Chapter 453: Chapter 452: Guiding Alchemy
"Peter, this our sect’s storehouse. It contains various items collected over the years in the Kunlun Sect. You may browse through it and select any three items."
As per the original agreement, Peter Brown was allowed to choose some necessary items from the various sects once he had refined the Foundation-Establishment pills. Tobias Armstrong led Peter Brown into the storehouse of the Kunlun Sect.
This particular location was different from the previous ones. It was the real storeroom of the Kunlun Sect.
Upon entering, Peter saw many items he needed.
What Peter wanted to refine the most were magical artifacts that could travel underwater. He had been lacking materials for this. Seeing the stock in the storeroom, the idea of refining a Flying Fish Magical Treasure surfaced in Peter’s mind once again.
Rainbow Fluorite, Essence Rain Silk, Spirit Transformation Stone...
Seeing these materials, Peter immediately picked them up. These were three materials required for the Flying Fish Magical Treasure.
Upon looking further, Peter spotted two more materials he needs.
"Green Fluorite, White Jade!"
Looking at these two materials, Peter thought for a moment and then had someone call Tobias Armstrong over. He said, "Mr. Armstrong, I intend to refine a certain item and have found five materials here that I need. Could I exchange the other two with elixirs after selecting three?"
Tobias Armstrong responded with a smile, "In fact, I wanted to discuss something with you. Each sect is in dire need of Alchemists. Alchemy has been losing its inheritance. Could you teach some of our disciples alchemy? Of course, you only need to teach them the basics. If you agree, not only could you have the remaining two materials but anything else you needed, I will help you obtain."
After some thought, Peter nodded slightly, "Here’s what we do. Each sect gets two slots. I will run a short-term training class here, teaching them everything from the basics to intermediate alchemy. Whether they can master it will depend on them."
"Great!"
Tobias Armstrong was overjoyed. For every sect, Peter’s act was indeed one of immense merit.
Peter collected all five materials and listed out the materials he needed for Tobias Armstrong to discuss with others.
Back in his accommodations at the Kunlun Section, Peter went through recent events and felt satisfied with how things were progressing.
After calming his mind for a while, Peter looked toward the stele within his dantian, below the navel.
On looking, he showed a joyous expression.
As expected, the livestream of his battle on Kunlun Mountain had brought Peter a lot of popularity. His Dao Source had now reached three hundred million.
This much Dao Source was just too much!
Having so much Dao Source, Peter was finally able to relax. With so many Dao Sources, Peter believed he could perfect all his Spiritual Roots before reaching Foundation Establishment.
It was a shame that this was the Kunlun Sect. It wasn’t appropriateto refine the Dao Union Pill just yet.
Peter had no choice but to sit cross-legged and start cultivating.
When Peter completed his practice and opened the door, he saw the disciples of the Kunlun Sect out side.
"Where is your Sect Leader?"
"Please follow me."
A pretty female cultivator with a pleasant smile led Peter towards the drawing room.
When Peter arrived at the drawing room, he was surprised to see several Sect Leaders present.
"Greetings Mr. Peter."
Everyone stood to greet him.
"Greetings to all the Sect Leaders."
Peter was considerate enough not to show any disrespect.
Tobias Armstrong, with a bitter smile, said, "I’m sorry, Peter. When everyone found out you were training a group of alchemy disciples, they all hoped you could train some disciples from their sects as well."
Amir Harris, the Sect Leader of the Iron Sword Sect, said, "Peter, after the Elixir Master Alliance was destroyed by us this time, there’s a severe shortage of Alchemy disciples on Earth. To be honest, each of our sects does have talents in this aspect, but without inheritance, their potential is limited. We hope that you could guide them."
Palm Master Henderson, Theodore, said, "Peter, you understand the rules. Even if these disciples are not accepted by you, they will respect you like a mentor. Besides, to show our sincere intention, we will each offer several items that you need."
David Taylor added, "The items from the Mount Hawkins Sect are already in the storage bag. Peter, feel free to take anything you need."
As Peter looked around, these Sect Leaders seemed well-prepared, each taking out their storage bags, clearly waiting for Peter to accept their gifts.
Seeing this, Peter thought that whether he taught one sect or many, it was the same. He then said with a smile, "To be honest, I’m currently in need of some items. Then, just send your disciples over to the Kunlun Sect."
Idan Jones laughed, "We had already predicted that you are a man of integrity. Our disciples have already been brought here."
Peter laughed, picked up David Taylor’s storage bag, and looked through it. He then took three materials out and put them into his ring - all of them were materials he needed.
Then, without being shy, Peter chose three items from each sect. He didn’t take more than he needed from any of them.
Even so, Peter was pleasantly surprised. This time, he had reaped a lot of benefits.
At this point, Tobias Armstrong handed a storage bag to Peter, "Peter, these are some of the items you need. Please accept them. They were provided by everyone."
Peter bowed slightly to everyone, "Thank you very much."
All the Sect Leaders smiled and said, "Actually, it’s us who should be thanking you, Peter. If this group of Alchemy disciples is trained well, the inheritance of Alchemy on Earth will be restored."
Peter said, "For the first step, I will teach them basic knowledge. Then, I will teach intermediate Alchemy. Finally, I will allow them to observe when I refine the Foundation-Establishment Pills. If they are attentive, they should be able to learn the next step of refining the Foundation-Establishment Pills."
This made everyone even happier.
Seeing everyone so happy, Peter added, "Don’t celebrate too early. Learning Alchemy is not easy. Many times, even if you know how to refine elixirs, practice is also important. And this is a very expensive process."
"Don’t worry, Peter. We all know about it. You just need to teach them. We don’t expect them to learn too much."
Peter nodded slightly, "Alright then, Mr. Armstrong, please find us a location. I will start teaching Alchemy tomorrow. If other Sect Leaders are interested, they can observe."
