The method for guiding was not complex—simply splattering a mouthful of blood onto the Star-guiding Sphere naturally established a connection with the Life Star.

After spitting out a mouthful of blood, when Peter extended his Divine Sense, he indeed saw a Life Planet that was much larger than Earth.

At a glance, Peter saw it was an ancient planet, its people had not progressed to a highly advanced society; it was as if they were still in the Earth’s Warring States Period.

Yet Peter paid no attention to any of that. After guiding the star, as the master, his task was now to harvest the life energy.

First, he fed his consciousness into the Life Planet and immediately found the consciousness previously embedded by the person who had seized that Life Planet.

Fortunately, although the former master was powerful, they had died.

Facing the uncontrolled consciousness, Peter used his own formidable power to expel those consciousnesses.

With Peter’s expulsion, the consciousnesses started to dissipate.

Peter was in no rush; such things required time and differed from Life Planets that weren’t controlled by any consciousness.

After a day, the consciousness on this Life Planet had been entirely purged.

With the dispelling of those consciousnesses and their dissipation, Peter poured his consciousness into the Great Star.

Another day passed and Peter palpably felt he had taken control of the planet.

With control came a continuous flow of Life Energy towards him.

It had begun!

At the arrival of this life energy, Peter knew that if there was a proper blend with the Heavenly and Earthly Energy, he could maintain balance and truly command the entire planet, thus obtaining a Star Rank.

Life Energy flowed into him from one side, and powerful energies from the External World infused him from the other, as Peter wholly submerged himself in this absorption.

The relentless energy struck like a tempest, and Peter felt as though he was amidst turbulent waves.

However, Peter understood it was crucial to remain steady; if he could just hold on, he would succeed.

His body was experiencing a tearing sensation, and at any moment he might have to stop.

Another day passed, and a revelation struck Peter. As he gazed within, he saw that the starscape below his navel had a new Star Planet.

It was done!

Feeling he could absorb the planet’s energy at any time, a calm washed over Peter.

Four Stars!

From that moment on, Peter knew he had entered the ranks of the Four-Star cultivators.

He could continue to absorb stars!

After assessing his condition, Peter, sitting cross-legged, regulated his breathing for a while before beginning the process of star absorption again.

Three days later, the sitting Peter opened his eyes.

Peter realized how the absorption of Life Energy worked. Using life energy during combat wasn’t a problem; it was the replenishment of Celestial Energy that was key. People of higher Star Ranks had more life energy, seemingly inexhaustible; however, in battle, the replenishment of Celestial Energy was critical, as a delayed replenishment could cause internal issues and degrade the individual’s Star Rank.

The matter was complex, but Peter had grasped the essentials.

Another vital point was not that members of the Divine Race couldn’t obtain Life Planets, but rather the body’s limitations during absorption.

After absorbing five planets, Peter distinctly understood he could no longer continue; his body was simply unable to bear the enormous energy of another Life Planet.

Rising from his seated position, Peter dismantled the formation he had set up and then walked out of the room.

"Greetings, Your Highness."

As he stepped outside, Peter saw two beautiful young girls kneeling to the ground, while Philips Williams was kneeling there too.

"Rise."

The three rose, and Philips took a glance at Peter, smiling, "Your Highness, have you had any gains?"

Formerly, Prince Harvey had concealed his cultivation, only revealing a Three-star status. Now, Peter showed the same level, so Philips could not discern Peter’s true Star Rank.

"Philips Williams, how can we accelerate this process of the body absorbing stars?" Peter asked.

Philips replied, "Your Highness, there are no shortcuts to this. As you are aware under normal circumstances, one can only consume substances that enhance the body’s tenacity, including Elixirs, divine items, and certain Cultivation Techniques. The Royal Body Tempering Secret is quite effective."

Peter could tell Philips didn’t have a better solution, so he just nodded slightly.

"Your Highness, there’s no need to rush. As long as you master the advanced levels of the Royal Body Tempering Secret, reaching ten stars should not be a problem."

Prince Harvey’s Ring did, in fact, contain the Royal Body Tempering Secret, which Peter recalled from memory.

But despite recognizing its value, the technique was limited and of little help to someone capable of reaching only the Ten-Star Realm like Peter.
