Chapter 1863: Chapter 1861 Prince Harvey is not a Weakling
Everyone truly did not know how assertive Winfield would be, as he directly captured a bunch of the guards of Hell’s Heaven.
Xander Army had likewise not anticipated that things would evolve in such a direction; they stood there somewhat stupified, thankfully, Prince Samuel stepped forward. He too wanted to see how Prince Samuel would handle the matter.
Almost everyone turned their eyes toward Prince Samuel.
At this moment, when Prince Samuel glanced around, he understood in his heart that today’s affairs represented his own authority, no matter what he had to capture or at least drive away Winfield, otherwise it would be a severe blow to his prestige, and this was not the outcome he wanted to see.
Thinking of this, Prince Samuel’s face grew overcast as he looked towards Peter Brown and said, "Harvey, after the Father Emperor ascends to heaven, naturally it is I, this Prince, who will oversee the nation. The handling of Sam Collins is a matter of joint deliberation by the court officials, and the verdict has been set. Anyone who opposes it is opposing the nation; you must not act recklessly!"
Clearly, Prince Samuel had already put himself in the position of the Emperor, using the nation’s power to threaten Peter Brown.
If it had been the Winfield of the past, he probably would have had a hard time retaliating and would have considered the strength of the nation, but Peter Brown simply did not entertain such notions. He looked towards Philips Williams with a stern voice and said, "What are you doing stopping? Get in there and rescue people."
Naturally, Philips Williams was a subordinate who followed Peter Brown’s will. Having heard Peter Brown’s words, he respectfully said, "Please rest assured, Your Highness."
Following his words, Philips Williams shouted to the eunuchs, "Attack!"
Xander Army also had not expected that Prince Harvey would still disregard the very presence of Prince Samuel and directly order an attack, leaving him somewhat befuddled.
Not just him, the onlookers likewise looked at Peter Brown with perplexed eyes, and in their hearts, they all felt a shock. This Prince Harvey, whom they had always considered weak, was actually such a character.
From today’s events, everyone felt they were seeing a completely different Prince Harvey.
That can’t be right; how could Prince Harvey be so assertive?
The watching princes were even more shaken in their hearts. Was this still the Harvey they knew?
No one could clearly understand Peter Brown’s thoughts. In their eyes, challenging the nation was an unwise act. However, now that Peter Brown had taken such a step, everyone upon reflection realized that their previous thoughts might indeed have been problematic. In the current situation, Winfield’s actions were actually not wrong. Could it be that Prince Samuel really represented the nation?
After pondering this notion, the thoughts of the various princes changed as well. Today was a contest between Prince Samuel and the other princes. If Winfield were repelled, Prince Samuel’s faction would inevitably see a great increase in power, while that of the princes would be defeated—an outcome none of the princes wanted to see.
Now, even Prince Edward, Prince Harvey, and others exchanged glances, and suddenly there was an unspoken understanding among them.
They could not let Prince Samuel gain the upper hand!
At this time, they had all made up their minds.
However, they also wanted to see what else Winfield could do.
At this moment, Philips Williams led his men toward the front.
Along the way, anyone who came to stop them was taken down by Philips Williams and his team.
As those men were subdued, The Xander Army recovered somewhat, anger surged in his heart. This incident was a challenge to him as well, one which he could not tolerate. Besides, he had long since secretly pledged his allegiance to Prince Samuel; in his view, it was Prince Samuel who was capable of ascending to the throne.
Glancing at Prince Samuel, what Xander Army saw was the killing intent in the Prince’s eyes.
Seeing that gaze, Xander Army said to Peter Brown, "Your Highness, if you don’t call off your men now, don’t blame this General for being rude."
"It’s fine, you can be as impolite as you like, for I am determined to save these people today!"
Peter Brown appeared unconcerned. Today’s purpose was clear: to establish his might and to rescue people, the larger a commotion the better to demonstrate his own power.
"Your Highness, forgive my offense!"
Convinced that he had made his stance clear, Xander Army pounced toward Philips Williams and his group.
As Xander Army’s aura flared, he displayed the might of a Twenty-Seven Star Level.
Observing the change in Xander Army’s aura, the onlookers were also shaken in their hearts, not expecting him to possess such formidable cultivation.
In Prince Samuel’s eyes, delight shone through at that moment. He had put in quite some effort to win over the allegiance of the Xander Army. The power of sects was not something he could harness, so the imperial court’s experts became the focal point of their struggle. Seeing the Xander Army move to action pleased Prince Samuel, knowing that once Xander Army made his move, there would be no possibility for Prince Harvey’s subordinates to stop him.
However, what Prince Samuel and the rest did not anticipate was that as soon as Xander Army charged forward, he was ensnared in a super Ten Absolute Array formed by fifty people—a formation specially designed by Peter Brown to target those with high cultivation.
The Ten Absolute Primordial Array!
This was no ordinary formation.
As soon as Xander Army was trapped in the formation, Philips Williams announced in a deep voice, "Energy Bomb!"
Along with his loud shout, a Talisman, capable of harming someone at the Thirty Star Rank, was secretly sacrificed.
This was an Exploding Talisman, specifically given to Philips Williams by Peter Brown to be mixed secretly into the Ten Absolute Array’s Energy Bomb attack.
If it were just the Energy Bomb, Xander Army would have truly not cared much. After all, Prince Samuel had secretly obtained Peter Brown’s Energy Bomb, and Xander Army had even secretly tested the power of such an Energy Bomb. In his view, no matter how potent the Energy Bomb, it could not pose a threat to him—the reason he disregarded the eunuchs’ formation.
Unfortunately for him, Peter Brown had anticipated this and secretly gave Philips Williams two Talismans that could take him down.
Amidst the tremendous explosion of the Energy Bomb, the entire Ten Absolute Primordial Array appeared instantly chaotic, and no one saw Philips Williams secretly sacrificing the Talismans.
The massive attack power unfolded at once, and with a shockingly loud boom, the once vigorous Xander Army was suddenly blasted to the ground.
Looking at Xander Army again, the spectators’ faces changed color. The once mighty Xander Army now lay there motionless for a good while, breath dissipating from his body.
How could this happen?
Even Prince Samuel watched Xander Army wide-eyed and dumbfounded.
This was a strong person he had obtained at heavy cost—how could he be so easily defeated?
