Having dined with his parents on Earth, Peter was not hungry. Once back in the Sanctuary, he drained the water from the tank, refilled it, and then began to cook the Foundation Establishment Medicine Soup.

Lacking better techniques didn’t bother Peter much; if he could achieve Foundation Establishment, that was enough. For the next step, with his own Crystal Core Gun, he trusted there was no reason he couldn’t do well.

Soaking in the Foundation-building Soup was intended to transform his Power status. Peter soaked there, circulating his Cultivation Technique while he soaked.
