Chapter 2095: Chapter 293: Discovery
After some thought, Peter Brown really couldn’t get past the psychological hurdle, knowing that there were a large number of the Human Clan here and not trying to rescue them made him feel somewhat uneasy.
This small courtyard seems to be unusable!
Realizing that someone had already discovered the presence of a large number of Human Clan, Peter decided to give up on this small courtyard.
Anyway, he had plenty of Devil Crystals. After some research, Peter went to a secluded place to buy another small courtyard, set up the teleportation formation and various other formations, and left a Puppet there to Collect the Faith Energy.
After finishing this task, Peter felt that he still needed to go and fetch some more humans.
He sold all of his collected Faith Energy and then exchanged it for a large amount of Devil Crystals.
When Peter returned to the slave market, this time he went on a massive buying spree of Human Clan slaves.
In the market, the Human Clan slaves were actually not expensive. Peter often collected them from various families and even found a person from the Demon Clan to help him search. As long as he purchased Human Clan members for him, he would give him a certain upgrade. In this way, the entire slave market knew that a wealthy man who was buying a large number of Human Clansmen had arrived.
In one day, Peter had almost bought all the Human Clan slaves available here.
Every Human Clan slave Peter saw, he bought without exception; not only Human Clan slaves but also a large number of various supplies for survival.
Every time he bought two hundred people, Peter would take them to the small courtyard and send them into the Elixir Sea.
After two days had passed, there were already hundreds of Human Clan members on Peter’s Elixir Sea Planet.
Looking at these Human Clan slaves, Peter felt sadder and sadder. The Demon Clan really did not treat them as humans, just as the animals in the zoo on Earth were treated, except that Human Clansmen were more obedient and could work.
Alright, he had done what he could, and there seemed to be no more Human Clan slaves left inside this city!
Peter activated the formation of the small courtyard and only left the courtyard after he had finished this task.
"Who are you, and why have you purchased a large number of Human Clan slaves?"
As soon as he left the courtyard, Peter saw that many of the Demon Clan’s People had surrounded the place, and one middle-aged man among them turned to ask Peter.
They still found out!
Peter had long known that someone would come to inquire eventually, and now the time had finally come.
Purchasing so many Human Clan members had attracted too much attention in the city.
"I spent my own money to buy slaves; it’s none of your business," Peter said in a grave voice, displaying the demeanor of a powerful Demon Clansman.
"I heard you purchased over seven hundred Human Clan slaves. Your small courtyard couldn’t possibly accommodate that many people. We suspect you are colluding with the Human Clan and need to search inside!"
Peter snorted disdainfully: "You have no right to search my residence."
After finishing his words, he retreated back into the yard and then activated the formation.
When they saw Peter act this way, the complexion of the leading Demon Clan General immediately darkened, and he ordered: "Search for me!"
He could see that there really was something suspicious about Peter.
The Demon Clan’s People charged toward the courtyard.
However, as they rushed in, they were unknowingly Teleported thousands of miles away once they entered.
This was a new Magical Space Array that Peter had set up, a very Awesome formation that directly Teleported people away.
The Demon Clan General, seeing that people did not come out after entering, panicked and strode into the yard himself.
Yet, to his surprise, he too was bafflingly Teleported away.
Being in a place thousands of miles away, the Demon Clan General was completely baffled, having no idea why such a situation occurred and could only rush back desperately.
Seeing that these people had already been Teleported away, Peter checked the concealment skills here once more, and then Teleported to another dwelling through the Elixir Sea.
After setting up several teleportation formations outside the city, Peter quickly departed.
Peter could completely imagine that his actions would definitely cause an uproar.
However, no matter what happened, he no longer cared.
After several Teleportations, Peter had arrived near the location where he was to fulfill his Task.
Without entering the city, Peter first set up the teleportation formation in various locations, made some arrangements to retreat, and then walked into the large city called Green Source City.
To kill a member of the Demon Clan with a Demon Core here?
Peter understood that a person with a Demon Core must have at least 2,000 Star Ranks.
Taking out a display device, Peter looked at it and found that the light signifying another person’s Task completion had not lit up, indicating that the guy had not arrived yet.
Seeing this device, Peter also became curious, wondering how the Human Clan’s Saint could have made such a thing that still functioned in this place.
Considering that Alden Martin had not arrived yet, Peter could only shake his head; that guy didn’t have the same means as himself and probably hid continuously on his way here, now it was unknown whether he was dead or alive.
Since he had arrived here, Peter naturally wanted to check out the situation in this city.
After wandering the streets for a while, Peter had figured it out; there were many temples here too, with Demonic Race’s Faith Energy continuously flowing into the temples.
Without saying anything more, Peter’s first step at each location was to arrange a small courtyard and then steal the Faith Energy from the other party.
Setting this up was something Peter had become very adept at, so proficient that he could do it with his eyes closed.
After secretly setting up the Faith Energy collection spaces in this city, Peter also established numerous teleportation formations in various places.
After finishing these tasks, Peter checked the coordinates of his Elixir Sea and saw many points of light were now shining.
Now Peter truly felt he had some confidence in this land of the Demon Clan.
As long as the Demon Clan’s People couldn’t kill him in one blow, there was the potential for him to escape!
Sitting cross-legged in the room, Peter looked over to the desolate planet of the Elixir Sea and was pleased with what he saw; the few hundred people seemed to be adapting to life there, with tools in hand, they were starting to build houses and other structures.
Feeling it again, the Faith Energy emanating from them began entering into the barren star, and with the infusion of Faith Energy, the desolate planet was now showing signs of Vitality.
Next step, bring more Human Clan members onto the desolate planet, and Peter believed that his Elixir Sea Planet would become Life Stars!
