Chapter 1796: Chapter 1794 Prepare the Troops for Battle
Peter Brown had now established his own foundation, although these people had been his subordinates before, at that time, they were not loyal to him. Now, however, the situation had changed, with over ten thousand people whom he had rescued, and everyone had chosen him as their object of loyalty.
Of course, Peter fully understood that to truly make these people loyal, there was still a lot to be done.
Nevertheless, things were quite good now, with ten Seven-Star people in hand. He would teach them the Ten Absolute Array, an even more powerful formation than the Seven-Star Formation, capable of combining the power of ten people for attacks. Even ten-star figures could barely contend with it.
"You seven will serve as the main force and thus won’t need to personally command the troops," he told them. "I will teach you the Ten Absolute Array. When you combine your powers, you will have the strength to match that of ten-star people. Regroup those ten thousand for me, select five leaders, and have them teach the Seven-Star Formation. I want these ten thousand to quickly form a powerful fighting force."
Caleb Henderson and others were visibly astonished when they heard that ten people working together could match the power of ten-stars. They had genuinely not anticipated such a mighty formation.
Everyone departed to organize the troops, and after examining the situation, Peter did not order a move. This place was easy to defend but hard to attack, making it quite advantageous.
Dennis Brown and some others stayed to guard the entrance, while Peter was busy inside the tent, inscribing Energy Bombs with great fervor. These Energy Bombs were a game changer for Peter, the foundation of his development; with them, he was invincible.
Initially, Peter worked on Energy Bombs only within his own tent, but seeing that the space was too small, he later set aside an inner area entirely for setting up the Energy Gathering Array.
Peter’s inscribing speed had increased significantly, and he was able to inscribe a Divine Stone every few minutes.
While doing this, Peter also took the time to teach Caleb Henderson and his nine companions the Ten Absolute Array, and then all the troops practiced the Seven-Star Formation.
Besides developing the small-scale Seven-Star Formations, Peter had groups of seven form a larger Seven-Star Formation. 49 people made up a large group, enabling even one-star individuals to exhibit the power of five stars, and two-stars could directly emit the power of seven stars. The higher the level, the stronger the power they demonstrated.
Peter knew he would soon face battle after battle, not only external but potentially internal conflicts as well. Various powers were converging, and without the ability to defend themselves, they were genuinely vulnerable.
Initially, the morale of these prisoners of war wasn’t very high, but as the Seven-Star Formation was taught and they practiced forming it, they realized just how potent it was. Previously, each had fought alone, and encountering someone even just one star above could lead to defeat. Now, they no longer had such worries. Just seven one-star individuals together were enough to contend with a three-star opponent, drastically reducing the likelihood of death. With the larger Seven-Star Formation, they could even battle against five-star opponents and possibly trap several of them.
Discovering the power of these formations, everyone’s fighting spirit dramatically surged.
Caleb Henderson and his group were even more astonished. The Ten Absolute Array far exceeded the power of the Seven-Star Formation. When they grouped, each could lend their strength to the others, two could suppress a seven-star, five could suppress an eight-star, and ten could match ten-star opponents evenly.
Seeing such powerful formations reinforced their vigor, and they knew their army was now far from ordinary.
"All soldiers present, take an oath of allegiance!"
Caleb Henderson was a wise man, aware that the formations Peter taught were extremely powerful and must not be leaked.
The Divine Realm had its unique methods to prevent leaks, and they used the power of vows to safeguard these secrets.
Peter wasn’t very familiar with this but left it all to the ten loyal Seven-Star experts.
Caleb was the first to step onto a constructed altar and loudly declared, "I, Caleb Henderson, hereby swear loyalty to Prince Harvey Winfield Winchester, to never betray, never to reveal the secrets of the Ten Absolute Array, the Seven-Star Formation, or the Energy Bombs. Should I even think of betraying these secrets, or if someone attempts to probe these secrets within my mind, may the content of these formations be utterly destroyed. If I act against this oath, may the Heavenly Disaster strike me, and my soul perish!"
Watching Caleb make his vow, Peter recalled Caleb explaining about this altar. Once an oath was made upon it, the content of the vow became nearly impossible to leak. Any attempt to do so would erase that part of their consciousness.
Peter didn’t understand the principle behind it, but knowing that the secrets of the formations could be kept safe for a while was a relief.
Watching everyone make their vow, Peter also ascended the altar to make his own, as Caleb had requested, ensuring his own secrets remained safe.
"I, Winfield Winchester, also known as Peter Brown, hereby swear that the Cultivation Techniques and formations I teach, without my express consent, must not be secretly taught to others, otherwise, may the Heavenly Dao erase such content from their consciousness..."
Peter’s voice was barely audible to himself. After making his vow, he distinctly felt a sweeping glance of Heavenly Dao’s will before it retracted.
Was there truly such a thing as oversight by the Heavenly Dao?
At that moment, Peter developed a sense of reverence for the Heavenly Dao, surprised by its presence in the Land of the Divine Realm.
After over ten thousand had taken the oath, Caleb was even more thrilled than Peter, laughing heartily, "Your Highness, from now on, these ten thousand soldiers will be loyal to you. What we need to do is continue to strengthen our power."
Looking at everyone, Peter said, "Besides the formations, each of you will also receive an Energy Bomb. With these, your combat power will be formidable, and our army will sweep through this region."
For the next period, the ten Seven-Star experts supervised as the Energy Bombs were distributed. Peter knew it was almost time. A grand battle was imminent.
