Chapter 1738: Chapter 1736 A Sudden Shift
Shortly after Peter Brown and the Elegant Nation’s Cultivation World concluded their business, an event that shocked the entire world occurred.
Even Peter Brown was taken by surprise with the way things unfolded. He had never anticipated such an event to take place.
Firstly, Europe suddenly saw the emergence of a large number of Vampire Clans, who declared themselves the Bloody Clan. They had discovered Earth a long time ago and had already arrived. Since Earth was not yet part of the Virtual Cosmic Network, which meant that Earth remained in a protected state, they could only live hidden among us and dared not target Earth. However, with Earth’s integration into the Virtual Cosmic Network and the subsequent invitations issued by Earth’s nations, they were now completely able to reveal themselves and move freely.
The Bloody Clan was an interstellar evil species. In their quest to plunder Earth and traffic Earthlings, they had long been prepared. Thus, their warships hidden within the earth’s core surfaced one by one.
In an instant, all of Europe was overrun.
As the Bloody Clan made their appearance, the Sphinx of Africa suddenly radiated light, and then an alien species known as the Lion Clan revealed their identity. They too had arrived on Earth a long time ago. In a blink, African lands were assaulted by their UFOs, succumbing to conquest one region after another.
The Northern Bear Tribe, Island Serpent Clan, Middle Eastern Stone Clan, Southern Elephant Clan...
One by one, alien species occupied various regions of Earth.
At that time, dragons surged out of the oceans, indicating the arrival of the Dragon Clan.
Peter Brown was dumbfounded to see dragons appear, never expecting the Elegant Nation’s long-standing claim of being descendants of dragons to be true.
But everyone knew in their hearts that these dragons were not the kind that were friendly towards the Human Clan.
The Dragon Clan evidently was also a dominant species, and upon their appearance, they swiftly took over large territories of the Elegant Nation.
In the areas where the dragons in the Azure Sky appeared, very few people could mount any resistance.
The armies of various nations went to war against these species, but the alien forces, having prepared for many years, were far too powerful for Earth’s humans to handle. As military forces crumbled one after another, different places fell into enemy hands.
Luckily, with the help of Flying Cars, Peter Brown’s family managed to arrive at Flower Creek Village right away.
Having learned of the situation around the world through the AI, Peter Brown’s face turned grim. He did not expect that the members of different alien species had actually been on Earth for a long time, just waiting for this opportunity. With Earth’s accession to the Virtual Cosmic Network, they naturally found the occasion they needed to act.
"Peter, alien forces are everywhere now. Many people have surrendered," said Kate Brown, her face already pale with fright.
"That’s right, surrendering might even be for the better. I’m afraid they’ll sell people off-world. I’ve heard they administer the Gene Medicine to people for free, even to those who haven’t received it yet, and then cart them off to spaceships, claiming they’ll be sent off Earth," said the parents, their faces filled with terror.
"How did so many aliens suddenly arrive? Weren’t they supposed to come later?" asked the mother, her anxiety mounting.
All eyes turned to Peter Brown, knowing he might be the only one capable of handling the situation.
Just then, Peter Brown received a phone call from the chairman.
The chairman spoke gravely, "Peter, you’re likely aware of the situation on Earth right now. No one expected those from outer space to have their sights set on us for so long. Seizing the moment Earth joined the Network, they aim to carve up our planet to traffic Earthlings!"
Clearly, nobody knew what to do anymore.
"Your weapons don’t work against them, do they?" asked Peter.
"Exactly, we have launched attacks, but they have no effect on species like the dragons. If this continues, we won’t be able to resist any longer. I don’t know if you have a way to resolve this," the chairman replied.
At that moment, Peter was looking at his Kindness energy. With one glance, his expression changed as well. The world was in chaos, and the incoming Kindness energy was not plentiful.
Although Peter had stored quite a lot of Kindness energy, the amount he required was astronomical. Without sustained replenishment, his only option would be to enter the Holy Sanctuary and never return to Earth again.
Now, like everyone else, Peter knew he had to save Earth.
"Senior, don’t worry, I will handle this matter," he assured.
"Whatever you need, as long as we can provide it, we will support you with all our might," said the chairman, now a bit more hopeful upon hearing Peter had a plan.
After the call, Peter shook his head in private, regretting his unwitting actions that had put Earth in this dire predicament. It seemed the situation could only be resolved by himself.
"Charge my Flying Car!" Peter told Salina.
"Charging initiated." The Flying Car began the charging process.
"Peter, what are you going to do?" his father asked, puzzled.
"I caused this situation, but luckily, I have some preparations. The strongest alien forces have not yet arrived. With my flying vehicle, they can’t beat me," he explained.
"But you’re just one person!" they all said, deeply concerned.
"Don’t worry. My Flying Car isn’t just any ordinary one. Both its defensive and offensive power are tremendous. It’s more than enough to deal with these aliens hidden on Earth."
By the end of his words, the Flying Car was fully charged.
"Stay here, all of you. The defense system I’ve set up is bulletproof, and there won’t be any issues," Peter assured them.
With that, Peter started his Flying Car and quickly flew off into the distance.
"Salina, closely monitor the situation everywhere. Notify me immediately if you spot any aliens," he instructed.
"Peter, Kingston is about to fall. A large number of the Dragon Clan has arrived, and we can’t hold out," said the military leader when he called.
"Destination, Kingston. Proceed at maximum speed!" Peter commanded.
Now that Kingston was in peril, Peter naturally made it his first stop.
Along the way, the AI continually reported the situation in various places. By now, Peter realized that Earth was in complete disarray. Countless members of the Human Species had been herded into flying vehicles, ready to launch at any moment.
For the first time, Earthlings understood that Peter Brown’s predictions about the alien arrival were true. As they remembered the warnings he had given earlier, every face showed a look of utter despair.
To be sold off as slaves.
When thinking this may be everyone’s fate, there wasn’t a person whose heart wasn’t heavy.
Who could save Earth’s humans at this moment?
It was only then that everyone started to look up to the mysterious scientist, Peter Brown.
Perhaps, if there was a glimmer of hope for Earthlings, that hope lay with Peter Brown.
