Chapter 1676: Chapter 1674: Attempt to Understand
"I’m going to sleep, don’t disturb me,"
After returning home, Peter Brown said this to Sadie Smith and then closed the bedroom door.
Sadie Smith wasn’t surprised; she answered him and went out to practice driving, having passed her first driving test smoothly and now taking it very seriously.
Entering the bedroom, Peter simply turned off his cell phone and sat down cross-legged.
Today he intended to enter the Holy Sanctuary to see what was inside.
Peter knew that the Holy Sanctuary he was entering was completely different from the one during the seed-snatching. The previous one was a field created by a Saint-level Holy One, whereas this sanctuary was an immense territory, boundlessly vast.
Being a manager of a branch office qualified him for entry?
Peter was also studying this matter; being a manager of a branch office seemed far too minor an official position. If that were the case, his current power would be very weak within this sanctuary.
"Enter!"
With that thought, Peter entered.
Vast!
Silent!
The feeling Peter got was that this place, aside from being rich in energy, was completely uninhabited.
Walking through the wilderness of overgrown grass and towering trees, Peter was guessing at the potential scenarios here.
If indeed people possessing the Sacred Fate Seed could enter, this place would certainly not be simple.
Unfortunately, Peter currently couldn’t find anyone to ask about it. As he traveled, he felt this place was utterly deserted.
Suddenly, Peter’s expression tensed as he saw a wolf-shaped beast standing there.
At a glance, it was a very large and fierce beast. Peter didn’t know exactly what type of beast it was, but it was clear that it was no ordinary Immortal Beast.
What to do?
If it were before, Peter would have punched it right away, but now, knowing his situation, he probably really had no way to handle this creature.
As Peter was startled, the wolf-shaped beast had already pounced towards him.
Like lightning!
Like a wild wind!
The speed was too fast; it rushed up to Peter in an instant.
Peter had no time to think further and could only desperately punch at the beast.
Yi!
Peter himself did not expect what happened next; as he threw his punch, energy surged through his body as if it had burst forth, restoring some energy after which the punch had a broad and profound force.
This punch stunned Peter himself.
Pu!
After a loud noise, the wolf-shaped beast was blown apart by Peter Brown’s punch.
Looking at the beast howling on the ground, Peter glanced at his fist and then felt his entire body, discovering that surges of energy were indeed flowing inside him.
Energy was present even here!
Could it be that as long as he made progress in the officialdom and merged well, the energy would gradually recover here?
Just then, he saw a seed from the body of the wolf-shaped beast heading towards him, which then entered his body.
Looking at the seed, Peter found that this seed had different rules from any seed he had ever received.
What a strange seed!
This was clearly a Sacred Fate Seed, but it was completely different from the seeds of his own world. Where on earth could it have come from?
It seemed that not only individuals from one world could arrive here, but also those from multiple worlds.
At that thought, Peter wondered, could the departure of the Saints from his world mean they had come here?
For a moment, Peter was lost in thought. He realized that every place he had reached was somewhere he had never imagined. If it was true, then this realm was a place of immense strength, truly a place teeming with strong entities.
No, he needed to think this through carefully.
Sitting cross-legged right there, Peter carefully considered everything. Humans undergo reincarnation, yet as long as one possessed a seed, even through reincarnation, one still carried the seed. Upon reaching a certain standard, they would be able to enter this realm. Some arrived in a vegetative state, some through dreams, and others through closed-door cultivation. Thus, the variety of people arriving in this realm must be immense.
Peter then thought of those deranged individuals with great powers in the Mortal Realm, recalling a woman from his village who, even when chained up with Iron Chains, would break free and run off, speaking words others couldn’t understand. He guessed such individuals probably possessed Sacred Fate Seeds, just that some pathway was closed, and their true selves might be living in this realm.
Then there were those in vegetative states, who seemed devoid of vitality, but who might actually have come to this realm.
And those who spent decades or centuries in closed-door cultivation they likely had arrived here too.
If so, how could there be no one here? Peter even guessed that the number of people here could far exceed that of any given Star Planet.
Peter then pondered another issue, whether the people who arrived could start families? Could they have children?
If they could have children, would their children also possess the energy of the Sacred Fate?
All sorts of messy thoughts popped up, and Peter felt bewildered, unable to comprehend the situation clearly.
However, from the recent fight, Peter also saw that the beasts here were truly powerful. His punch, which would be considered very strong in the Immortal Realm, had only just managed to kill this apparently not-so-strong beast. Perhaps there were even stronger beasts around.
Should he enter or not?
At that moment, Peter hesitated. He knew his own situation; his current power truly wasn’t suited for delving deeper. If he encountered a powerful beast or a hostile human, killing him would be a simple task.
Looking ahead again, Peter eventually dismissed the idea of venturing further, thinking it best to merge with some more seeds first and gain strength for safety.
Standing up, Peter issued the command to return.
When Peter arrived back home, he opened his eyes and checked the time, feeling quite surprised. It should have been over ten minutes inside, yet outside, it seemed as though only a minute had passed.
If that was the case, entering in the future wouldn’t pose much of a problem.
Peter’s biggest concern was that a very short time inside would turn out to be countless Years and Months once he came out, but the current situation seemed quite favorable.
Checking his body’s condition again, Peter also didn’t find any problems with his entire body.
