Chapter 1921: Chapter 1919: Greatly Unexpected

As Charlie Evans fell, all the Heavenly Domain Sect experts who had arrived were already slain.

After cleaning up the items on the battlefield and destroying all the corpses, Peter Brown turned and headed towards King’s City.

He came quickly and left just as rapidly.

Thinking about what Charlie Evans had said about him not following the rules, Peter shook his head. In matters of war, who would talk about rules? Those who talk about rules are already dead.

Seeing Peter return, Philips Williams and the others wanted to ask but dared not; their gazes were all fixed on Peter.

"There’s nothing to worry about now. A man named Charlie Evans, ranked at the 84-Star Level, came with some people, and I killed them," said Peter in a very calm manner. However, when these words entered everyone’s ears, they were utterly shocked. They knew how powerful a person of the 84-Star Level was, and yet, they had stood no chance against Peter, which led them to realize just how formidable Peter must be.

After scrutinizing Peter from top to bottom for a while, everyone became even more puzzled: how did Peter emerge from such an intense battle against so many experts without any sign of injury? It was evident that his energy was in exceptionally good condition.

"Alright, everyone go back to your own business. There’s no need to admit to the killing of the Heavenly Domain personnel; just pretend you know nothing," he instructed.

At this point, he looked around at the people and said, "No matter what changes occur in King’s City, as long as there’s any power resisting us, obliterate it without hesitation. King’s City is our King’s City!"

Such dominance!

Feeling Peter’s assertiveness, everyone’s hearts were deeply stirred. No one knew the extent of Peter’s combat strength, but it was clear that when Peter said he could kill Hundred-Star Level people, it probably wasn’t just bragging.

"Please rest easy, Your Highness. We will cleanse King’s City thoroughly!" declared the gathered crowd, their confidence bolstered.

It would now depend on the Sects’ reactions!

With the recent slaughter of so many, Peter also wanted to showcase his power so that the Sects wouldn’t dare to act rashly. The deed was done, and if the Sects still sought battle, Peter was prepared to fight.

Of course, Peter had left the Heavenly Domain Sect with some face, not claiming openly that he was the killer.

"Your Highness, I have acquired some more of the various materials you requested. I’m not sure if it’s enough," Philips Williams said with a respectful demeanour.

Peter looked at him and said seriously, "Philips Williams, although I am not Winfield Winchester, as long as you follow me, I will still give you my full trust."

"I understand, with Lord Winfield dead, I will not have too many thoughts. In fact, ever since I followed Your Highness, I have seen more hope," said Philips.

"Hmm, just stay loyal to me. When I one day stand at the peak of the world, you will have a chance to be reborn!" Peter assured him.

Philips’s eyes lit up; he understood the implications of Peter’s words. He was no more than a spent force now, but if reborn, all of a man’s functions could be regained, and by following Peter, he might eventually stand in a high position—something he greatly desired.

Kneeling, Philips declared, "From now on, you are my master, and I vow to Heaven, should I betray you, let the Heavenly Dao strike me down!"

Peter, looking at Philips, knew that his loyalty came from the heart.

He nodded slightly and said, "Take on more responsibility for the entire Kingston House."

After speaking, Peter entered the Refining room. There was much to prepare for, and Peter had plenty of work yet to do.

While Peter was preoccupied with his own tasks, the various martial arts Sects were all stunned.

Everyone knew that Charlie Evans and his group had gone to challenge Peter, and all were secretly watching to see how the situation would unfold, even sending people into King’s City to covertly learn about the battle.

Regarding Peter, everyone was at a loss; they were clueless about the level of his cultivation.

But as they waited, they realized something significant had happened—the group that had arrived in a Beast-drawn Carriage, led by Charlie Evans, had suddenly disappeared.

What had happened?

After discovering their disappearance, the Sects were puzzled, but soon, they found the spot where Charlie and his group had died.

Though they couldn’t figure out how they had died, one thing was clear: this had been their place of death.

The Heavenly Domain Sect experts rushed to the site immediately.

Quentin Taylor’s expression soured at that moment.

"Deputy Sect Master, from what we can see here, there are traces of a formation activation, and even evidence of an explosion!" they reported.

They were all formidable individuals and grasped the situation at a glance, a theory beginning to form.

"It was Peter Brown!"

Clearly, although there were attempts to cover it up, the traces of the formation activation were not erased, making their intent all too apparent.

"Deputy Sect Master, this cannot go unsettled. He has killed so many of our people; we must make him pay a price!" disturbed voices echoed among the discussion.

Just then, to everyone’s surprise, Quentin Taylor extended his hand and with a release of energy, destroyed the evidence at the site.

"Deputy Sect Master?" everyone asked incredulously, unsure why he would do such a thing.

Quentin looked around at the people and asked, "Who among you could eliminate a person of the 84-Star Rank in such a short time, let alone with so many experts accompanying him?"

Indeed!

Silence fell suddenly upon the crowd.

Quentin looked at the 86-Star Ranked individual and asked, "Can you do it?"

Shaking his head, the elder said, "Not only can I not do it, but I suspect the Deputy Sect Master would also have a difficult time."

"Correct, I am capable of killing them, but I would not be able to do it so simply, so effortlessly, and I would surely be severely injured," Quentin confessed.

After a serious thought, everyone nodded inwardly; it was indeed a likely situation.

"If the adversary can dispose of them so effortlessly, what do you think would be the repercussions of our failure to kill him?" Quentin posited.

At this, everyone felt a cold sweat break out, realizing a crucial issue—each of them had sent people to spy on Prince Harvey’s Mansion, yet they hadn’t observed Peter leaving or entering, which could mean that he had some means of concealing his presence. If that was truly the case, his retaliation would be formidable indeed.

"Everyone should know, Charlie Evans and his group were challengers. If it is indeed his doing, that youngster is someone who plays by no rules. Considering such a person, does our Sect really need to erect such a formidable enemy?"
