Chapter 1729: Chapter 1727: A Great Harvest
The gas elimination bomb was indeed an awesome weapon. A large area of air was sucked away, and inside the bomb, a massive amount of freezing gas was generated. Even the fiercest beasts, after being injured and then encountering such a weapon, could no longer resist. Deprived of air and under the force of that freezing power, even the most formidable beasts fell.
The power of the gas elimination bomb combined with the authority of two fierce beasts silenced a large area quickly, and the wild animals all fled far away.
Watching through the satellite as the two fierce beasts died, Peter Brown didn’t rush forward recklessly but remotely controlled an unmanned aircraft to fly to the location of the beasts. He even used the drone to ram the beasts to ensure they were indeed lifeless before he quickly drove the flying car over.
Upon arriving at the scene, Peter further sensed the ferocity of the two beasts. Not only were their corpses present, but there were also many other fierce beasts and flying beasts that even Peter could not defeat.
Seeing this, Peter didn’t think further and promptly used the power of the Portal to summon robots from Earth, and immediately began slicing with a cutting knife, mainly searching for crystal cores.
Of course, the first ones he aimed to find were the crystal cores of the two strongest fierce beasts.
Though the skins of the beasts were thick, under Peter’s high-tech cutting tools, it wasn’t long before the crystal cores of the long-nosed elephant and the dinosaur-shaped beast were located.
Looking at the two shimmering crystal cores, each the size of a basketball, Peter immediately mounted one of the crystal cores onto his Crystal Core Gun.
After mounting it, Peter truly took a deep breath of relief, now he really had the power to protect himself.
What about the many corpses of fierce beasts?
Looking at the mountain-like corpse of the long-nosed elephant, Peter started to feel troubled.
Clearly, he could feel a very powerful energy fluctuation emanating from these bodies.
But he believed, this meat was definitely something valuable.
Never mind, first get it to Earth and make it into canned food.
In any case, Peter didn’t want to just throw these things away.
In the following time, Peter was truly busy as robots kept being sent in, and after reaching Earth, Peter had the AI set up production lines to manufacture canned food.
For the AI, this was really not a big deal, just a matter of maintenance.
Two production lines were set up: those that could produce canned food did so, and those that couldn’t were used to pack the meat in bags, then all that was needed was to ensure the quality was preserved.
The flying car kept operating here, with robots handling the transport.
Every wild beast Peter saw, he sent them all over to Earth.
After all, with so many wild beasts, Peter could only turn more of them into a preserved form and store them there.
Peter had a feeling that this meat might very well become his first bucket of gold in the Land of the Sanctuary.
He couldn’t let it go to waste!
Perhaps the battle here was so astonishing that, for over ten days straight, no fierce beasts came near, and even some wild animals steered clear, allowing Peter time to finally clean up all the animals that had been killed or wounded in the area.
This time, Peter could say it was a major harvest, looking at the piled crystal cores in front of him, he was somewhat astonished.
Upon closer inspection, Peter realized that the crystal cores were divided into grades, with those from the two fierce beasts obviously being the highest grade, each the size of a basketball.
Besides that, there were nine others the size of a volleyball, and even more that were the size of a fist.
Compared with the crystal core Peter Brown had obtained for the first time, Peter couldn’t help but give a bitter smile; the two crystal cores he had gotten were just too small—so small that now he even felt a bit embarrassed about them.
Fortunately, he hadn’t recklessly moved around, otherwise he really might have died!
As his gaze fell upon these crystal cores, a thought struck Peter,—why not make full use of them, using these crystal cores to scout ahead?
The more he thought about it, the more he felt that it was completely feasible; it was merely a matter of losing some unmanned aircraft.
Peter’s idea was very clear; obtain more crystal cores, set them up on unmanned aircraft, use these crystal cores as power supplies, and have the aircraft attack while flying towards the forest to draw out the fierce beasts. If the lured beasts were not threatening, he could pass through quickly.
After creating some space underground at one location, Peter returned to Earth.
This adventure had truly been a huge gain for Peter and he planned to prepare some more.
Having returned to Earth, Peter went out and directly headed to the production area.
This place was so secretive that not even Peter’s family could enter.
Upon arriving, Peter saw the robots were busy with packaging and production.
"Salina, how much meat did we get this time?"
"Master, we got a lot this time—three million tons. I’ve already packaged it according to quality using the safest preservation methods. Even after a hundred years, there won’t be any spoilage. Due to the vast amount, we had to use space technology and set up a space warehouse for storage."
Peter shook his head, truly not expecting there to be so much meat.
However, thinking of his large pile of crystal cores, Peter felt relieved; the destructive power of the two fierce beasts was enormous.
"Produce more offensive unmanned aircraft."
Peter instructed Salina.
"Master, after researching the meat of the porcine beast last time, it indeed has significant effects on the people of this realm, though it does require some buffering agents to be absorbed by the human body."
Peter instantly asked excitedly, "What kind of effects does it have on the human body?"
"The greatest effect is that it allows the human body to undergo a second evolution, enabling humans to survive in space."
"Are you saying they wouldn’t need oxygen anymore?"
"Yes, that’s the biggest feature, and it also enables the human body to develop a kind of inner strength, about half as strong as a robot’s."
Peter was aware of the capabilities of the robots he produced; if it really could give humans half the strength of a robot, then human power would be greatly enhanced.
The first idea Peter had was to contribute it to mankind, but after some thought, he still held back that idea, recognizing that too much power could pose serious problems as well.
"Let’s just store the meat for now; if it’s kept in a space warehouse, it should preserve even longer, right?"
"Yes, keeping it in the space warehouse can ensure it won’t spoil for a hundred years."
"Then let’s just store it for now. First produce some, using the best meat quality, and I’ll enhance my family a bit."
