"How many above the Hundred-Star Rank are there in King’s City?" Peter Brown inquired.

Philips Williams replied, "Prince, there are quite a few above the Hundred-Star Rank in King’s City now. If we consider the publicly known members of the Opposition Party, there should be about a dozen."

Peter merely smiled. A dozen people above the Hundred-Star Rank thinking of causing trouble?

While Peter was strategizing here, suddenly, someone rushed in, panic-stricken, shouting, "Report, Old Prince Daniel has led his forces to surround our Kingston House!"

"What?" Everyone present was shocked.

Jett Johnson exclaimed loudly, "Prince, this has been a long-planned move by Daniel Winchester, he must have been waiting for your return to make a move, what should we do now?"

Even Philips Williams was somewhat panicked as he said hastily: "Prince, Daniel Winchester must have some experts with him, he has at least five or six Hundred-Star Ranked experts, and even more above Fifty Star."

Without saying a word, Peter took the lead and walked out.

Standing at the gate, Peter looked and indeed, a large army had arrived, surrounding him tightly. If it were not for the defensive formation that Peter had previously set up and had Francis Miller activate at the first possible moment, they would have already broken in.

"Prince, the formation has been activated,"

Francis Miller quickly reported to Peter.

When Daniel Winchester roared, Peter felt movement behind him and dodged swiftly as a blade slashed towards him from behind.

Turning to look towards the person wielding the knife, Peter was unexpected met with Xandros Walker swinging his blade at him.

Looking further, Caleb Henderson also stepped forward.

"How dare you betray the Prince!"

Philips Williams pointed at the two men, furiously yelling.

Laughing, Daniel said, "They were originally my Winchester Dynasty’s Generals, deeply favored by the emperor, and now they are merely setting things right."

"They had sworn oaths!"

Philips Williams exclaimed.

Daniel laughed again, saying, "Don’t you know? An oath can be broken by someone who is ten levels higher, only those who know the times are truly great men. Peter Brown is finished; those who understand wouldn’t follow him. Philips Williams, if you’re wise, surrender, if not I shall extinguish your Soul Lamp!"

Peter did not speak, but his gaze fell on the two men and said, "Was Wavehider City your doing as well?"

"Peter Brown, although you saved us, Wavehider City belongs to the Purpolia Kingdom, the situation now has reversed, no one will follow you to their deaths. We did it for the army; once you die, everything will recover, and the Old Prince also said, let bygones be bygones!"

Nodding slightly, Peter then asked the others, "Who else shares this viewpoint, step forward now."

After hesitating for a moment, Sam Collins sighed, looked at Peter and declared, "I swear to stand with the Prince to the end."

"We will never betray!"

Jett Johnson also voiced loudly.

Peter’s gaze surveyed the surroundings, then he looked back at Daniel and said, "You must have been preparing for a long time, eh?"

Daniel was clearly very pleased with himself, giving a slight smile: "We thought our Winchester Lineage had no hope left, but the Heavens be praised, one of the places we control started producing holy energy, and then we produced a large number of experts. Although you, Peter Brown, are formidable, the Heavenly Dao supports our Winchester side; if not for waiting for you to fall into our trap, we would have already controlled King’s City!"

Peter laughed, "You’ve probably never been to the Purple Origin Mountain Range, have you?"

No one expected Peter to strike so quickly, Daniel too didn’t anticipate Peter would attack in this manner.

Because he relaxed thinking like this, when faced with the Heaven-Exploding Thunder thrown by Peter, he mistook them for mere energy bombs and his face showed a mocking smile.

However, just as he showed a mocking expression, the soul-shaking power burst forth.

After two huge booms, the people Daniel Winchester brought had mostly fallen; especially those who were the most powerful, Daniel always kept them close precisely because he feared Peter might have something up his sleeve.

Under the enormous explosive power, those people fell one by one, many turning directly into ash.

All who were alive stared dumbfounded ahead, none of them ever anticipated such a turn of events. Everyone had believed that Peter Brown had absolutely no chance of turning the tables, especially since him being trapped inside and out made his executions evident, and Daniel Winchester seemed to have sealed all his escape paths; today was supposed to be the day Peter Brown would die.

Yet, no one anticipated that Peter Brown still had such a trump card; what in the world was that Divine Artifact and how could it possess such immense power?

Looking back at where Daniel was standing and speaking just before, only a massive crater remained and Daniel Winchester’s corpse was no more.
