Chapter 1539: Chapter 1539: The Gains Are Too Huge_1
After circling around for quite some time, and seeing that no one was following him any longer, Peter headed for his home.
Upon his arrival at his residence in the Divine Hua Empire, the people inside all came forward to greet him.
"Greetings, Master." Led by Lily, they all bowed to the ground.
"Rise, all of you."
Peter sent everyone away before he entered further into the mansion.
"Please, Master, cleanse and change your clothes."
The gazes of Lily and the others fell upon Peter.
They were speculating about Peter’s identity, somewhat convinced that Peter was the powerful "One King."
Soaking in the hot water, his body relaxed with the kneading from several girls.
This operation could be said to have yielded too great a haul, for Peter had not had the time to sort through his spoils.
After his bath and change of clothes, Peter looked towards the four beauties and threw an Immortal Ring to each of them, saying, "All of you are capable of cultivation. Inside are some resources for cultivation; go and practice."
With gleaming eyes, the four girls knew that Peter intended to elevate their cultivation level, and they all bowed down in gratitude.
"Go on, I’ll be in closed-door cultivation for a long time. Don’t come unless it’s necessary."
"As you command!"
One by one, they left the room.
Peter activated his concealment technique and began sitting cross-legged inside.
Now, Peter wanted to know exactly how much he had gained from this venture.
Firstly, Peter checked the Sacred Fate Seed from the Central Holy Land, which he coveted the most.
Originally, Peter had as many as thirty-seven seeds. Besides those obtained from Quincy Dunhill and Ivana Nelson, Peter felt that he had collected many from others on the battlefield.
Sure enough, upon inspection, Peter was shocked to find that he had acquired a total of sixty-nine Central Holy Region Seeds.
How could there be so many!
Even Peter was stunned by the discovery and, upon a second look, confirmed it was indeed sixty-nine Central Holy Region Seeds, exactly meeting the criteria for cultivating the World Creation Formula.
Upon careful reflection, Peter understood that Quincy Dunhill and Ivana Nelson must have set a trap, duping many people.
Those two didn’t seem to be what everyone thought they were after all!
After giving it serious thought, Peter also recalled that they seemed gravely injured on the surface, yet he did not feel their injuries were that severe during his attack. Had his attack not been with a great number of Sacred Fate Seeds, he likely would not have been able to kill them.
Peter had also noticed something else: if the enemy had a single Sacred Fate Seed with self-healing capabilities, it could completely negate the attack from one of his seeds. In other words, when his twenty-eight Northern Holy Fate Seeds struck them, as long as they had twenty-eight Central Holy Fate Seeds, he could not injure them.
Now it seemed they each had far more than just a handful of Central Holy Fate Seeds. They intended to set such a trap to lure those with Central Holy Fate Seeds and attempt a one-strike kill, thereby obtaining a large number of Sacred Fate Seeds.
Looking up at the Holy Stele, Peter indeed found that the second and third places where the Sacred Fate Seed earners were listed had disappeared.
Only then did Peter realize that those two names belonged to the very couple, who had now vanished.
How could they have the ability to hide their names?
Peter was curious about this. Their names on the Holy Stele were different, not their current ones.
For a moment, he could not understand, but Peter remembered that the combined Sacred Fate Seeds of the two probably exceeded his own.
What a cunning plan!
If it wasn’t for his use of other seeds in his attack, even if they merely joined forces against him, he would have had no way to defeat them.
They might not have expected him to arrive stealthily and then launch a surprise attack, right?
Peter believed that the couple only guarded against him. They did not take others seriously at all. His unexpected appearance disrupted their plan, and he used his Great Power to destroy them.
Originally he had thirty-seven seeds, but now with sixty-nine more, Peter’s collection of Central Holy Fate Seeds had reached a staggering total of one hundred and six.
Peter estimated that the couple’s Central Holy Fate Seeds, combined, would be about fifty, and the rest he obtained from others.
Having over a hundred Central Holy Fate Seeds was, of course, tremendously good news for Peter. With such a number of Sacred Fate Seeds, he could cultivate the World Creation Formula and glean some insights about creating the world within, making it possible for him to cultivate new species.
Turning his attention to the other seeds, he found that he obtained thirteen from the Northern Region, twelve from the West, ten from the Southland, and nine from the East.
Beyond these orthodox seeds, Peter was pleasantly surprised to discover a special kind of seed within his Sage’s World, one that carried a hint of a Saint’s essence and had an opposing sentiment to the existing Sacred Fate Seeds.
Upon seeing these seeds, Peter didn’t need to guess to know they were Alien Seeds.
Looking at the Alien Seeds, Peter found they were not differentiated by region, but were unified in a type of energy that was the opposite of the orthodox seeds.
Peter had acquired as many as thirteen Alien Seeds.
Apart from the Alien Seeds, he also reaped a fair amount of wild seeds. Peter didn’t distinguish between the varieties of wild seeds; he simply allowed them to exist freely in a segregated space within. These wild seeds amounted to a substantial fifty-four.
The spoils from this venture were so immense that even Peter himself was startled.
Looking again at the Holy Stele, it was clear that he was firmly in the first place, untouchable by anyone. The ranking for the Central Holy Fate Seeds was even more commanding, as the second place had only eleven seeds.
Aside from the seeds, Peter also looked at the Immortal Rings. Having collected the rings of those he killed and all the ones that fell on the battlefield after the fight, he opened each ring and tossed the materials and other items inside into his Sage’s World.
As a vast quantity of items entered the Sage’s World, Peter noticed that his realm had grown significantly, producing many new mines.
Mountains of immortal coins accumulated, and after incorporating half into his Sage’s World, he planned to give some to the four girls for their use, treating this place as a home for Peter.
Now it was time to focus on researching new species.
Peter had always had an idea: if one were to follow the paths of the predecessors, one could never surpass them. To achieve greater accomplishments, one must forge one’s own path.
