"There are so many people!" Emery Robertson exclaimed in surprise as she saw the sudden influx of people.

Stephen Taylor suggested, "Since we’re all heading to the same place, why don’t we squeeze into one car? My business car can seat eleven people, and the others can just follow behind in the other vehicles. What do you think?"

Emery happily agreed, "Sure, it’ll be more lively."

As they spoke, Emery had convinced Maisy Spencer and their group to go along with the plan.

Under Emery’s persuasion, Maisy and the others quickly agreed to ride together. Stephen Taylor paid the travel agency for their business car and told them to take it back, as they no longer needed it.

Soon, everyone got into Stephen’s business car.

In front was their car, followed by Emery’s car. Stephen Taylor’s people decided to leave a few of them behind and not follow along, with two of them squeezing into Emery’s car instead.

Peter Brown watched everything with a smile, curious to see what these two were up to.

When he glanced at the two newcomers who had arrived last night, they seemed to be sleep-deprived and didn’t talk much.

As everyone chatted in the car, the atmosphere was lively as they headed towards Rui City.

Peter Brown observed coldly, already understanding the situation of their trap. They were going to take them to a new location.

Stephen Taylor added, "We’ll have to cross the border this time, but I have connections, so it shouldn’t be a problem. I know a crossing where we can just drive straight through."

Those who followed behind were instructed to wait in Rui City. Everyone’s cars got to a secluded area, crossed the Hua Nation border, and headed directly towards the Burmese side.

As expected, the soldiers at the checkpoint didn’t stop them. After Stephen Taylor showed a document, they were allowed to pass immediately. The car continued along a mountain road, and Ella Johnson glanced at Peter Brown sitting next to her with a worried look in her eyes.

Peter knew what she was thinking; they were in an unsafe place.

Stephen Taylor laughed, "The road may be rough, but that’s intentional on their part. After all, having such a route makes it difficult for anyone to attack them."

"This road is much better than the ones in our village."

Emery chimed in.

After two hours, the car finally arrived at a village.

At first glance, it was a very poor mountain village, and the villagers didn’t seem very welcoming towards Peter and the others.

As everyone got out of the car to stretch their legs, Ella Johnson approached Peter and whispered, "Peter, I don’t think we should have come here. If something happens, we won’t be able to get help."

Peter smiled and took out a jade talisman from his pocket, handing it to Ella, "Sister, this is a protective talisman for you to keep."
