Hiding in the water, the dragon-shaped Immortal Beast roared in the azure sky for a while before it finally left the area.

After seven days, Peter discovered a peculiar place.

Arriving there, Peter didn’t even see any Immortal Beasts.

What shocked Peter even more was an air of desolation emanating from the core area.

The closer he got, the more Peter felt his vitality slipping away.

Seeing this, Peter didn’t hesitate to swiftly retreat.

It wasn’t until he reached a place where the vitality no longer diminished that he looked back at that area.

Glancing over, he saw a vast wilderness, devoid of any living creature or plant life, empty, with the ground resembling a desert.

Yet, at the very center, there was a small lake with unknown waters that emitted a dark energy.

At the heart of that dark mist bloomed a black lotus.

The black lotus seemed to breathe like a person, inhaling and exhaling the surrounding air.

Moved by a thought, Peter caught a wild chicken.

He threw the large, live chicken forcefully towards the lake.

To his astonishment, the chicken began to age while still in the air.

Clearly, its vitality was being massively drained.

When the chicken fell to the ground, all that was left to see was its complete disappearance, its bones turned to grains of sand.

What an awesome place!

When Peter Brown witnessed this situation, he looked towards the black lotus and thought that even the strongest individuals might not have a chance to survive here.

At that moment, Peter made a new discovery—he found that his eyesight was incredibly sharp, able to clearly see objects at great distances. Logically, his position should have prevented him from seeing the details of the black lotus, yet Peter could see it very clearly and discern even the finest details.

With this revelation, Peter opened his eyes wide and looked again.

His heart trembled wildly at what he saw; he could discern the unique attributes of the black lotus.

Upon closer inspection, the black lotus was no longer just a lotus flower, but a life form resembling the human body.

Indeed, Peter realized that the black lotus was truly a life form. It appeared to be a lotus, but it had its own meridians, which were performing a special kind of breathing.

From his distant position, Peter observed the black lotus intently.

As Peter inhaled towards the sun, he immediately felt a vast energy enter his body and then began guiding this energy along the meridians he had etched into his memory during his immortal transformation.

Now, Peter’s condition perfectly matched that of the black lotus.
