Chapter 2191: Chapter 2189: Collecting Cultivation Techniques
After entering the cultivation chamber, Peter Brown sat down cross-legged and began deducing his own cultivation technique.
In the past, he harbored a deep reverence for Saint-level experts. Now, Peter could sit and discuss Dao with Saints, and somehow, that sense of awe had vanished. To Peter, Saints were still human; they hadn’t transcended the realm of humanity.
Peter even began to suspect whether there were levels higher than Saints.
Thinking about the setups in the Phantom Realm, Peter considered that the Saints he had encountered probably couldn’t create such things. However, he still couldn’t fathom what lay beyond that.
No matter, for now, Peter had too much on his plate. The priority was to upgrade his cultivation.
The Demon Clan was deceived by him, thinking the Battle Energy World was targeting them, which caused them to halt their offense. But what if they figured out the truth?
Peter believed that, with Saints supporting him, he’d be able to protect himself. However, could he really keep evading forever?
What about the cultivation techniques Peter had acquired so far? They were the same ones regular people practiced. What kind of cultivation techniques do Saints use? What methods do they have?
Upon pondering this, Peter had a thought: he could investigate the Human Clan’s Saints as well as the Demon Clan’s Saints.
Act now!
Peter quickly connected to the Faith Network of the Northern Saint, as he was the closest Saint to Peter geographically. Peter intended to see what kind of situation the Saint was currently in.
Upon making the connection, Peter immediately found the Northern Saint residing in an icy house within a snowy region, enveloped entirely by a powerful energy field.
For ordinary people, entering such a field would be impossible. However, for Peter, this posed no problem at all.
Peter entered directly.
As Peter connected with the Northern Saint’s faith energy, the details of this domain unfolded before him.
At that moment, the Northern Saint, who was sitting cross-legged, suddenly opened his eyes. He sensed, inexplicably, that someone was spying on him.
No matter what methods he employed, he could not detect anyone or anything out of the ordinary.
How strange!
The Northern Saint’s expression darkened. That unique, intuitive sensitivity possessed by someone at the Saint-level couldn’t be deceived. Still, who could be spying on him? Who would be capable?
The Northern Saint’s thoughts turned to the crisis facing the Human Clan, and his heart raced wildly. Was the observer an even mightier expert? Which clan could it be?
Meanwhile, Peter cared little about the Saint’s suspicions, focusing on searching the Northern Saint’s consciousness.
However, the process wasn’t easy. After all, Peter was dealing with a Saint-level being. He quickly realized he couldn’t break through the Saint’s consciousness due to the latter’s formidable willpower.
Failing to breach the Saint’s will, Peter decided not to dwell on it further and instead turned his divine sense toward the Saint’s collection of books.
When Peter’s divine sense connected to the bookshelf, all the books on it were instantly mirrored into his Elixir Sea.
That was quick!
Peter chuckled, amused by his own success.
He wasn’t ready to leave yet; he decided to mirror the items in the house as well.
After another 10 minutes passed, Peter had managed to gather substantial treasures, despite being unable to penetrate the Saint’s will.
The Northern Saint had quite a collection, including numerous cultivation techniques from various sects. What thrilled Peter most was that the Northern Saint had once defeated a Foreign Tribe Saint and acquired that Saint’s cultivation techniques. Although Peter couldn’t practice those techniques, he still mirrored them into his collection.
Mirror!
Without a moment’s hesitation, Peter mirrored all the cultivation techniques and items into his Elixir Sea.
Having exhausted the resources of the Northern Saint’s domain, Peter quickly moved on to others.
To his surprise, although all the Saints sensed a vague feeling of being watched, none could pinpoint Peter’s presence. Their curiosity eventually faded.
The two saints of Heaven and Earth were no ordinary Saints. They oversaw vast areas and, over their long lifespans, had each killed several Saints. Naturally, their collections contained cultivation techniques from the Foreign Tribes’ Saints and even insights into their own process of becoming Saints.
Peter’s actions were swift and calculated—he mirrored all of those treasures into his Elixir Sea.
It wasn’t just the Saints of the Human Clan. Even the Demon Clan’s Archsaints had their own impressive collections, and through the Faith Network, Peter’s gains were indeed monumental.
Looking at the towering bounty within his Elixir Sea, Peter couldn’t help but laugh. No one matched the methods he employed. All these sacred treasures of the Saints had become his possessions now.
Enough. Now was the time for Peter to digest and absorb these treasures.
Peter exited the Network.
Upon emerging from his cultivation area, Philips Williams was already waiting outside.
"Your Majesty, everyone has already assembled."
Peter raised his hand, and the twenty-nine Quasi-Saint-level experts from the Will Palace instantly appeared before Philips Williams.
Twenty-nine Quasi-Saints!
The moment they materialized, the area was suddenly flooded with a powerful wave of energy. The sheer pressure forced Philips Williams to kneel to the ground.
"Withdraw the pressure!"
Peter immediately realized what was happening and quickly instructed the Quasi-Saints.
As the oppressive energy receded, Philips Williams cautiously stood up, still shaken. He glanced at the group and stammered, "Qu... Quasi... Saints..."
Peter smiled and said, "They’re merely my subordinates. Nothing to be surprised about. Take them with you. Here’s a bottle of elixirs. With their assistance, this group of a hundred people can each ascend to the Void Saint level."
Philips Williams was utterly dumbfounded. He had long been aware that Peter had Quasi-Saint Protectors, and quite a few of them at that. But seeing twenty-nine appear at once made him feel an overwhelming sense of awe.
"Your Majesty, I, a humble servant, will attend to the matter immediately."
Philips Williams answered nervously.
"There’s no need to fear them. They now heed your commands. Just instruct them as you see fit."
Peter chuckled once again. These protectors weren’t anything extraordinary—just tools he had created for practical use when needed.
