Chapter 482: Chapter 481: Taking the Initiative
Upon hearing Nellie speak such a sentence again, Peter didn’t say any more. He thought to himself: ’Well, if a mistake is made, a mistake is made.’
Peter hesitated for a while but ultimately couldn’t resist the charm of the beautiful woman.
He didn’t know how long it had been, but when their movements were finally over, Peter let out a breath of relief.
This experience of intimate bonding truly gave Peter a kind of spiritual pleasure.
Nellie was obviously a seductive woman, and although this was her first time, she was quick to understand, able to follow Peter’s cues in their movements, even bringing him to a state of full-bodied ecstasy.
Looking at the girl who was already sound asleep, Peter lay there thinking.
This time, he had some realizations, but it was clear that the cultivation of human nature wasn’t sufficient yet. Since Nellie wanted to do something, he thought he might as well help her.
Helping Nellie now, Peter realized wasn’t as easy as he thought, mainly because it involved starting a company, which isn’t simple. The first issue was the funding.
Peter did have the funds, but he had decided that if he was to undergo this cultivation, he couldn’t use his money. He had to do everything by the book.
According to the rules, he would need to find a way to raise the funds.
Thinking for a while, Peter thought about the girls living in the villa. If they were fortunate, he decided to include them in the newly established company. This would be a way of helping them as well.
He wondered how much money they would be able to contribute.
After finishing this task, Peter felt no tiredness at all. He decided to simply take a bath, rest for a while, and then start cooking.
After spending the morning in chaos, Peter realized what a thrilling day it was.
As Peter’s cooked food was ready, the girls had all returned from work.
Once again the room was filled with liveliness.
"Hey, this is Nellie’s handbag. How come she didn’t come for dinner?" Sophia asked when she saw the handbag on the sofa.
"Ah!"
Sharon found Nellie’s bra under the sofa and looked at it in surprise, before turning her gaze to Peter.
Following her gaze everyone else looked at the bra under the sofa.
Everyone then looked at Peter with questioning eyes.
Amelia pointed at Peter and asked: "You two?"
Whilst asking, she quickly rushed upstairs.
Peter let out a bitter laugh. He’d cleaned up a bit earlier but hadn’t noticed that the bra was under the sofa, now everyone would know.
Two other girls glanced at Peter, grinned, and quickly rushed upstairs after Amelia.
"Dinner’s ready," Peter simply commented and quickly headed to serve the food.
After bustling in the kitchen, Peter returned with a bowl of vegetable soup. He noticed everyone sitting at the dining table, and Nellie, her face blushing, also sitting there.
"Wow, Peter, I didn’t see that coming. You managed to woo Nellie so fast. No wonder you two have been missing for two nights. Come clean, when did you two hook up?" Echo Bennett looked at Peter with a fierce look.
Looking at everyone’s interrogative faces, Peter casually continued serving while saying, "Eat quickly or the food will go cold."
"Interesting, you’re rather calm about this," Sophia said as she looked at Peter. She realized that she couldn’t quite figure out Peter anymore.
"Nellie, they don’t care about you anymore. What will you do?" Isabella jokingly asked Nellie.
Nellie glanced at Peter, then picked up the bowl of rice Peter had served for her and started eating. She bore an expression of resilience to whatever came her way.
"Wow, impressive!"
Seeing the nonchalance of the pair, everyone else was left speechless, and seeing Peter and Nellie tucking in, they all joined in.
The vegetables Peter cooked that day were the ones grown under the nourishment of spiritual energy in the ring. Everyone noticed the unique taste of these vegetables and started eating with gusto, fully engrossed by the food.
Once all the food was finished, Rosemary lamented: "Guys, have you noticed how after eating Peter’s cooking, we’re just not interested in food from outside anymore?"
"Yeah, every day I can’t wait for my shift to end so I can come home for dinner!" Dawn also laughed bitterly.
Everyone then turned to Nellie and asked teasingly: "Nellie, be honest, are you interested in Peter because he cooks so well?"
Although the comment was meant as a joke, Nellie knew full well that she had initiated what happened today. She blushed at the memory of what she had done with Peter.
