beast.

Luckily, he managed to arrive before the woman had been eaten!

Seeing Peter look at Maurren, the Demon Beast asked, "Are you two together?"

After finishing its words, it pounced towards Peter again.

With so many Demon Beasts around, Peter did not want to fight this Demon Beast directly. He quickly activated a Small Teleportation Talisman and appeared in front of Maurren. Then, he stretched out his hand to hold her in his arms.

"Kill him!"

Upon seeing that Peter had taken the food it was about to eat, the Demon Beast let out a sharp cry.

At this moment, chaos broke out underground. Each of the Demon Beasts rushed towards Peter.

At this point, Peter had a hair-raising feeling. Compared to these biohumans who were just at the Qi Refining Stage, the higher-ups were almost all Demon Beasts. It was clear without additional thought that this place was a Demon Beast territory.

Peter didn’t have time to think about this. With so many Demon Beasts, especially plenty at the Foundation Establishment Stage, he was sure that he would not be able to win against him. His only option was to escape.

Adonis Harrison had said it was a small team, but Peter only saw Maurren. At this point, there was no chance left to save the other team members. With this thought in mind, Peter released the Confusion Mist he had prepared.

Originally, it was intended to be used against the biohumans of Arctic Nation. Now, he had no choice but to use it against these Demon Beasts here.

As expected, the moment the Confusion Mist was released, the biohumans under the Foundation Establishment Stage immediately went berserk, fighting each other in their frenzy.

When Peter stole a glance, he noticed that those Demon Beasts at the Foundation Establishment stage or higher were barely affected. Perhaps Demon Beasts equal to the first layer of Foundation Establishment stage were slightly affected, but those at the second layer or higher were unaffected.

Seeing that Peter released an unknown poisonous gas and caused this transformation, the Demon Beasts roared angrily and pursued him.

Peter truly had not expected this situation to occur on Earth. He could only risk his life and head towards the location of the Death Light Formation.

The Demon Beasts here were also highly intelligent. Seeing the way Peter was escaping, they shouted loudly, "Activate the formation."

However, Peter had Small Teleportation Talismans in his hand. After casting a few of them, Peter was already at the formation eyes.
