A smile appeared on Peter’s face.

Alexander patted Peter on the shoulder and said, "Have a good rest."

Eleanor initially wanted to ally with Peter to challenge Alexander. To her surprise, Peter had no interest in competing. He could have expanded his influence using his political achievements, but he chose to back out. Eleanor’s plans were now unattainable.
