Chapter 1464: Divine Shoot_1
Chapter 1464: Chapter 1464: Divine Shoot_1
Peter Brown found he had discovered a powerful means of attack.
Although he did not know what it would be like to face a master, Peter knew that the method he had adopted to attack the enemy’s energy nodes was viable, at least the damage to the enemy was 100%.
At this time, Peter deliberately revealed his figure.
Just as Peter’s figure had just appeared, a volley of arrows came shooting towards him.
Having been prepared, Peter dashed forward instantly.
As he charged, the arrows that were shot all lodged into the ground behind him.
With a turn, Peter pulled his bow and released an arrow.
Thud!
Another expert fell to the ground.
Before these people could understand what was happening, Peter had already sent another arrow flying.
Yet another person collapsed.
The enemy had arrived with fifteen people, and in their view, surrounding Peter Brown with such a number posed no problem in killing him, but a direct confrontation led to five of them being wiped out by Black Lotus, and now with Peter’s continuous shooting, another five had died.
The remaining five finally showed expressions of terror on their faces, for they had not anticipated Peter’s archery to be so formidable.
While they were terrified, Peter’s spirits were rising as he fought; it was as if he had once again found that exhilarating feeling he had experienced in the Phantom Realm.
Five more to go!
After understanding the situation of his opponents, Peter no longer thought about escaping, knowing that if he could kill these five people, his chances of escaping would be even greater.
As he cautiously moved towards the direction of the enemy, a whoosh made Peter’s heart skip a beat, and with a swift sidestep, an arrow unexpectedly shot down from above.
Without much thought, Peter raised his bow to aim at an enemy positioned atop a large tree.
At this moment, the enemy too was shocked, his assurance of a successful sneak attack undone as his arrow had not hit Peter, but instead revealed his own position.
In his alarm, he shouted loudly, "He’s right in front, everyone attack together!"
As he spoke, the other four no longer hid and lunged towards Peter.
All four were two or three-star level fighters, thinking that since the bow was not a match for Peter, they would rely on their fighting power to kill him.
At this point, Peter no longer hesitated and sent an arrow flying at the man above.
The same technique, even though the man above had attempted to defend himself, Peter’s arrow pierced right at his energy node, the most vulnerable part of his body.
With a thud, the man fell from the tall tree.
Four left!
Seeing the four men who had already rushed close, Peter knew that he would not stand a chance if he faced them head-on, and he did not want to use his holy fate energy so soon.
With a spin, Peter quickly took off running.
"Kill!"
The four men, seeing that so many of their comrades had died, were all enraged, not believing that dealing with such a trivial figure would lead to such a loss of life.
In their anger, the four discarded their bows and chased after Peter with all their might, resolved to finish him no matter what.
Peter was not truly trying to flee. As the four pursued him in a frenzy, he spun around and shot an arrow.
Thud!
Another person fell, unwilling to succumb.
The remaining three were shocked, experiencing Peter Brown’s threat for the first time, and they actually stopped in their tracks.
Sensing the enemy’s pause, Peter quickly nocked an arrow, his eyes locking onto one of the foes, and he shot another arrow.
"Courting death!"
All three weapons intercepted the flying arrow.
Under the impact of great power, the arrow was knocked off course.
However, Peter seemed to have anticipated the arrow’s ineffectiveness, swiftly following up with three simultaneous shots aimed at each of the three men.
As each of the three men fought for their own survival, Peter’s next arrow silently made its way towards its target.
The sound of flesh being pierced rang out as an enemy on the left stared in shock at the arrow lodged in his neck and then collapsed.
Now only two remained. Peter’s strength seemed ever greater as he turned his gaze upon the pair.
"Run!"
The leader, having lost all will to fight, was overcome by fear and sought to flee.
Seizing their moment of fear, another of Peter’s arrows arrived.
After deflecting this arrow, the two men fled frantically in opposite directions, no longer wishing to confront Peter.
But Peter was determined not to let them escape. Seeing their actions, he fired an arrow at the back of one of them.
An energy node shattered, and that person fell.
Only one remained.
Peter pursued the leader relentlessly.
After a chase, Peter finally killed the last man.
The forest quieted down. Standing before the leader’s body, Peter surveyed the surroundings and sighed in relief, at last having dealt with these people.
Peter had not expected that he would truly be able to shoot and kill all fifteen men with his bow and arrows.
Looking at his Great Bow, Peter silently nodded. His own strength was not that formidable; in such a situation, his only reliance might indeed be his bow and arrows.
While searching the leader’s body, Peter discovered a ring on his finger.
Immortal Ring!
As he took off the ring, Peter felt a wave of excitement. In this Immortal Realm, he was unaccustomed to everything, not even having a ring space of his own, and now he had finally found an Immortal Ring.
Using his Divine Sense to break into the ring, Peter found that it wasn’t particularly spacious—just ten square meters—but it was sufficient.
Looking inside, Peter saw a Great Bow, and upon examination, it was clearly of superior quality to the one he was using.
Further inspection revealed some immortal coins, though he wasn’t sure if they were used in this realm.
As Peter assessed the contents, he shook his head; it was evident that the leader had not brought many items with him, and there was nothing of significant value in the ring.
Afterwards, Peter collected the items from all fifteen bodies, particularly focusing on gathering their arrows.
With these arrows, Peter had acquired a measure of combat strength.
After finding a place to rest and recuperate, he looked at the depleted holy fate. Unsure about when it might replenish its energy, Peter nonetheless felt joyful for possessing two types of holy fate, which was truly a pleasing turn of events for him.
