Chapter 1913 - 1911: I Am Not Your 14th Highness

Chapter 1913: Chapter 1911: I Am Not Your 14th Highness

Since he had decided to reveal his true identity, as soon as Peter Brown returned to his residence, he summoned everyone over.

He looked over each person intently, and Peter Brown said, "There’s something I need to tell you all."

"Your Highness?" Everyone was puzzled, not understanding what Peter Brown was about to say. With curious gazes, they turned toward him. Jett Johnson had a premonition and was about to speak.

But Peter Brown gestured with his hand for silence and said solemnly, "All of you have followed me on this journey and are my trusted confidants. I want to ask you, just how deep is your loyalty to me?"

At this, Francis Miller immediately knelt down and said, "Your Highness, I am absolutely loyal to you."

Everyone followed suit, kneeling to declare their stance.

"You may rise. There is something I don’t wish to hide from you any longer. The aim of every Sect is quite clear; they wish to dismantle the Purpolia Kingdom. I’m sure you are all aware of this. At this critical time, I want to share a heartfelt truth with you—I do not wish to see the nation fall. What I hope for is that this Divine Nation endures forever."

"As long as Your Highness commands, your servant will follow your every lead!"

Peter Brown’s attitude, however, was very resolute.

"I am not your prince. Would you still heed my words?" Peter Brown then asked.

This question left everyone stunned.

Peter Brown looked toward Jett Johnson, then at the others and said, "Actually, Prince Winfield Winchester, your beloved fourteenth prince, died in the battle outside of Wavehider City. By fortune, I possess certain abilities that allowed me to borrow his identity and appearance."

"What?"

Everyone’s eyes widened in shock, taken aback by the revelation.

At this moment, Peter Brown began to revert to his original appearance.

Under everyone’s gaze, Peter Brown completely transformed back into his true self.

Sam Collins looked at Peter Brown, wanting to say something, but found himself at a loss for words. His thoughts turned to his daughter, who was openly married to Prince Harvey, but in truth, it was this man called Peter Brown who had lain with his daughter. What was he to do?

It was then that Peter Brown spoke, "I’m unsure of your thoughts, but make no mistake about one thing—if it were Winfield Winchester leading you, you’d either be dead by now or reduced to servants of the other princes. You understand the consequences, don’t you?"

Upon hearing these words, everyone suddenly thought of many things. Indeed, they all knew the situation with Prince Harvey—if they had truly followed him, their fate would have been miserable.

Seeing the situation, Jett Johnson stepped forward, knelt before Peter Brown, and exclaimed loudly, "Your subordinate, Jett Johnson, greets Your Highness. Regardless of your identity, I serve only you. My loyalty is to you as a person, not anybody else. Should Your Highness need it, I swear lifelong fealty to you!"

Jett Johnson’s words led everyone to contemplate deeply. Indeed, it seemed that only by following this man called Peter Brown would they have a future.

"Your Highness, I, Francis Miller, am also loyal to you as my person. No matter your identity, you are my master in my heart!"

Seeing that Jett Johnson had paid his respects, and considering that his daughter was, after all, a woman of Peter Brown, Sam Collins felt relieved. He turned to Peter Brown and asked, "May I inquire what Your Highness intends to do moving forward?"

"All remains the same, but what I am set on doing is uniting the Purpolia Kingdom and establishing a new nation. Joyce shall be my Queen!"

"Your subordinate greets Your Highness and wishes to pledge loyalty to you."

Following Sam Collins’s kneeling, Austin Hall and others who had always followed Peter Brown naturally knelt as well. To them, it had always been Peter Brown they revered.

Peter Brown looked over the group and, after bidding them to rise, went to sit down and said, "It pleases me greatly that you hold such attitudes."

"Your Highness, please continue to use ’I’ as your preferred form of address. In our eyes, that is the title you ought to have," urged Jett Johnson earnestly.

With a smile, Peter Brown replied, "Very well, then ’I’ it shall be."

Continuing on, Peter Brown said, "There are some matters that need to be explained to you. I have received a very powerful inheritance. Within this inheritance, there are many techniques that beyond what I’ve taught you, allow me to contend with a Hundred-Star Powerhouse!"

"What?"

Although everyone was aware of Peter Brown’s strength and hidden abilities, the thought that he could challenge a Hundred-Star Powerhouse was astounding to them.

"Your Highness, what about the Heavenly Domain Gate?"

Jett Johnson queried.

"Yes, the Sub-rudder of the Heavenly Domain Gate was something I dealt with alone. Not only that, but just a while ago, I also entered the Beast Sect and defeated a Sixty Star Level person, thus revealing my identity."

Information was flooding in, and everyone’s eyes shifted, looking at Peter Brown with a new perspective.

If before they were voluntarily aligning themselves with him, now their choice to side with him was filled with expectancy. With Peter Brown’s formidable strength, their alignment would indeed bring them benefits.

"Your Highness, what do you plan to do?"

"Now that I’ve revealed my identity, it’s time to confront the Sects head-on. So, we’ll head back to King’s City. When it comes to it, the Sects will have two main choices—either declare war on me or acknowledge my presence and coexist peacefully."

Sam Collins sighed and said, "Your Highness, judging from the Sects’ actions, they covet the holy energy and are unlikely to relinquish any benefits."

Peter Brown nodded and replied, "Hence, for us, the plan now is to return to the King’s City of the Purpolia Kingdom and take the entire nation under our control."

Jett Johnson added, "Your Highness, if you were to take the Purpolia Kingdom in Winfield Winchester’s name, it would be seen as legitimate. However, if you do so as yourself, many will likely defy you."

"I have thought about this," Peter Brown replied. "Since it’s impossible to convince everyone, then they shall be compelled to acknowledge us through force."

This was the determination to battle against all rival powers!

Now everyone understood Peter Brown’s intent; he did not necessarily aim to take the Imperial Throne of the Purpolia Kingdom but rather to forge a nation of his own.

Austin Hall then said determinedly, "Your Highness, ever since you rescued us, the Wind and Thunder Army, you became our lord. We only serve you, and all generals and soldiers of the Wind and Thunder Army are at your beck and call. At a single command, the Wind and Thunder Army will fight for you in all directions!"

Peter Brown smiled and replied, "You won’t regret your decision. I believe we will have a bright future!"
