Chapter 2134: Chapter 2132: The Role of Willpower.
Peter Brown originally had a Will Palace within the Elixir Sea, and now, after having absorbed those energies, when he followed the trail of this energy, he saw a Void Saint sitting cross-legged within that Will Palace, seemingly out of nowhere.
At a glance, Peter seemed to have complete control over everything about this Void Saint, and there appeared to be no issue in having it do whatever he desired.
What surprised Peter Brown even more was that as this figure appeared, many scattered energies from the battlefield began to converge and were engulfed by his Elixir Sea, entering into the Will Palace.
So it was the will of this Void Saint all along!
Seeing these energies gathering towards the newly-formed Void Saint, Peter Brown was truly more astonished; he had absolutely no idea what was happening.
Of course, it wasn’t that he had no clue at all. While Peter was puzzled, a stream of information poured into his Brain Domain.
As he started to make sense of this information, expressions of complexity began to surface on Peter Brown’s face.
The Will Palace was a center of power for him. Any will that entered there would be stamped with his brand, turning into his Guardian. These Guardians were presently not powerful, but with the infusion of energies, they would grow rapidly.
What’s most important is that all these Guardians were loyal to him, the products of his own will.
From now on, with each will absorbed, a Guardian would be born!
There is such a thing!
Looking around once more, the battle was growing ever more intense. Peter Brown found himself fortunate as the powerful energy attacks, although hitting all around him, never actually struck him.
Glancing down at the battlefield, Peter conjured the Earth Drilling Shield and directly burrowed underground.
Having found a spot unreachable by a Saint’s attacks, Peter Brown wrapped his will around the first Saint’s energy that invaded.
Now, Peter Brown realized that it wasn’t actually a Saint’s energy, but rather a hybrid created from the collective energy of Quasi Saints.
The attack was complete, and now, an abundance of Quasi Saint’s Energy lingered here.
Swallow!
Since the Will Palace had such a function, Peter naturally planned to absorb these energies one by one.
As they were Quasi Saint level grandmasters of the Battle Energy World, it took Peter considerable effort to absorb the energy of a single will.
However, what puzzled Peter Brown was that after absorbing that will energy, indeed, a virtual Quasi Saint appeared in the Will Palace, but the power of this Quasi Saint was even less than that of a Void Saint.
What could be the reason?
After pondering for a while, Peter realized that the other party had only injected energy and was not truly dead, likely having been transferred and left early with preparation.
Nevertheless, Peter Brown was not bothered by this now. As long as he could absorb the energy of a will, as soon as the individual stripped of will energy died, all their powers would converge to him.
A mysterious notion emerged.
Let’s set that aside for the moment; the will energies on the battlefield will dissipate quickly if not absorbed promptly.
The battle raged heatedly, but Peter Brown did not concern himself with the dynamics of their fight, simply continuing unstoppably to absorb the scattered wills around him.
A large number of people died, one after another, Virtual Saints and Quasi Saints fell on this battlefield, yet in the Will Palace of Peter Brown, virtual figures were sitting cross-legged one by one.
In just a short time, Peter Brown had collected over twenty Virtual Saints and six Quasi Saints.
Willpower Energy was flowing towards him, and Peter found his Star Rank rising rapidly.
At his current level, the upgrade of his Star Rank was not as fast as the improvement of his Realm.
Peter Brown didn’t really care about this. The situation on the battlefield was an opportunity for him, and although he didn’t know what use those Void Saints and Quasi Saints that turned into his guardians had, encountering such an event, there was no reason for Peter not to collect quickly.
When he sent out surveillance mosquitoes for investigation, Peter discovered that the previously energy-drained Quasi Saints from both sides had returned, and as a result, the battle intensified even more.
Looking up at the fierce battle between the great sword and the Magic Tools in the Azure Sky, Peter found that both items had already vanished.
Obviously, they were destroyed after losing their energy.
Glancing at the Giant Beings of the Demon Clan in the sky, Peter knew that they probably couldn’t hold on for much longer either.
However, it was clear that these giants, created using forbidden methods, were not weak, putting the Battle Energy World’s Saints in a somewhat awkward position.
But could this really last?
Peter didn’t know what other tricks the Demon Clan had up their sleeve.
"Fall into devilry!"
Just then, the Quasi-Saint level old man commanding the Demon Clan’s Army roared.
Following his roar, it was evident that the Battle Energy Saint’s expression changed dramatically.
The old man from the Demon Clan had already transformed into a stream of Demonic Energy, soaring into the sky and then rushing into the Giant Demon Saint’s body.
After he rushed in, the energy from Heaven and Earth could be seen flowing into that giant devil’s body.
What was he trying to do?
Peter was somewhat astonished.
Looking back at the virtual Demon Saint, as the old man transformed into energy and entered, its body became even more solid.
"Fall into devilry!"
Several more Quasi Saint Demon Clan members turned into Demonic Energy and surged into the giant demon’s body.
As the more solidified giant devil roared, a magic staff appeared in its hand.
It aimed the staff at the Battle Energy World’s Personnel below and unleashed a magical attack.
This magic was too powerful; as soon as it struck, it plowed the ground like a furrow, creating a deep trench, and then all the people in that area turned into nothingness.
After launching that attack, it continued with several more consecutive spells, directly eliminating a large portion of the Battle Energy World’s Quasi-Saint Level experts.
Peter now understood its purpose, which was to enhance the odds of winning for its side using this method.
Having lost so many Quasi Saints, the Battle Energy World’s Saints roared furiously and lunged toward the giant devil, and the battle between them became even more ferocious.
They’ve become blind with rage!
Although Peter knew some details of their battle, the only thing he could do now was to consume Willpower Energy voraciously.
Forget it, he couldn’t control them anyway.
Peter let out a bitter laugh; he used to think he was powerful, but now he realized he wasn’t that strong after all.
