Chapter 2157: Chapter 22155: The Power of a Saint

Peter Brown’s Star Kingdom shook the Demon Clan world.

Initially, everyone thought that with so many members of the Demon Clan arriving, they would definitely be able to kill Peter Brown. However, what nobody expected was that not only did they fail to kill Peter, but Peter actually defeated them.

What should they do? Should they just let Peter achieve Saint ascension in this Demon Clan territory?

At the mere thought of this, the Demon Clan strong persons’ faces twitched uncontrollably. This was something they absolutely could not tolerate. This was the territory of the Demon Clan. If Peter, a member of the Human Clan, were to claim it, wouldn’t the Demon Clan lose a sacred ground?

No way!

But, faced with attacks from all sides, the Saints each guarded their own regions, making it extremely difficult to leave, let alone converge here.

The last time the two Saints of the Demon Clan attacked the Human Clan, they adopted a lightning-fast strategy—striking instantly and retreating in the same moment. This time, with everyone closely watching, the Demon Saints were unable to act in a similar manner.

However, if Peter Brown isn’t repelled, it would spell danger for the Demon Clan.

Regardless of the attitude of other worlds, the top-tier members of the Demon Clan had reached a consensus: No matter what, Peter Brown must be eliminated, or at least driven away.

At this moment, Peter was sitting cross-legged, reflecting deeply.

Although he had managed to fend off the Quasi Saints’ attacks, Peter understood very well that while the difference between a Quasi Saint and a Saint might seem small, their actual combat abilities were drastically different—like Heaven and Earth. Given his current state, he was absolutely no match for a Saint; he wouldn’t even have the ability to counterattack.

Looking at his formations, Peter felt that his chances of survival were still quite slim.

What should he do?

This place had already become the foundation for Peter’s Saint ascension. If he abandoned it, he’d have to start all over again.

Yet, if he held his ground, what could he do? Could he really fight against a Saint?

Was there possibly a way to bring this altered area into his Elixir Sea?

Suddenly, Peter Brown had a new idea: the Elixir Sea and this place were essentially connected. Perhaps he really could absorb the fused land and, at the appropriate time, manifest a whole new world.

Peter was someone who acted as soon as he devised a plan, and he immediately began working on it.

Peter opened the space within his Elixir Sea and faced the altered area, commanding, "Absorb!"

As Peter’s will activated, the altered land began to move toward the Elixir Sea.

A space spanning ten miles!

Seeing the newly formed ten-mile area inside his Elixir Sea, Peter’s eyes gleamed.

This might actually work!

Examining the land more closely, Peter noticed that it hadn’t changed, merely shrunk into his possession.

Did this mean the Demon Clan’s world had been reduced by ten miles?

Peter felt a bit bewildered.

Nonetheless, this scenario provided Peter with a new glimmer of hope for Saint ascension. As long as he kept swallowing and altering land, once the amount of land he controlled reached a sufficient scale, could he then ascend to Saint status?

Thinking about this, Peter laughed. Previously, he’d worried that leaving this place would mean forfeiting his chance for Saint ascension. But now, no matter where he went, the chance for Saint ascension would still remain.

Glancing at himself, Peter clearly felt that the holy fate of Saint ascension persisted within him. Not only did it persist, but it had significantly strengthened.

It’s achievable!

With this newfound realization, Peter gazed upon the desolate plain with a broader smile. If he could specifically focus on absorbing land in No Man’s Land, Saints from various regions might not even detect such minute changes. Gradually accumulating over time, he could manifest a world within his Elixir Sea.

Looking again at the Elixir Sea, Peter was perplexed. Isn’t Saint ascension supposed to require two Galaxies? This time, all he did was alter a small area of the Demon Clan world.

Thinking further, Peter’s gaze turned to the boundless cosmos, and a new idea surfaced: perhaps his next step should be focused on the Galaxy. The endless star planets out there might be exactly what he needed to swallow.

For now, what he had absorbed was just a small section of the Demon Clan’s world.

Peter felt overwhelmed; he couldn’t make sense of everything at once, leaving him slightly bewildered.

Suddenly, Peter’s heart skipped a beat. Without further thought, he teleported out of the Elixir Sea.

As Peter teleported, he distinctly sensed the violent energy waves behind him.

This was something Peter had never experienced before.

Previously, regardless of how intense the energy waves were during teleportation, they hadn’t affected him. But this time, they shocked him. If he had delayed his teleportation even slightly, he might not have been able to teleport at all. It seemed there was a force strong enough to disrupt Elixir Sea teleportation.

The overwhelming energy came crashing down, leaving Peter with a deep sense of foreboding.

What Peter didn’t know was that, shortly after he left, a gigantic palm struck heavily upon the ten-mile area.

With the palm’s impact, all traces of life within that region vanished entirely.

A Saint’s palm strike!

A wave of Divine Sense spread out from the Demon Clan’s strong persons after the strike.

Upon witnessing the aftermath of the strike, the Demon Clan strong persons sighed with relief.

The palm strike had been incomprehensibly powerful; it completely annihilated the area, leaving behind a massive void in space. Everything that had existed there was obliterated, including all scattered willpower energy.

It’s destroyed!

Everyone conducted thorough investigations, but the results left them puzzled. No one could determine what had actually transpired.

"Peter Brown’s will seems to have disappeared!"

"Indeed. His will no longer exists here."

"Still, it feels like something is missing."

The Demon Clan’s strong persons continued deliberating over the aftermath of the palm strike.

The disappearance of the ten-mile area didn’t trouble these strong persons much; they assumed it was merely a consequence of the Saint’s palm strike.

In truth, even the Demon Saint remained perplexed. The palm strike was no trivial matter—it completely eradicated the area. Any will present should have been obliterated, yet something felt off. Though it seemed as if Peter was gone, the holy fate of that region appeared to have vanished mysteriously.

What exactly happened?

The Saint continued calculating endlessly, but no matter what he tried, he couldn’t decipher the situation.

With a long sigh, the Demon Saint withdrew his gigantic hand.

As the hand retreated, silence returned to the area.

Soon, silhouettes began to streak across the sky as numerous strong persons arrived on the scene.

"The Holy Will has disappeared as well!"

"What’s going on? Wasn’t this the Demon Clan’s chance to produce another Saint?"

Everyone was dumbfounded. Firstly, they couldn’t determine whether Peter Brown was alive or dead. Secondly, they had no clue where the holy fate had gone.
