Chapter 1957: Chapter 1955: Taking

Peter Brown had not expected it to go so smoothly. After he had obtained the item, Peter Brown shouted loudly, "Retreat!"

Of course, his words were directed toward the three women and wolf.

Gabriella Graham and the other two women had already realized what was happening. As soon as they saw the Dragon Attracting Fruit drift away from the small tree, they knew that Peter must have succeeded. Receiving Peter’s command, they didn’t say another word and quickly made their escape by speeding away on foot.

At that moment, the fierce beasts within were still roaring furiously. They had no clue what had just occurred. Only when they heard Peter Brown’s shout did they realize humans were there stealing their fruits, which intensified their roars of anger.

Peter had already placed a type of talisman on the three women and the wolf that allowed him to sense their departure. He now felt that they had already left the cavern.

"Activate!"

At a command given to the puppet, several Heaven-Exploding Thunders were summoned from the hands of the puppet.

Suddenly, a series of violent explosions once again rocked the interior of the mountain cave.

Taking advantage of the chaos, Peter Brown flashed out of the formation and sprinted towards the entrance of the cave.

The fierce beasts, dazed by the blasts, did nothing to stop Peter Brown.

It was when Peter quickly entered the formation that he saw the three women were already there.

"Find a place to hide quickly. The fierce beasts will definitely go on a rampage!"

Peter led everyone into an underground space domain.

At this time, what they heard was the sound of frenzied stampeding from above; a horde of fierce beasts charged out of the cave.

"Master, if the fierce beasts start rampaging, they will certainly wreak havoc outside!"

Alice Thompson was also greatly frightened by the thought. They had mixed in with the packs of fierce beasts and had felt utterly powerless. The strength of these beasts was truly overwhelming. Had it not been for the powerful Heaven-Exploding Thunder, they doubted they could have done anything. The thought of a beast causing an uprising filled her with trepidation.

"Yes, I guess people outside will suffer now!" Gabriella agreed.

However, at this moment, Moira Johnson’s eyes shone as she exclaimed, "Master, did we really get the Dragon Attracting Fruit?"

Peter Brown cast several jade talismans, establishing a shielding formation before finally taking out the Dragon Attracting Fruit.

With the fruit’s appearance, everyone could see that it was truly beautiful; the fruit was purple, surrounded by streaks of purple light twinkling around it.

This time, Peter Brown had harvested quite a few Dragon Attracting Fruits. He had plucked every one of the hundreds of fruits from the tree.

Everyone received one fruit; even the White Wolf got one.

Seeing everyone’s gaze fixed on the fruit, Peter Brown said, "Right now, no one knows what will happen after we eat this fruit."

Moira Johnson replied, "That’s not a problem, I have a method to test if a fruit is edible."

Gabriella chuckled, "Of course it can be consumed. Otherwise, the fierce beasts wouldn’t guard them. What the master means is what might happen after we eat it."

Aster Smith looked at Moira Johnson and said, "Moira, you know the effects we experienced last time. This time, it’s likely the master might need you to release his energy as well."

Moira’s face immediately turned red, but she quickly lifted her head and said, "I am the master’s female slave, it’s nothing."

At that moment, everyone’s gaze suddenly turned to the White Wolf, who had transformed into a beautiful woman.

Seeing their looks, Peter Brown began to sweat; he definitely did not have such strong preferences.

The White Wolf seemed to understand and said with a human-like smile, "I’m aware of the Dragon Attracting Fruit. It will not cause any particular reaction. Many of the fierce beasts here have consumed it. After reaching the Hundred-Star Level, the fruit no longer has any effect. My ancestors ate it before."

Upon hearing this, everyone exhaled in relief. What they feared was an energy too powerful to bear which could potentially burst their bodies.

"White Wolf, does that mean it’s useless for you to consume it?"

"Not necessarily. It is said that after reaching the peak and consuming the fruit, there is one more chance to strengthen the body, which is also very beneficial for cultivation."

"Alright then, go ahead and consume it," said Peter.

Gabriella and Alice swallowed their fruits without hesitation, and the White Wolf did the same.

At this moment, Moira had not eaten hers yet but looked at Peter Brown and said, "I’ve consumed it."

Peter Brown simply nodded slightly.

His gaze settled on everyone, and as Peter looked around, he saw that both Gabriella and Alice showed no signs of an upgrade in their star rank, but their bodies were clearly undergoing changes induced by the Dragon Attracting Fruit.

Looking at the White Wolf, the beast had now completely reverted back to its wolf body, and subtle changes were occurring throughout.

The situation for Moira Johnson was entirely different. She seemed to be struggling, her star rank rapidly ascending. Yet, it was apparent that her body was finding it hard to cope.

"Master, it seems she can’t endure much longer. I’ll go up to defend," the White Wolf suggested wisely, noting Moira’s condition.

Dual cultivation would be necessary!

Peter realized that the Dragon Attracting Fruit was not as dangerous for fierce beasts, but it was quite hazardous for humans.

After a moment’s thought, Peter Brown conjured up a large bed and put it down. He then ate a fruit himself, stripped off his clothes, and undressed Moira Johnson before carrying her to the bed.

Moira Johnson was lucid enough to look at Peter, her face turned beet red, knowing what was going to unfold next.

The two women, who had already recovered, glanced at each other, chuckled, and stripped off their clothes to join them on the bed.

The bed was large enough that they were not crowded even with everyone on it.

Peter found that upon ingestion, his body was going through changes, and his star rank was rapidly ascending.

In just a moment, his cultivation had advanced by ten star ranks, reaching the Seventy-Star Level. And it didn’t stop there; he could feel all of his Life Stars splitting.

Was he approaching the Hundred-Twenty-Star Level?

Of course, he knew such progress was impossible.

When he looked at Moira again, the girl’s body was on the verge of collapse.

He embraced her, and without further ado, he penetrated her.

With a moan, the two began moving rapidly.

Energy was transferring between them, and with little regard for anything else, they just kept on moving.

As Peter looked at Moira, her cultivation was swiftly ascending. She had now broken through the Hundred-Star Level.
